Pompiere Pizza Co
15 Northfield Cl, South Cave, BroughPompiere Pizza Co. were absolute lifesavers for our wedding weekend! We were unfortunately let down by another supplier just two days before the event, and they kindly stepped in to help us out, even after already completing another event earlier that same day. They were so friendly, efficient, and nothing was too much trouble.
The pizzas were absolutely delicious and went down a treat with all of our guests the night before the wedding. We are so grateful to them for making everything run smoothly and for bringing such a positive, friendly attitude. A fantastic company that we would recommend to anyone!

TIP book a table for dinner.

The Westend Cafe
30a W End, South Cave, BroughHolidaying in the beautiful Ridings of East Yorkshire, we couldn't wait to try one of the cafes - this one, in the beautiful village of South Cave. Although we only had afternoon drinks and cakes, we will certainly be back for breakfast.
Prompt service, proper portions and reasonable prices. As Southern Softies, we're simply not used to this kind of quality! And the best thing? The fact that the locals (who clearly know they're on a good thing) will actually strike-up a conversation, rather than stare at the floor, which is what they would do in the cafes around us.
Absolute gem which we were delighted to find. (And our dog was even catered for with a free treat... she can't wait to go back either!)

Cave Castle Hotel
Church Hill, South Cave, BroughNice place with nice grounds and pleasant rooms. Loved the siutes of armour by the entrance all very medieval. Food was pretty good too. Staff were polite and attentive in the restaurant although they seemed really rushed as it was a full house that evening and things came out of the kitchen in a drip feeds. No Major issue and it happens when its busy and it didn't detract from our evening.

Drewton's Farm Shop
The Drewton EstateWe only stopped because we saw the signs for food and doggy ice cream. And so glad we did. Beautiful restaurant with extremely friendly staff and our dog can sit at the table with us. A year ago I would have said the prices were a bit steep, but now I would say they were average, the food is excellent and you get very good portions, I was disappointed with the price of a large rose! £9….. we all know how much a bottle of wine costs at a wholesaler and we understand that you have to make a profit but that is outrageous. Anyway the lovely girl that served us was cheery and bright and she told us she loved her job, I can see why. The farm shop was amazing, too much to list. Go and have a look for yourself.
It’s an hours ride for us, we will be back.
