I was able to sit in a corner and crochet to my hearts content with no one judging or interrupting me ! If im ever in the area again id happy revisit... come on guys give this place a go its so quaint and cosy!

Black Bull & Village Hub
Main Road, Margaretting, IngatestoneDidn't stay in rooms but noticed they had them . We ate in the tea rooms section called The Old Teapot, which is a good idea to have as an alternative. We had lovely sandwiches with salad and crisps garnish. Really good . You can get full bar service in there so I had a wine and hubby a beer. We'll definitely return as found it offered a lot of variety in their menu plus specials .

The Red Lion Margaretting
Main Road, Margaretting, IngatestoneI want to apologise for the misinformation shared about The Red Lion Margaretting in a post recently made but removed on the same day. It was 100% incorrcet and we realised a short while after posting, that the statements concenrning non-payment and alleged phoenixing were wholly inaccurate and wrong. The fact of the matter was we had been supplied incorrect information that related to seperate co unattached to The Red Lion Margaretting.
I have since contacted both Billy and Danny personally to apologise for the unnecessary damage this may have brought to their repuations within our industry and as a company we are taking full responsibility for the mistake.
I understand the importance of accuracy and fairness in business dealings and would like to reiterate our regret for any damage the words may have caused.
We are now working closely with Danny to ensure that any outstanding issues are addressed in a more professional and more importantly accurate manner. James George
