2-4 Riverside, Felton, MorpethWe stopped for afternoon drinks and cake. Food and drinks were good but the only seating withdogs was outside. This in itself wouldn't have been an issue other than the wasps. To be fair the staff did warn us about the wasps and had placed wasp traps on the tables.
The chocolate cake was good and the fruit scone was reasonable.

Canny Cuppa
A1, MorpethHeading north on the A1 and googled nearby cafes. This was a sharp left turn just near where we were.
What a find! Lovely little spot, very friendly service, superb bacon and sausage butty, bottomless filter coffee.
10/10. Excellent in every way.

Nelson's at the Park
Pavilion, The Avenue, Swarland, MorpethOutdoors in play park & fields. Coffee takeaways for six all very good. Spent 2hrs there. Kids aged 5 wks to 66¾ yrs. All ended up blackberry picking & eating.
Lovely time, a great deal warmer than our last visit in February.

Eshott Airfield Cafe and Viewing Area
Eshott Airfield, Eshott Airfield, MorpethCracking little cafe exactly what you expect it's not exactly Michelin star food but it's pretty good & to be able to go feed the family and watch some planes taking off and landing is lovely & staff are welcoming and attentive - venue is nipping clean ? kids and us had a brilliant time watching the little planes - we enjoyed our food and enjoyed the trip out ??

The Cook & Barker Inn
Newton-on-the-Moor, MorpethQuite simply one of the best venues I have stayed at. The staff are friendly and highly professional. The service in the bar and restaurant is superb. The menu is unbelievable as is the quality of the food that is presented brilliantly. What more can I say.

Dobson Restaurant
Longhorsley, MorpethThe restaurant has a great vibe and the personnel is really attentive. Dinner was an overall great experience, starter to dessert and the drink I had was awesome! A couple of the dishes were a bit salty, and the duck confit ended up a little on the dry side, but nothing to put us off. The mash was of the best I have tasted, silky and tasty. The only way I can fairly describe the cheesecake is with the word superb. I would visit again.

Percy Wood Golf and Country Retreat
Leamington Ln, Swarland, MorpethI had a lovely 3 night stay with family on 30th May - 2nd June 2025. We stayed in lodge 26 Leaf Lane, the lodge was spotlessly clean through out, it had all the amenities that we needed and the hot tub was an added bonus. The site itself is really big, I understand why a lot of people use golf buggies to get around on, thankfully we cars to get around and go up to the restaurant. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I booked through Airbnb, host name Adam. The process was seamless and would definitely book to come again.

Linden Tree Pub

We were really worried about previous reviews and, to be fair to reviewers, when we first had a look at the Linden Tree ( we were staying in the hotel) we were told that 2 items were unavailable. We decided to 'risk' it and booked a table. So glad we did! The food and service were superb. We had 'nibbles: of mini scotch egg and sourdough with onion butter. Starters were whipped goats cheese and liver pate. Mains pork belly and fish of the day - hake. We have spent 40 years eating all over the world and, honestly, this meal was up there in the top 20. So I don't want to invalidate other reviewer's opinions but would suggest that you just go for it!

Crazy Horse Saloon n Grill

Thank you so much, Lauren went above and beyond for us, taking time to find a giant rainbow lollipop for my son when he was disappointed that they had sold out. Lauren was amazing, messaging to source one and have it delivered ? , all the food we have ate here has been fantastic, and a brilliant atmosphere at bingo! Massive thank you to all staff it is definitely worth a visit ?❤️
