We were visiting the area for one night & wanted a pub with live music.
The singer on Sat eve was great & covered some great songs.
The garden overlooks a pool with many swans & ducks. Its stunning.
We didnt eat but the food looked amazing.
Would highly recommend.

The Three Horseshoes
The Three Horseshoes, Bighton Dean Ln, AlresfordFood and service superb. Today the Menu had changed again and was fabulous. I had Scallops and then the Bean Ratatouille - absolutely brilliant.... Atmosphere only 4 star as there was nobody else there until 1.30 surroundings were fab (prefer no plastic plants - but who cares when the food is SO good!)

The Fox - Bramdean
A272, Bramdean, AlresfordWe went to the fox yesterday after a walk in the countryside nearby. Everything was perfect nice drinks food amazing and prompt service at a very reasonable price for these times.We look forward to a return visit sometime in the future ?

The Flower Pots Inn

Was recommend this palace down the beer but the food ans overall experience were sublime.
I’m a real ale fan. Tried three of their ales which were great (Took 4 pints away as a take out). My other half is a foodie. We were both very impressed with the food. We both had the sea bass. The kids enjoyed their meals. The puddings were also sublime and I’m not normally too bothered about the last course.
Decor and Atmosphere were great.
What stuck us the most was the high quality of service. It was a young team. All were very friendly , professional, quick to serve and proactive in helping clientele (eg advising what wasn’t available and when to order). Definitely not the all too common ‘can’t be bothered’ and stuck on their mobile phones.
Will definitely return.
Keep it up.

The Horse & Groom, Alresford
2 Broad St, AlresfordLovely, atmospheric pub. Good selection of beer and a decent menu. Our food was very good, although portion size could have been bigger for the price. Plenty of free parking outside in the evening, but it is limited during certain times. Highly recommended. We'll be back, thank you.

I am very much a regular to caracoli and always feel incredibly welcome, especially by Harry who always has time for a chat and have a laugh. A top guy with a heart of gold or should i say coffee?? hahaha

The Bush Inn
Ovington, AlresfordLovely pub and beautiful location. It’s a yearly tradition for us to go there after a tough few weeks working at a nearby festival.
Food is exceptional and the staff are friendly. Both garden and inside seating areas are full of charm and character. Worth the trip off the main road any time!

The Hinton Arms
Petersfield Rd, AlresfordFood looked delicious but made the mistake of asking for a roast on a Sunday evening which wasn't fresh or the best quality, however I didn't complain so I'm not sure how that would've gone. Tip, go for the freshly cooked menu especially on a Sunday evening as like I said the other food we saw coming out looked and smelled delicious. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed and the garden and play area was really good, definitely great for families. All in all a lovely pub.

The Sandwich Shop
51 West St, AlresfordAs a previous resident of Alresford friends who still live there had told me about this little gem.
So when I was out there to visit I thought why not give it a go.
I always like to support a local business where I can and Sarah’s Sandwich shop did not disappoint.
I had a cheese and ham baguette.
Fresh and delicious. I also had a caramel slice packet of crisps and a can of coke.
In a world of processed food and posh coffee shops I found Sarah’s to be a breath of fresh air, where you can pop in for a sarnie and a chat and feel a part of the community.
Little places like this need to be kept alive so visit if you can. Be patient if you have to wait. It’s worth it. ?

44-46 West St, AlresfordA good deli in upper middle class New Alresford; very helpful service and some great products. I bought a great quiche Lorraine. They will order a product in for you and keep it in stock if you want it regularly. There is a cheese counter to die for. A must buy is their little strong cheese tart cases but, beware, they are highly addictive even eaten on their own.

60 West St, AlresfordI absolutely love this restaurant…the food is by far.. the best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted… the staff are so welcoming and attentive.. and are happy to recommend dishes to suit your tastes.. the menu is really varied and well balanced I’d say there is something on it for everyone!! Nice wine and drinks selection and to top it off you’re not rushed off the table… would highly recommend this restaurant …
