Cross Hill, DriffieldJust had a superb tombstone steak here at El Dorados. So tender, and full of flavour. couldn't be better, and at a decent price. Can recommend for anyone wanting a great quality steak, especially since they source their meat from a local butcher.

U2 53A, 54 Middle St S, DriffieldYoung Lady (think called Emma T) didn't stop the whole time I was there. Handled a long queue on her own with a welcome and a smile and once she'd cleared the queue she was straight around the counter cleaning tables, glass cabinets. Never seen a Greggs so clean!

42 Market Pl, DriffieldWell worth the money, we had 1 Chicken Burger meal deal where you can choose sauces and salad and Kabab meal both were amazing it was eaten so quickly I didn’t get pictures. The food was piping hot and my best part was the chips as they were not greasy lovely and crunchy with lovely flavour. Would recommend

Chicken handi, chicken desi handi and sag aloo. Cooked to perfection and balanced with loads of flavour. Wow really impressed don’t hesitate to get a takeaway from these guys 10/10

25 Mill St, DriffieldAfter quite a few poor meals at our usual go to takeaway we finally decided that enough was enough, although la Paz had quite a few bad reviews we thought it couldn’t be any worse than our previous place of choice and placed an order via just eat a delivery time was given as 8.40 to 9pm it’s now 8.30 and all I can say was the food was piping hot , tasted great and arrived a lot earlier than expected which was an added bonus as we were rather hungry. Will definitely be placing another order next time we want a takeaway

Either way no excuse to rush a forgotten item slightly disappointed considering how much I order from here quite often id say I’m a regular also pizza fries are delish but not worth £6

The lamb kofte was a tad tasteless but it was blown to pieces with the Chicken Shrawma which was impeccable!I ordered a chocolate gateau which sadly was part frozen but definitely a 4/5!

The Trout Inn
Wansford, DriffieldCame here for a sunday lunch and thought it was great. Prices are good for what you get and portions are very reasonable. The parsnips however were rock hard and freezing cold. However everything else was hot and great quality.
The only downside is if you have a dog you are in the separate area to rhe restaurant which is understandable but they use it as a overflow for the bar and waiting area so irs crowded while you are sat in the centre of the room eating your tea. Especially when there are mothers with prams and no spacial awareness.
Would go again but maybe just for a drink on the jetty in tbe summer again and a nibble in the bar.

59 Market Pl, DriffieldWent in today and was very pleased to see it is no dogs allowed. As I am someone with a severe pet dander allergy I am often not able to find somewhere to grab a bite to eat indoors. Definitely will be calling at this place again. Oh and the food was great too.

River Head, DriffieldStopped here in passing to get something for breakfast. We had scrambled eggs on toast and a sausage sandwich, plus tea and coffee. Food was good, sausage sandwich great value in particular. No frills kinda place in the nicest possible way, good friendly service and good grub, can't fault that. Even though the kitchen was right there, there was no hot cooking smells like you get in some places. Seems to me like that means a well run, well equipped and clean kitchen. Don't know if I'll ever be back in the area but would go here again if I was. Thanks.

57 Market Pl, DriffieldSuch a lovely place! We popped in as we were passing through as it’s dog friendly and looked cosy from the photos. Initially didn’t take the dog inside because he’s a crazy puppy and there was an acoustic night on but the barman Louie was super friendly and encouraged us to come inside. So we did. And all the locals there were incredibly welcoming. Amazing selection of drinks and just a really welcoming and wonderful vibe. Will definitely come again next time we’re in the area. Plus the acoustic gathering was great! Played some favourites of ours. 10/10.

If anything, they could charge more as the pizza was so good, you also get a drink included. We felt welcomed into the friendly and relaxed atmosphere, locals were friendly. The bathrooms were spotless too. I am a carer and my friend has a learning disability, the chef/ owner made us feel very welcome, and went out of his way to make my friend feel special- which is so appreciated. We will definitely be back.

A614, DriffieldRevelation. Great food, large portions, plenty of parking. There are also tables and benches you can sit in the forest and eat. Very nice service and delicious food. There is also a place to stop a truck. Card payment was also accepted. I especially recommend it to drivers. 5 stars.

1 Market Pl, DriffieldThe Buck Hotel is a popular nice traditional pub. There is a wide range of beers lager and cider but no cask conditioned real ales. The beer is very cheap. I was amazed that John Smith's bitter was only £2.40p a pint. There are plenty of TVs for watching Sport. The staff are very welcoming and the pub is dog friendly.
Parking: There is plenty of free on street parking limited to one hour.

13A Mill St, DriffieldCalled into Delicious sandwich bar today and met two delicious ladies. The first one was Called Nadia and the other lady was called Cheryl the owner of the sandwich shop. Ordered a double egg. Sausages and mushroom sandwich with a splash of tomato sauce and also a homemade bakewell tart...which was very delicious indeed, filled a gap. Will be doing a definite revisit highly recommend. It's nice to see businesses that make most of the menu if not all in house, something which is disappearing rapid.
They do a lunch time menu: Lasagne chips and peas . Plus other things. I will do a updated review once I've been back and tried what Cheryl has on offer for me to devour.......
