Buxted, UckfieldWe had afternoon tea here for my mother’s birthday. We have visited Buxted Park very often over a number of years, for family parties, our wedding, meals and afternoon teas. The staff are amazing and we are always very well looked after. The food and atmosphere are both beautiful. The grounds are also stunning. We had afternoon tea today and watched the sun set over the grounds. It was amazing as always and never disappoints. A very special place for our family.

Hare & Hounds
The St, Framfield, UckfieldDefinitely worth a return visit. The menu is relatively small (which is not a bad thing) but there are also daily specials. The portions are generous and are freshly served by friendly staff. Ample car parking at the rear of the pub and sheltered outside dining is also possible.

The Pig & Butcher
Five Ash Down, UckfieldThere were 2 of us and a dog, we didn't have a reservation and arrived just before 1pm on a Sunday. We spoke to a lovely barmaid who was welcoming then we sat outside, I ordered drinks at the bar and was told what meat they had today. We ordered, the food arrived promptly and everything was absolutely delicious. There is a play area for children outside so we listened to children and parents playing together while we ate which was lovely. We will return and I'd definitely recommend eating here.

212 High St, UckfieldI love this place. It ticks all the boxes for me for what a cafe should be like. It usually has a bustling atmosphere of friendly cliental. Attentive and friendly staff, lovely food and drinks. Clean, spacious toilet facilities suitable for a wheelchair with access ramp and a kids play area tucked up the back. They can't do too much for you. Love it! Worth a visit.

Horsted Place
Little Horsted, UckfieldI really recommend this hotel. The location is very picturesque, hotel well decorated and the room was surprisingly spacious. It is linked with East Sussex National Hotel nearby which means you have access to their health club facilities. The stand out experience of my stay was the service from certain members of staff. Special mention to Josh, Bruno and Ivana, the service given by these members of staff was exceptional and a credit to this hotel.

Chequers
High St, Maresfield, UckfieldWe had a really lovely stay at The Chequers. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were helpful and attentive. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. In the morning a continental breakfast was laid out which was fresh and appetising. My husband also had a cooked breakfast which he enjoyed. The shower wasn’t brilliant but I guess it’s quite difficult to get the pressure up in the top floor. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

The Peacock Inn
Shortbridge Rd, Shortbridge, UckfieldVisited for Sunday roast today and we were thoroughly impressed with the food and the service. All the waitresses were lovely, friendly and helpful and looked smart and approachable too. The roast dinners were spot on, plenty of colourful veg and deliciously well seasoned mains. Plenty of seating out the front with shade for hotter days. Would come back again for sure 10/10 ??

Hathi Indian Restaurant
High St, Nutley, UckfieldWe ate here 10 days ago with our daughter and her partner. Food, service, presentation and atmosphere were all great despite it being a busy Saturday night (testament to its popularity). We live nearby and feel fortunate to have a lovely Indian (Hathi) and great Italian (La Casa) nearby.

It’s a shame Ryan doesn’t do food everyday of the week as I would eat there everyday of the week not just Friday Saturday and Sunday !!!

Pre booking communication excellent, Choe was really helpful. I explained what we were looking for. It is always great to have the family gathered so explained that we were in no rush and planned to spend the afternoon there. As arranged, we arrived and mingled at the bar before making our way to our table. No problem with us adding a couple of balloons and a banner. Plentiful supply of drinks, great service suitably attentive. Just give them the nod and they appear. Starters, mains and deserts all excellent. All the food came out at the same time, so we all ate together. Although it was pretty busy for a lunchtime it was great that we didn't need to shout down the table to be heard. Great atmosphere!! Once we had finished, we weren’t chased off the table and still had time for a couple of post lunch cocktails. From start to finish the whole experience was perfect! I was more than happy to round up are bill in way of a thank you! Chloe and the team gave us the perfect family afternoon. Certainly, a do again!

Loxfield Chambers, Grange Rd, UckfieldBooked them for our 40th wedding anniversary. We had 15 People in total, me pre booked food, all ordered straight from the menu on the night.
The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the staff were polite, friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
I can highly recommend eating here. It's our takeaway of choice normally but will definitely go back to eat in again. Everyone in the party had very positive comments afterwards so well done guys. We had a brilliant evening.

226 High St, UckfieldThe food was amazing.\\nWhile I appreciate they were busy as hell on Xmas Eve, having someone sticking their head through the door from the kitchen and berating the poor girl taking orders, in front of customers, and while she was on the phone is borderline abuse. It's not her fault people want to come in and order food. Be civil. Hence the 1-star atmosphere, awkward doesn't even come close.

The staff were super friendly and very quick for service and checking up too, even though we were the only table outside at the time. Child friendly, lots of high chairs available, we came with two babies and lots of space and very accommodating for them with baby changing facilities too. Cakes were delicious with lots of options and good range of food and drinks. I ordered chicken Caesar salad and did think it was a little small for the price though, but very tasty. Will go again!

What a great decision. My food turned up hot and no errors on my order. I asked for a Chicken Tikka Vindaloo Hot,Hot,Hot.
I added a special request for an addition of some bird eye chillies if possible.
The food was superb.

1x Mushroom Rice
5 Poppadoms + Pickles etc.
1 King Prawn Puree
1 Onion Bahjees.

Ground Floor, 41 High St, UckfieldWe visited 5/10/25 of the evening and there was a young gentleman working a 12-9 shift.
One of the most polite, communicative & funny servers. Nice and chatty, friendly. Ended up getting talking with my and my partner about different types of subs etc, he’s very relatable!
Recommended us the cheese bites with the garlic and herb dip which are bloody lovely!
Anyway, just a note to say how lucky you are to have him in the uckfield branch ???

This place is amazing we travelled with friends from brighton to go here. Menu and food looked amazing!!
As soon as we walked in friendly staff greeted us straight away and got us some drinks.
The food was absolutely amazing everything cooked to perfection ?
Really enjoyed everything apart from the wasps hahaha but that didn't ruin our time it was actually funny hope that's sorted now haha

57 High Street, UckfieldFood is always made incredibly quickly, im surprised at how fast ive gotten deliveries before, the food is nice for the price and the atmosphere could be improved but thats a general dominos thing and not specific to this branch, staff are nice and patient with people's orders.

Maresfield By Pass, Maresfield, UckfieldWe love going here when we go and visit my mum and dad we love the option for a drive thru as my son is disabled and doesn't deal well in big ,loud space., As he can become overwhelmed and have one of his( Red zones) aka shut down modes.So busy environments aren't good.
Also the queuing system through the drive thru could be better and staffed better . As there's always been one person taking orders and taking payments and another handing out orders so there needs another window being built to help give this option.

On the toilets with all I just want to clarify that the team of the McDonald's must be definitely have the right introduction to assure the health and safety of this place I'm glad that we all pay attention to that details and that's the only reason why I take down this comment because I see that they did something about it are reconsider this common to assure that in this less few weeks the McDonald's it's been successfully take a note of this health and safety on the toilets
