Jaslicking Seafood Boil, Kent

The two ladies running this restaurant are absolutely lovely, they make clean, delicious seafood boils and are incredibly accommodating!
I have been to many other seafood boils such as crack shack, hot n juicy etc and this is by far my favourite!

We ordered : The queen boil x2 boiled eggs, plantain, garlic butter sauce, hot sauce 10/10!

The Refinery

Wonderful spot in Faversham to have a morning coffee and snack with amazing cocktails and a lovely German lager in the evening. All with lovely staff and a great atmosphere.

A wonderful visit! The food was delicious! I would suggest to just order online and then collect and eat in the restaurant or outside, but it is possible to also order at the restaurant too! Our trip was to celebrate a friend's birthday and I really want to thank all the staff; they helped light the cake I bought in and sang happy birthday too! Staff were smiley, attentive and happy to help and came with fresh pizzas that were delicious and good value for money! I can't recommend enough!

Posillipo - Faversham

A hidden Italian gem worth every bite

It was just another ordinary Tuesday. After a long, hectic day at work, I suddenly remembered a friend recommending a highly recommond Italian restaurant, so I decided to give it a go — and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be!

I arrived at around 8pm, which I now believe is the perfect time to visit. The roads were clear and I easily found a parking spot right outside the restaurant — already a good start.

Despite being the last table seated, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. There was not a hint of impatience, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and unrushed.

For starters, we had a glass of their house white and a portion of Calamari Fritti. The deep-fried squid was outstanding — light, crisp, and not greasy at all. Easily one of the best I’ve had in the UK.

Then came the mains. The Marinara pizza, and let me just say — the simpler the dish, the harder it is to perfect. But this pizza? Hands down the best I’ve had anywhere in the UK, and yes, even better than many I tried during my trip to Italy!

The other main — thanks to my friend’s strong recommendation — was the Risotto Alla Pescatora. Honestly, it's the best risotto I’ve ever had. The flavour was rich, the texture beautifully balanced, and it’s now officially my must-order dish every time I come. It alone is enough reason for a return visit.

Portions were generous and everything was so delicious that, regretfully, we couldn’t finish the Marinara — ended up taking half of it home. That meant we had to save the Linguine Posillipo for next time... but to be honest, it only gives me more reason to come back this October.

Next round: I’ll definitely be reordering the Risotto Alla Pescatora, finally trying the Linguine Posillipo, and taking away a Marinara or a Margherita. Trust me — when you reheat their pizza in your own kitchen, the aroma is honestly more intoxicating than Chanel No.5.

Although we couldn’t manage any dry pasta last night, we still ordered a slice of their Pistachio Cheesecake to take away. I had it as today’s tea break, and it felt more like a proper high tea than just an average afternoon snack — pure indulgence.

It’s hard to fully describe the experience in words — it’s something you truly have to experience yourself. A dining journey that satisfies not just your stomach, but also your soul.

PS: My only tip — avoid peak hours if possible, and don’t test the chef’s limits. They deserve time and space to create magic.

The Raj Indian Cusine

Went in here after a day out in faversham, food was excellent, sag panoir especially..
We had
Chicken tikka mosala, garlic chilli chicken and onion bahjis....everything had a lovely taste and the garlic chilli chicken was lovely and spicy. Only gave 4 stars for atmosphere as only us and another couple in there..it was around 5.30pm ish ?? imagine it gets very busy in the evenings ??
Will go again, when I'm in the area?

Three Mariners

Although it did take about 35 mins for our food to get to the table, it was well worth the wait. The leek ravioli was delicious and honestly one of the best things I've ever tasted. The people behind the bar were lovely, and the vibe of the bar was overall cute and vintage which i loved !!!

The Cow Shed at The Ship Inn

Really enjoyed visiting The Cow Shed. My review is based on sitting outside having a few pints through the day. The staff were lovely and great with my dog. They had treats for the dog at the bar on sale. The food coming out the kitchen smelt lovely and I'm planning a trip back soon for lunch.

