It's the only dog friendly pub in Brentwood, and it's great to get a drink and a bite to eat after visiting nearby Thorndon, It can get busy, so it's best to book for food in hot weather, although there's plenty of space outside in the garden for drinks only.

Thatchers Arms Great Warley
Warley Rd, Great Warley, BrentwoodPossibly the best Sunday lunch I have ever had. The food was sensational and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. Very relaxed and welcoming. We brought our dog with us and the staff made a big fuss of her. Service was amazing and we will definitely be back regularly. Perfect way to finish the weekend.

69-70 Brook St, BrentwoodMassive servings of quality food for a good price, very filling and satisfying. The service was quick and efficient and the staff were friendly. £60 for 3 mains 3 drinks and 2 sides + a service charge. The meat was unfortunately a little bland but the portion size more than made up for it.
