Stibb Cross, TorringtonNormally I have problems finding a pub with decent vegetarian options for the wife, however, the Union Inn had a great selection of vegetarian food as well as meaty food, both of which were very tasty. Great service and staff too.

The Staple Cross Inn
Staple CrossFantastic Sunday Roast & Excellent Service We visited today for Mothering Sunday and had an absolutely delicious roast. The homemade Yorkshire puddings were perfect, there was plenty of meat, and the vegetables were fresh and tasty. The roast potatoes were crispy and full of flavor, and to top it all off, we enjoyed a wonderful homemade apple and blackberry crumble. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Myself was only here last weekend for a girlie weekend nearby thoroughly enjoyed the roast then as well.
