Fore St, Beer, SeatonThe food is lovely, the staff are lovely and in normal circumstances the atmosphere is lovely. There was a mass table of feral children shouting and screaming which spoilt the evening. It is a shame that parents can allow kids to behave this way when others are paying good money for what would be a lovely meal in an excellent restaurant. I give Smugglers Kitchen 5 stars as this is not their fault but maybe have a continguency plan to remind parents to keep children under control.

The Shed Steakhouse & Grill
4 Harbour Rd, Seaton5 stars from me. Some of the best beef steak I've experienced. Hats off to the team. If you love a proper steak cooked to perfection this is the place for you.

1C Fore St, SeatonOne of the best meals I’ve had for a long time - lovely atmosphere, delicious food and charming staff.
I had the special anchovy pasta which was really good. My husband had the carbonara which he devoured and my toddler son loved his pepperoni pizza.
I’d highly recommended that you visit this place. Was such a nice way to start our holiday.

2 The Burrow, SeatonMyself and my family have just had a lovely meal here and we cannot fault it. The staff were polite, attentive and friendly and the food was amazing. We will most definitely be returning when we visit Seaton again. Thank you Frydays ?

Fore St, Beer, SeatonEnjoyed a light lunch - chicken and halloumi wraps with some rosemary salted fries - in the sunshine of the beer garden. Food was tasty, the view priceless and server, Robert, was on hand to make sure everything was just right! Thank you ?

Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant(Seaton)
68 Harbour Rd, SeatonI have only ever used this for takeaways when visiting my Father. I was a little hesitant to use for eating in due to some of the reviews, but we had a really lovely meal last Saturday.
The food was fresh and expertly cooked. I would prefer my curry sauce to be a little less thick but that's personal taste.
The waitress/host was superb. So polite and friendly.

Fore St, Beer, SeatonA lovely freehouse in a lovely village. Didn't lean into the 'barrel of beer' in beer vibe too much, and seems to have a great balance between food during the day (which we sadly missed) and a drinkers pub in the evening. We were made to feel very welcome despite being obvious tourists - and a great selection of beers were on tap. Thoroughly recommended!

4 Marine Pl, SeatonPossibly the best cafe Seaton. Food quality was excellent and the price was very reasonable. Staff were all really nice and friendly and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. Excellent little place, will be coming back.

Fountain Head House, Branscombe, Street, SeatonWe had a lovely Sunday lunch here. We had a fairly large sized group, but that was no issue for them. We all had a lovely meal, I had the tomatoe soup and goats cheese with beetroot. The atmosphere was great, had steady stream of people but wasn't too busy. Service was great, you order at the bar but they checked a couple of things so they didn't get it wrong. We walked to the other pub in Branscombe but found it way too busy

Us lucky ones without dietary restrictions enjoyed the scones, jam and cream.

This cook knows how to look after his oil. No burnt oil smell or flavour.
Best fish and chips I've had in a while. Friendly staff too.

7 Fore St, SeatonHad the small all day breakfast / brunch, it was absolutely top notch. Good food, cooked to perfection, on a hot plate, with a really nice cup of coffee to go with it. The cutlery was also clean and polished. The service was quick and efficient. Will definitely visit again! ?

Fore St, Beer, SeatonGina's is the best restaurant in the South West (personal opinion, I've been coming here for years!), and most definitely The Place to eat in Beer. A family owned restaurant serving up brilliant Italian and Thai dishes, there's something for everyone here. The pizzas, calzones and tiramisu are especially excellent. Booking is recommended, this popular place gets busy most evenings. If you're in the area, get to Gina's for a relaxing evening in a friendly establishment offering great food!

Old Picture House
Harbour Rd, SeatonThis was a really great last minute find. Really clean and comfortable apartment. 2 mins from the beach, restaurants and the Seaton Tramway.
It is a restored heritage building so there are creaking stairs and heavy doors, but it goes with the charm of staying in a heritage building. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Walkability: The apartments are about 2 mins walk when getting off the bus from Axminster station. And 2 minutes from the beach and restaurants.
