Andreou's Bistro

So good we have asked to have our wedding there! see below for latest!!

Pamela and I have lived together for over 20 years. At the end of 2024 we decided to get married. It's best not to rush these decisions! We popped in to Andreou's Bistro to celebrate the decision. When there we both thought it would be a great place to have our wedding.

On our next visit we mentioned this to one of the staff and she arranged for us to have a chat with Andy. Everything was agreed and on 9 July we were married there.

The weather was fabulous so we were married outside in the private beer garden.

Afterwards we had exclusive use of the main restaurant. The food was outstanding - as it always is.

The staff could not have been more attentive and absolutely everyone had a great time. The day could not have been better.

I cannot rate Andreou's Bistro high enough - truly wonderful.

Great find. We had been here years ago and were very pleased it was still open. Great, friendly service. Nice choice and good sized morning rolls. Reasonable price too. We will 100% be back ?

Imrie's Bar & Grill

A quaint restaurant. Cajun chicken burger was very flavorful. Tomato and red pepper soup was spicy (and I like a lot of spice). Order at the bar. Server was very nice. Car park is in the back. We missed it and parked at the beach, which was fine.

Coast Bar & Restaurant

Excellent service this evening, food was great and good quality.
Good sized portions and excellent pudding choices.
Staff were friendly and the atmosphere great

Restaurant Royal Thai

First Time visiting the restaurant. Highly Recommend the Coconut Chicken Soup and Pad Thai. The Chef/Owner was very friendly and attentive. Hard working staff and a nice quaint environment. Very, very reasonable priced.

The Old Boatyard Restaurant- Fresh local seafood

My carer and I had High tea at the Old Boatyard tonight (19 January 2026). Unfortunately I choked on a piece of cauliflower which meant I had to abandon our meal to go to clear the offending piece of cauliflower. When we returned to the table our meals had been taken away. They were subsequently replaced with new meals.

Staff (especially Luka) were amazing. First class all the way.

Domino's Pizza - Arbroath

As I am housebound, I haven't seen inside Domino's. What I can say is the food is of the highest standard, above any other out there. The large pizza tastes just as fresh the next day too, The sides, desserts are all scrummy. Ì highly recommend eating from here. One meal does me 2 days and so it really is worth it.

New Beijing

Have tried all the Chinese in Arbroath and this is the best. I like a spicy curry and you get what you ask for. Quick delivery, friendly service, lovely food and all at a decent price. What more can you ask for. ??

Foodies Indian restaurant & takeaway

We sat in and my son had the junior munchy box which was a massive amount of food that even got shared with others afterwards. I had the chilli chicken kebab and couldn't recommend it more! it was delicious and I'll be back for it again! the flavour was sweet and the perfect amount of spice. The chicken was succulent and the bread was perfect. We also had the peri peri chips which was a good side to accompany the chilli chicken kebab. The size of the kebab was plenty to do 2 people I would say personally if your also having a side of chips. The milkshakes were absolutely delicious too.

The Steeple Famous Fish & Chips- Mayfield

Had fish supper & single white pudding & curry sauce. Everything was tasty & decent size portion, couldn't eat it all & thats unusual for me.

Marco's On The Shore

Very tasty fish with perfectly crisp batter, lovely chips and gorgeous curry sauce. All in all one of the best fish suppers and curry we've ever had, eaten overlooking the harbour.

The Bellrock Restaurant

Lovely Christmas Day buffet dinner. Lots to pick from, no pigs in blankets but unsure if that’s due to a religion reason. Roasties were just on the ever so slight cold side however all else was very nice. Lentil soup was very nice. Parents need to do better with small children in not allowing them to handle the buffet food, picking up with their hands and putting it back I feel is unacceptable. Atmosphere was ok, kids running around screaming maybe not so good, hot trays and plates of food being carried around constantly thankfully didn’t end up in an issue. Can’t fault the business of the staff, no food tray was ever empty and dirty plates quickly removed from tables. £50 head and BYOB. Thanks for having us.

