You are greeted as soon as you step foot through the door and looked after all the same whether you are dining or just drinking. Dog friendly with roaring fires and cozy rooms. Good choice of beer and an excellent food menu.

33 Moor Ln, ClitheroeI have grown up with Bengal Masala for 34 years. I was so fortunate to be a young boy in the 90’s, and to have restaurant Dil Raj as a special food destination. The food was delicious, and the memories are cherished forever. I remember the switch over from DR to the Bengal Masala, as the owner moved business. We all know and love the resturaunt standard that has continued all these years.
The food has maintained a high excellence of taste, an amazing value for money to go hand in hand with generous portion sizes and is always an extreme pleasure. I remember my 10th birthday, choosing to go there, and I remember every weekend treat.
Bengal Masala is an institution. It is the most amazing food, cooked precisely, and proudly. After all these years, I still find myself trying new things on the menu, often finding amazing new dishes - the excitement it conjures at a weekend is always a highlight. It is hard to recommend anything in particular as it is so vastly delicious - I never limit myself when choosing , I always opt for multiple starters, and the chefs specials are on another level.
I recommend Bengal Masala to all my friends. All of my family and extended family use Bengal Masala. There is a reason for this.
The food is always amazing top quality, hot, packaged securely and conscientiously. Always on time whether collection or delivered.
I fear nobody leaves reviews because we have all grown to love and expect this amazing standard and feel the place needs no review or recommendation. I am guilty of this. But in this day and age all quality businesses need all the support they can get, especially institution food businesses.
I will always support and recommend Bengal Masala, and continue to shout from the rooftops how lucky we all are to have this amazing food and service.
From my heart and from my satisfied tummy. Trust my words and you will be rewarded - and you should also review.

Food was amazing and service was very friendly.
The location was great within the village, parking is on the street or co-op (pay and display).
It's quite an intimate venue, the way it's all set up in like booths so the atmosphere wasn't as good (when we visited) but I would highly recommend it.
We shall no doubt be using this place as a takeaway too

Mitton Rd, Whalley, ClitheroeWe arrived to a warm and friendly welcome by the lady on the desk and lovely man called Johnny who immediately made us feel welcome. We had friends with us and it had been a while since we had tried three fishes. The young lady on the bar Kelcie I think she was called made great cocktails and there we had a great waiter for the evening , but couldn’t remember his name. He was warm and made us feel relaxed, topping our wine and drinks throughout the evening . I had the tempera scallops and prawn , wow , beautiful flavours and Lamb . So so good , and you must try the chips ! Never had chips like it . Food, service ambience was great. It’s so hard to get good staff in the industry but for me , exceptional . Nice touch when Nigel came to the table at the end of the night . Big thanks to out fabulous waitress Kacie. Will be back next week .

We order the mixed starter for 2 which is enough for 4 people really. Their duck in plum sauce is simply gorgeous. Best for miles around and they deliver to our caravan in Clitheroe too. Fantastic!

My wife an I had lunch. The food we had was outstanding. I had tge steak pie from tge specials board my wife a fantastic cheese and apricot sandwich

Price very reasonable. A great place to eat before tackling tge Castle or after.

Station Rd, ClitheroeRain or shine there’s always a lovely warm welcome from the HorseBox. They have also started doing cakes and today I had the best brownie ever with my coffee. The children love the burgers and toasties. Always a great start to pottering around the market and shopping local.

We went for lunch having the veggie breakfast (beautiful presentation, halloumi with homemade baked beans absolutely stand out) lentil soup (of course homemade), sourdough with feta and avocado and the sweet potato hash (delicious, slightly well done). And then Atkinsons coffee! A winner all round for 20 yr olds, us in our 50s and mum in 80s! Thank you for having us!
