I only gave the Willow Tree 3 stars back in 2021, but went the other day, now that the new owner has taken control, and had a better experience, so am increasing my review to 4 stars.I’d give them 5 stars for the atmosphere, decor and beer…with special recognition for the spacious beer garden. The food is really a 4 star experience still…I had roast beef on this visit and it was pretty gristley. Last minute booking and so glad we did. The food was excellent and very generous, I had the game faggots which were very filling. Good choice of real ales and reasonable priced wine. Would definitely recommend this pub/restaurant.
