Try the cheese scone with smoked garlic chutney, it’s divine! My 85 year old dad also loves being able to sit with a coffee or hot chocolate and work in the weekly puzzle!

Thanks to the lovely new landlords and their family we are so fortunate to have this fabulous village pub back open with such a welcoming atmosphere, local beers/ales and a real taste of rural Devon. On Wednesdays and Fridays, the best pizzas we’ve had for a long while and the charcuterie boards look amazing. Super dog friendly and a gem - luckily on our doorstep!

Lovely cafe with friendly staff and tasty food. I had the chicken curry pie which was delicious. The great selection of cider in the adjoining shop is a bonus. Looking forward to returning.

We used Jonesys hog roast for our wedding at Beaford Country house back in March. We are still getting guest say now-that it was the best hog roast they ever had. And a special mention about the roasties also? Service and communication was also top notch! Can't recommend enough and thankyou?

Great pub in small rural village. The locals were a friendly bunch, and the Landlord was great, even bought us a drink. What a gem well worth the visit. We didn't order food so have not reviewed it.

Sunday roast is incredible!
Board games available to play, very friendly staff. Asked if they do a small portion for adult & children (was £14.50) incredibly generous served portions! Food was delicious and so tasty! Highly recommend trying. Didn’t have desert as so full!
Chicken was full of flavour and beef was so tender. Empty plates for all of us!
