Restaurants in Torpoint
The Cross Keys Inn
The Square, Cawsand, TorpointThis pub offers excellent food. We enjoyed lunch today, a baguette but with a very fresh salad accompaniment, along with crisps and coleslaw.
The atmosphere is super for a relaxing meal, we ate inside, but there are tables in the square outside, if you prefer people watching.
The service was prompt and friendly, the looks clean and vibrantly decorated.
We will definitely be back.

The Canteen at Maker Heights
Millbrook, TorpointThis is an excellent, informal place inside repurposed Nissen huts. Also outdoor seating with a great view. Interesting history to the site. Food is excellent, based on local ingredients and cooked very well. Make their own bread. Do things which are supposedly simple extremely well, such as frittata. Also good desserts that they have made. Good fish cooking, especially local mussels. Service is lovely.

St John Inn
St John, TorpointServers very friendly and welcoming. Drinks were cheap. Nice looking pub with large beer garden. Food only served on a Friday. Very busy but not sure if it was because the chef was retiring or is always that busy, we waited about 1hr45 minutes for our order, apparently indoor orders have priority. My meal was sold out, I heard someone else had also ordered the same meal we had to choose something else, I wasn't offered a refund for the difference so went to ask for it after about 10 minutes. Both meals that were eaten were very good.
Food and drinks are very good value for money.

The Rising Sun
The Grn, Kingsand, TorpointThe Rising Sun is by far the best pub in the Kingsand/Cawsand area. It’s a family run Free House and the warmth of their welcome is one of the first things you notice and, extraordinarily, the friendliness of the locals who frequent the Rising Sun. The food never fails to be outstanding (thanks to Sally & Paul) and the service from Nikki, Monica and Micheal (the owner) at the bar is always swift, friendly and welcoming. The Rising Sun is a true ‘local’ that creates its own friendly a family atmosphere unlike any of the more ‘touristy’ pubs on the Rame peninsula.

The Wilcove Inn
Wilcove, TorpointIt's a bit tricky to get to, single lanes. But the location is excellent by the Estuary. O high tide tables are by the water (outside). On low tide there's a tidal road, adds to the fun day out. The Sunday roast was excellent. Great service. Friendly.
