Lymington Rd, BrockenhurstFood was superb, I had the venison pizza which was delicious, partner had pasta and was apparently just as good (didnt share so am assuming so). Service let it down a little, very slow considering the low volume of punters in at that point, and took 20 minutes to get the bill even though three staff were present...which then came out wrong and had to be corrected. Suggestion: put your mobiles down and concentrate on your paying customers.

Sway Rd, BrockenhurstWe visited here whilst staying locally and had an enjoyable evening.
From start to finish it was great with no complaints. There was a good menu choice and the service was brilliant. We chose the soup - Broccoli and Stilton and prawn linguine to start with. Followed by fish cakes and the mushroom and beef stroganoff. We finished with the cheese board. Everything was delicious and can highly recommend. We plan to return as soon as possible.

26 Lyndhurst Rd, BrockenhurstHas to be one of the best Thai restaurant we have ever been too and we have tried a lot. Staff where very friendly and kept the wine glasses full. We went for a set meal and portion size was very good can’t say we left feeling hungry at all. All the dishes tasted so good Will be returning next time we are in the New Forest. Well worth a visit if your in the area and food is also a reasonable price.
Revested in 2026 and was just as good of not better. Well worth a visit if your passing.

Foresters Arms
10 Brookley Rd, BrockenhurstWe called at a few pubs in Brockenhurts and found this to be the nicest and definitely the cheapest beer and the only one that sold John Smiths!! Lovely outside seating area with an enclosed building to sit in also, all the tables outside are cleaned regularly by lovely staff. The guys waiting on the tables were very attentive and cleared empty tables quickly. Staff inside were very pleasant and quick to offer help. Very clean all round. On my second visit that weekend I ordered. Cheesy chips, very nice home made chips not frozen, my only moan was that the cheese was very tasteless, a nice strong cheddar would have made this more satisfying for me, but it was well presented and lovely.
When leaving we asked a member of bar staff if they could order us a taxi back to our campsite which he did without hesitation. All in all the nicest pub we visited

The Bakehouse
45 Brookley Rd, BrockenhurstThe bakehouse has a good selection of buns doughnuts and hot pies. They are fresh everyday and well worth grabbing if your staying locally and out and about.
It's a busy little place and the staff are quick to serve you. During peak times there must be a que to get in but but we didn't wait long to be severed

High St, Beaulieu, BrockenhurstOrdered a filter coffee is it was the best coffee ive ever had. Everything else on the menu looks good and high quality. The service was friendly. The garden seating area is pretty magical with the bird life and plants. Highly recommend

57-59 Brookley Rd, BrockenhurstStaying nearby so ordered an Indian takeaway online with designated collection time. Ordering process was easy, with a clear discernible menu. Received an email confirmation once completed ordered and turned up 5 mins before time. Staff were very friendly and food was ready straight away. The quality of the food was exceptional, with very generous portions provided for the two of us. Would highly recommend a visit for anyone nearby.

My close friend Kais and I cycled 25 miles just to try this place—and let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it. After such a tough journey, all I wanted was to sit somewhere relaxed and chill out, and that’s exactly what I got.
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a fantastic young lady—Megan, I believe her name was. She was an absolute delight! Her customer service was top-notch: constantly smiling, incredibly friendly, and super chatty in the best way possible. She made me feel completely welcome, even though I was sweaty and probably didn’t smell the best after the ride.
The food wasn’t fine dining, but it was exactly what my body needed—hearty, satisfying, and the perfect fuel for the trip back.
All in all, if Megan is the one serving you, I guarantee you’re in for an amazing experience. Can’t recommend it enough!

Balmer Lawn Hotel, Lyndhurst Rd, BrockenhurstWe visited for a spa day. The spa seems to have been done recently, it was lovely, clean and quiet. We also had access to their indoor and outdoor pool. The jacuzzi is small and can only comfortably hold two people and there was two people hogging it all day so we never got to use that. However it was a warm day so we spent most of our day laying by the outside pool. They have a QR code you can use to order drinks to the pool which was handy, however it didn’t seem like anyone was working on it at the start of the day as it took 45 minutes to get a cup of tea and a pint of Pepsi. Also, I ordered a pot of tea but they don’t allow china by pool so I only got a paper cup of tea - felt a bit of a rip off at £4 for a small paper cup of tea. They started getting better at being on top of the QR orders as the day went on. We also ordered a pizza take away but after ordering they told us we couldn’t get it by the pool, even though other staff said we could so some confusion there. Apart from this we had a lovely visit and would highly recommend on a sunny day

Monty's Inn
Monty's Inn, Palace Ln, Beaulieu, BrockenhurstGood beer and an excellent wine menu make for a good start. The food was comforting and delicious; simple and wholesome but well executed. The staff were friendly and prompt. But be aware that their food service isn't all day - I think they only serve lunch until 1430 for instance and we only just arrived in time.
The decor was light and had the ceiling been higher I might even have called it airy, but something about the place felt bleak, and I don't think it was just because we were the only people in there.