Had a takeaway from here this evening as our usual restaurant in Whitstable was closed. Very impressed, lovely food, generous portions. Great service. Will definitely go back.

I love this place, we order their pizza a lot and it’s definitely the best stuffed crust I’ve had, delivery is fast and they’re one of the only places that actually deliver to us which is great! My one complaint would be the styrofoam boxes for the sides as there have been a few times where the hot oil from the freshly fried sides actually melted the box and burned through to the next one, which made the food inedible. If they sorted this issue out it would be 5 stars!Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options so there’s always plenty to eat! Vegan options not so much, but there are lots of vegetarian choices

The Phoenix Tavern

Prebooked for 5 adults, we chose the Sunday roast. Very welcoming staff, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. All orders arrived together and in good time, beautifully cooked,arriving hot. Definitely would recommend and visit again.

Anchor Inn

On Saturday evening we had been let down and Paige and Mark stepped up and offered to help make our Daughters 18th birthday very very special and they certainly did that!
There was over 40 of us in the garden, Paige put up the balloons we delivered and reserved some tables under a huge umbrella for us all outside. what a lovely space their garden is! The young children ran around with the dogs leaving the adults to drink, chat and mingle and when it came to birthday cake time, Paige and Mark both delivered the cake into the garden for us With napkins and cutlery and smiles.
Nothing was too much for them.
When a family member got drinks they put them on a tray and carried them to the garden for them.
Checking on everyone throughout the evening, clearing glasses and taking time the chat too.

We will most definitely be visiting again soon! The entire family agreed what a super place it is and how refreshing it was to feel both wanted and appreciated.

The Korean Cowgirl at Cave Hotel

We ate here to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday, the staff were attentive, polite and service was incredible, the food to top it off was some of the best food I have had attention to detail in presentation was beautiful, reasonably priced will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu

The Shipwright's Arms

The scotch eggs that are occasionally on the menu here are the best i’ve ever had. Both the herb, and the spicy variety are outstanding (spicy is my favourite) They’re a meal in themselves!
The Shipwrights is unique, and has always been a very special place to me. I learnt to walk there, learnt to drink there, and now enjoy the fact that they are the sort of pub to have sofas and armchairs in which to sit and drink their great beer ??

Diana's Tea Room

Had tea, scone and an egg and cress sandwich all of which was lovely. The deco is very cute and reminds me of being at my Nans. A place of love and personable charm. The scone was made in house and it honestly was the best I’ve ever had. I shall return with my partner who I know will love it. Great job.

The rest of the team were also very lovely and welcoming.

Furlongs Ale House

Lovely micropub in the heart of Faversham. Excellent selection of beers, ciders and wines. Enjoyed the cherry cider. Very friendly welcome and great atmosphere. Sunny courtyard garden at the back too. Highly recommend a visit.

Gaslight Fish Bar

It's a takeaway so little atmosphere but you're always greeted in a friendly and welcoming way. Food is good portions are large and reasonably priced. Probably could do with getting rid of the fishtank

Just popped in for a bit of lunch. Service from the staff is absolutely top class and the food is amazing! Sat in the car enjoying our Fish n' Chips on a rainy day.

The Alma

Good service great food. We booked very last minute for a table for 2 as we were camping locally, we were fitted in although the pub was busy. We arrived slightly early but still managed to be served drinks while we waited. We chatted to locals who were all very welcoming and friendly. The staff were pushed but still attentive and helpful and smiled the whole time. The menu is varied and plenty of choices, and we were more than happy with the speed of delivery and how it all tasted. Cannot rate how hard the staff worked last night, hats off to you all, but I expect more staff is needed to ease the pressure. food was great, service was great, everyone else in the pub was friendly, - well done

The Dove

Really enjoyed visiting the Dove. It's more of a restaurant than a pub. Good quality food and well presented. We all left clean plates at the end which is a good sign.
Service was attentive.
Atmosphere allowed for easy table conversation.
Prices are on the tad high side and for that you are expecting good food which is what we got. If I have to be picky then the paper napkins could have been slightly upgraded as felt cheap and didn't conform to the rest of the experience.