What a utterly delicious joint. Ordered food and found it to mouthwatering. Fresh ingredients used and digged in to finish swiftly, then realised no pictures were taken. Price is sensible and atmosphere amazing too. Highly recommended. I'm hoping they will open more branches soon. It is included in the Must Visit category

Zee's Peri Peri Grill - Arbroath

We recently ordered the Jalapeno Poppers, Chicken Butterfly Meal with Peri Peri Chips and soft drink, and a Boneless Box with two soft drinks, and overall, the experience was great.
The delivery was quick, and the food arrived hot and fresh. The Jalapeno Poppers were crispy on the outside with a creamy, spicy filling that was absolutely delicious. The Chicken Butterfly was tender and well-seasoned, while the Peri Peri Chips added a perfect spicy kick. The Boneless Box was packed with juicy chicken pieces that were flavorful and satisfying. Soft drinks were chilled, pairing perfectly with the meal. A fantastic delivery experience that I’d recommend to anyone craving a hearty meal with a touch of spice.

Saffron Indian Cuisine

Ordered take away Shish Kebabs excellent service and much improved from our last order a few months back. The kebab meat was very tender, well cooked and the salad was just perfect. Thank You….so much better !

Azzurro Restaurant Pizzeria

Wow first time eating here and look forwrd to trying more of their Italian dishes when were here!! Kids all enjoyed their meals too. Very fresh and alll empty plates. Nice quiet setting lovely staff and flavourful food. Lasagna just ever so slightly overcooked but very tasty so look forward to having it again. Tried the other meals, i actually felt concerned as they looked bland at first but were all really good and run by really lovely staff :)

Webmor's Coffee Shop

Delightful place and well worth seeking out. Plenty of tables (although I think even then it could get full quickly, as it's so popular), the food is delicious and in good size portions. They do a great deal which is soup, sandwich and a tea or flat white for a great price. I had the creamy curried parsnip and it was one of the best soups I've ever had. Perhaps unfairly, we hadn't expected much from a café in Arbroath, but this place was excellent.

Had an amazing afternoon tea on Mother's Day. Excellent food, well presented. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

The Central Bar

Very good pub locals like to see newfaces ,not like aberdeen ,only went in for a pint ,but stayed a lot longer than I attended, had a very good night even met a guy Ronnie went to school with ,I'll definitely be going back

Was at the lorne bar Sunday evening and Lochnager was playing,atmosphere was brilliant and made my few days stay in Arbroath the best for ages so well done the Lorne staff.

Commercial Inn

This is a great pub a few yards from the harbour with nice staff and very nice clientele

Parking: Some parking on the street outside and plenty of parking spaces near by and a few car parks and some parking in the harbour car park

Station Bar

Station bar is great place to enjoy the evening. It can be quiet to play pool or when is live music event there it is buzzing place with very helpful and super friendly staff.Designated balcony for smoking have stunning view.

The Cafe @ Ashbrook Nursery

Love a good garden centre but always a bit disappointed with the plants in most. Ashbrook has the most beautiful healthy plants so beautifully arranged every time I visit. I always come away with more than intended. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable as well.

Lochlands Bar

This is a small old time public house with lots of atmosphere, there wanot a lot of people in the pub but there was a group of musicians playing Scottish music and they were great, they were not young and its sad to say this may be the last of this type of entertainment ..We had a great time and the service was really good . Not much of these places left .

Amazing place with amazing people, a centre bar with great bar staff, always smiling and always happy to help with queries and questions about Arbroath. Clientele are both young and older, great well stocked up to date jukebox and a pool table. Overall a fantastic experience.

I ordered and received my food within 15minutes!!! I have never had such a rapid response. Food was hot and was very good. I am now a regular customer. I phoned them to give them positive feedback. Thought they would like to hear some good news.

I enjoyed the staff service and welcoming atmosphere, reasonably good selection of drinks and I'd visit again. No food available here so a rating is not applicable.

The Corn Exchange - JD Wetherspoon

Food and drinks at very keen prices. One of the few businesses that actually cares about their customers. Food served all day. Free refills of tea and (decent) coffee. Order at the bar or if you don’t like queuing you can order from your table via their app.
