Magpie Ln, Little Warley, Warley, BrentwoodA little off the beaten track, if you don’t know it exists you’re unlikely to be aware of the place. Having moved from the area it was a memory lane to go there again. Lovely food, very good staff and fair pricing on the food though the drinks seemed expensive. Very quiet on the evening we went, must have been lucky given the amount of seating available. Huge outdoor area as well for the summer months. Our large party included 4 very young children who all left clean plates. I would certainly go there again.

Thatchers Arms Great Warley
Warley Rd, Great Warley, BrentwoodHad a Sunday lunch here as a group of 4. Carpark is smallish so get there early if you can. There was a very unpleasant smell from the carpark (drains or sewage) when walking in to the pub which was not a good start. The inside however was very nice and the staff were friendly. The roast lamb and pork were good but the roast beef was too raw and tough to eat. Being a proper pub it gets quite noisy so can be difficult to hold a conversation.

Mizu Noodle Bar
69-70 Brook St, BrentwoodLocal Takeaway for me & quick service & gr8 food so can't fault it but as it's close to M25/A12 junction it's some distance from nearest towns i.e. Brentwood & Romford but they do deliver !!!
