We booked for New Year’s Eve with family for food and entertainment. We arrived for 7.45 as the meal was booked for 8. We was sat down at 8.20 and was told we had 10 mins to order food. Last minute decision for a Birthday tea as our Hotel cancelled food that evening and we needed somewhere dog friendly to eat and we were certainly not disappointed. We had the calamari rings and whitebait as a starter and can honestly say they were best we have had then followed by the morney which again was delicious and perfectly cooked . 13 of us dined here last week, with our 2 dogs, who were made very welcome. We’d pre booked our table and were upstairs on the mezzanine. Our waiter was really helpful and very patient. The meals were amazing, piping hot and delicious. I had the mussels which were cooked to perfection. My partner thought the halibut to be the best he’d ever tasted. We all ordered different meals and nobody complained about the quality. Great value too. We’ll definitely return.
