The Old Joiners Shop, Cross Ln, Ingleby Arncliffe, NorthallertonFood was fine and everyone was friendly, but it took 90 minutes from arrival to eat our meal - 1 hour from when our order was taken to food arriving, we were advised to expect 45 minutes, and we had to wait 20 minutes for the order to be taken because the waitress came to people strictly in the order she thought they arrived.
Far from ideal midpoint on a long hiking day - fellow hikers gloated that they'd got food from the motorway service station (before the incredibly dangerous road crossing scamper)

4 W End, Osmotherley, NorthallertonPerfect lunch stop after a lovely walk in Silton Woods. Worth having to search for a parking space! We had the ‘two soups’, cheese scone and cakes (fresh cream and strawberry, blueberry and vanilla). Every mouthful a delight, sorry got distracted after first spoon of soup to photo eg everything else). We will be back for ‘posh things on toast’ ! Super dog friendly too. Thank you!