Cosgroves

Had a breakfast there today , totally outstanding , I didn't eat the hash brown the only reason for that is I dont like them , I couldn't knock the service or the food , I totally recommend this place ! You won't be disappointed.

The Dairy Restaurant & Bar

This restaurant is amazing! The food was all delicious. We had the sea bass and the crispy pork belly. Both were sublime. Then we had the steamed apple golden syrup pudding - so yum! The service was great and the background music was perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough. A+++++++

The Castle Inn

Lovely pub, clean, super friendly lady served us. Perfect for dogs, garden lovely and immaculately kept! Food was good to traditional pub grub. We all had empty plates. Sat in the conservatory which was really nice. Definitely be back :)

Bear Inn

I like this historic pub, in the heart of Faversham’s market area - I’ve been here previously, but not for a few years.

Popped in for a pint - the bar is divided into several sections, after the traditional fashion, with public and saloon areas.

Opted for the saloon, which is to the rear. Nice place inside, cosy and inviting.

The beer was Shepherd Neame’s Spitfire lager; but others were available. Bacon Fries were the crisps. All you could ask for.

I didn’t eat in this occasion, but there was a food menu available from midday.

Overall a decent and traditional pub. I will return.

The Cafe by the Creek

Lovely place to visit. Amazing cakes. Lovely owners and staff. Children and dog friendly. Home made ice cream is amazing!!!!

Parking: Parking on site there is a decent amount. You can park near by easly if they are full.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!

We popped in on Saturday on rhe off chance and we hadn’t booked. Oh wow !!!! How impressed were we !!! From the amazing service the character and Ambiance and well the food !! What can I say or was tasty. plentiful and served perfectly. We will be back and I promise we will book next time. thank you so much. Xx .

Moonlight Cafe Breakfast Restaurant

Great stop for breakfast. Service can sometimes be a bit hectic, when we sat down the waitress was straight over to take our order before the menu was even down followed by the remainder of our visit listening to them chatting away. Cannot fault the food

go to kebab shop pizza isn’t the best but the donna kebab is amazing my family have been going to this place since we’ve lived in the area and they have never ever let us down the customer service is amazing and the staff are lovely people will forever be my go to kebab shop in

Really nice chips everyone who had some said that they were really nice (crispy outside and fluffy inside) the lasagne wasn't very nice apparently so I would avoid that if you can.

We popped in on the spur of the moment a week or so ago - £15 per person for a fabulous steak pie including a drink. Service faultless, food fabulous, and it’s a lovely Kentish pub. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tides cafe

Really nice people here who let me leave my pram during a swim lesson and then afterwards helped carry my order to my table as my hands were full. Cake was excellent and they have really nice chai lattes.

Swan Cafe & Restaurant

Excellent food, great service. Had the ‘Full [English] Breakfast’ for £9. Much cheaper and better than the nearby Leo Lounge, and also more of a working class and down-to-earth establishment. The tables are a bit small, but it didn’t really pose a problem. Would definitely recommend.

HatHats Coffee Faversham

Nice coffee and friendly staff.
This is a kiosk, not a cafe, so it's takeaway only. There are some outside seats, and this is pleasant during nice weather as you can look out across the Faversham Recreation Ground. But not so pleasant if it's wet and cold.

The best chips! Staff are friendly, prices are fair. Highly recommend supporting this local family business. The food is cooked fresh. Phone up and order for collection or walk in. Cash only.

Costa Coffee

The young lady, whose name is megan worked her socks off on saturday morning,as she was on her own from opening ,which i believe 07.30 until just about 10.00, the till and costa card machine were not working so it was cash only,and she is back on this morning (with help today) but also they have no oven on top of the till not taking cards still, i just think she deserves a pat on the back(at least) for the way she coped yesterday and still came back in this morning, which a lot of people would have gone sick!!!! She is a credit to your company.

The Leading Light - JD Wetherspoon

One of the nicest Weather Spoons I have been to. Really clean and tasteful interior and a pretty beer garden. The staff here and friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. First class service.
