Had a lovely meal here. We had game pie, prawn and fish pot plus desserts from the set price menu. The quality was excellent with good sized portions. The pub was decorated beautifully for Christmas and felt very welcoming. The manager was very pleasant and attentive. Everything is kept clean with an eye for detail. Definitely worth a visit.
10/10! The meal was unbelievable, we had the 2 courses for £20. Lamb and beef fell apart instantly. I asked for regular gravy instead of a minted one on the menu and this was changed by the waitress. Pudding was gorgeous, sticky toffee and crumble. Wine was reasonably priced and very smooth. One of the best meals i’ve had in a long time.

Great atmosphere staff very helpful and friendly. It's not a very big restaurant so it's better to book in advance, which is what we did.It's not a pub so you can't just nip in for a drink, which I believe the locals are upset about.The food was good and the portion sizes was good.
