The scotch egg was to die for, ruuny egg, hot sausage meat and crispy breadcrumbs, I'm guessing they are made to order. Hot honey halloumi and salt & pepper squid were also great. Will definitely return.

The homely feel and happy faces making you feel very welcome.
We only wanted a quick stop and they rustled up chicken & avocado salad rolls, which weren't on the menu - they should be! Absolutely scrummy!!
Sat in the beer garden, which was nice, plenty of room, not crammed in.
A lovely place in a quintessentially English village.
A real find & well worth a visit.

Hever Rd, Bough Beech, EdenbridgeA lovely historic pub full of ambience, with candles alit at every table and beautifully rustic decor adorning the walls and mantle-pieces.
The food was worth the price, as the portion sizes are generous and the quality is clear. I tried the pork belly roast, which I'd give a solid recommendation to for anyone who likes pork belly and crackling, as it was done very well.
The garden is also an excellent space, too late in the evening for us to use sans jackets, but I'd go there for a beer just for the garden alone tbf!
Service was attentive and friendly to boot.

The Rock
Hoath Corner, Chiddingstone Hoath, EdenbridgeWe stopped in with our two dogs for a bite to eat. What a place! The food was delicious, we recommend the sticky toffee pudding and the spiced crumble!! They were unreal. The staff were lovely and have created a very relaxing ambience. If we are back in the area, we will be coming back.

The food, everything we order is sublime, a real pearl for Indian cuisine in and around Edenbridge. Couldn't recommend it more, for the price you pay, you really do get quality food. Have never found it to be excessive oil l, as you can find elsewhere. The variety on the menu, means you can try new things or stick to what you know. Highly recommend

Longhouse Malaysian Fusion Restaurant Ltd
33 High St, EdenbridgePerhaps one should not be surprised to find high quality Malaysian food in Kent but I was! We didn’t take photos of the items but greatly enjoyed the king prawns with sambal sauce, Malaysian fried noodles with chicken and prawns, Thai Tom Yum soup with prawn and egg fried rice. Everything was packed securely and ready for quick pickup. Prices very reasonable and service friendly and courteous. As a traveler in town to visit Hever Castle I can only hope to return someday ???

Absolutely fantastic food at good prices really friendly service and good rooms to match. Grounds of the restaurant are good and very private and relaxed.

I had it with Coconut Rice, a Keema Naan and some poppadums I wouldnt hesitate to go back here. Being solely a takeaway the food prep was quick and I was in and out in two minutes.

Hever Rd, How Green, EdenbridgeMy son and I had a very relaxing time at The Waterside on Father's day. Sadly my husband, my son's dad, is no longer with us.
Such a lovely venue. We sat beside the pond on the terrace, everything feels better when you are alongside water. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We both opted for the burgers (my son had the vegetarian burger), which were lovely, as were the chips and coleslaw.
The only downside is that there are very few vegetarian options on the menu. Also, the menu is very limited. I understand that this is not a Restaurant in the purest sense, but I really think the menu needs upgrading. The chefs are obviously very capable, and I think they deserve to showcase their abilities.

Hever Rd, Hever, EdenbridgeGood breakfast. May I suggest not putting the butter on top of the hot toast which just turns it to oil. It was unbearably hot. Some fans would have been useful. I asked for black pepper and didn't get any. But overall it was a good breakfast and a peasant experience.
