Cafe Seven

Popped in for a coffee and ended up having a very tasty scone served warm with butter and jam . Very welcoming and prompt service . Other diners were having lunch and that looked equally good . Very varied menu which was good value . Would definitely give it a try when back in the area

Andreou's Bistro

So good we have asked to have our wedding there! see below for latest!!

Pamela and I have lived together for over 20 years. At the end of 2024 we decided to get married. It's best not to rush these decisions! We popped in to Andreou's Bistro to celebrate the decision. When there we both thought it would be a great place to have our wedding.

On our next visit we mentioned this to one of the staff and she arranged for us to have a chat with Andy. Everything was agreed and on 9 July we were married there.

The weather was fabulous so we were married outside in the private beer garden.

Afterwards we had exclusive use of the main restaurant. The food was outstanding - as it always is.

The staff could not have been more attentive and absolutely everyone had a great time. The day could not have been better.

I cannot rate Andreou's Bistro high enough - truly wonderful.

The Old Boatyard Restaurant- Fresh local seafood

A little wary after reading recent reviews, but have been a few times, several years ago, without issues.\nService was prompt, friendly, not at all pushy; we spent almost two hours over a) soft drinks, b) 'light bite' type lunches and c) coffees; absolutely no sense of being rushed.\nI had the smokie fishcake on noodles. The noodles were a bit claggy, not particularly pleasant, but the fishcake was excellent. My friend had the chowder, which was excellent. Coffees fine. We split the bill which came to £15-ish each.\nDownside, table smallish, not great for enjoying the sea view. Slightly pricy for what was offered, but in truth you're paying for the table, setting, and somewhere to spend a couple of hours chatting with a friend, so we felt what we paid was very reasonable.

Imrie's Bar & Grill

A quaint restaurant. Cajun chicken burger was very flavorful. Tomato and red pepper soup was spicy (and I like a lot of spice). Order at the bar. Server was very nice. Car park is in the back. We missed it and parked at the beach, which was fine.

Restaurant Royal Thai

First Time visiting the restaurant. Highly Recommend the Coconut Chicken Soup and Pad Thai. The Chef/Owner was very friendly and attentive. Hard working staff and a nice quaint environment. Very, very reasonable priced.

New Beijing

Have tried all the Chinese in Arbroath and this is the best. I like a spicy curry and you get what you ask for. Quick delivery, friendly service, lovely food and all at a decent price. What more can you ask for. ??

Foodies Indian restaurant & takeaway

We sat in and my son had the junior munchy box which was a massive amount of food that even got shared with others afterwards. I had the chilli chicken kebab and couldn't recommend it more! it was delicious and I'll be back for it again! the flavour was sweet and the perfect amount of spice. The chicken was succulent and the bread was perfect. We also had the peri peri chips which was a good side to accompany the chilli chicken kebab. The size of the kebab was plenty to do 2 people I would say personally if your also having a side of chips. The milkshakes were absolutely delicious too.

KFC Arbroath - Westway Retail Park

This place has definitely gotten better over the past few months! Been a few times now and the food has always been hot and never missed anything off my order, very impressed

Coast Bar & Restaurant

Amazing food. Big group of 8 adults and 2 children and all food was served quickly and all hot and eating together. Food was lovely. We always visit when in the area staying with family and it did not disappoint.

Kid-friendliness: Children made welcome and small childrens menu to chose from.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible by wheelchair with slope to get in and all on 1 level with disabled toilet available.

The Steeple Famous Fish & Chips- Mayfield

Had fish supper & single white pudding & curry sauce. Everything was tasty & decent size portion, couldn't eat it all & thats unusual for me.

Marco's On The Shore

Might be the best fish and chips we've had! Very fresh, everything made to order, nothing sitting waiting in the heating pan. We had breaded haddock, battered haddock, haggis supper, fritters. All delicious. And the pizza was good too! We went back a few nights on our stay there!

The Bellrock Restaurant

Came here for dinner after having a day out in Arbroath. \nStaff friendly and welcoming and seated us at the window. \nPlace is a bit drab and could do with brightening up, feels a bit like a canteen.\nOrders taken quickly and a good choice on the menu, not just chippy items.\nBattered haddock portion size was really good for the price, the fish was good but the batter was a bit soggy in the middle however still enjoyable, kids had a pizza and a sausage supper which they enjoyed. We also got a portion of onion rings to share which were delicious.\nNo room for desserts this time but what they had on offer all sounded good and the ice cream sundaes looked good too. \nDefinitely not cheap but we enjoyed it and would return ?

used to come here very regularly and got along very well with the guys who run the place, I’m not going to lie and say I’ve never had better food but it is really nice especially for the price, the staff are great too, very friendly

What a utterly delicious joint. Ordered food and found it to mouthwatering. Fresh ingredients used and digged in to finish swiftly, then realised no pictures were taken. Price is sensible and atmosphere amazing too. Highly recommended. I'm hoping they will open more branches soon. It is included in the Must Visit category

Zee's Peri Peri Grill - Arbroath

We recently ordered the Jalapeno Poppers, Chicken Butterfly Meal with Peri Peri Chips and soft drink, and a Boneless Box with two soft drinks, and overall, the experience was great.
The delivery was quick, and the food arrived hot and fresh. The Jalapeno Poppers were crispy on the outside with a creamy, spicy filling that was absolutely delicious. The Chicken Butterfly was tender and well-seasoned, while the Peri Peri Chips added a perfect spicy kick. The Boneless Box was packed with juicy chicken pieces that were flavorful and satisfying. Soft drinks were chilled, pairing perfectly with the meal. A fantastic delivery experience that I’d recommend to anyone craving a hearty meal with a touch of spice.

First time we've had a takeaway from the saffron and I must say we weren't disappointed! Decent portions and very authentic tasting curries will be back soon

Webmor's Coffee Shop

Everything about this cafe was excellent. The food was perfect -- the curried parsnip soup one of the best soups I've ever had, & the paninis too were delicious, as was the chocolate cake. Others have commented on how hot the coffees were & I'd agree that they get the temperature just right here. The service was really good, too. All in all, faultless. Thanks for a really memorable lunch!

Had an amazing afternoon tea on Mother's Day. Excellent food, well presented. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

The Central Bar

Very good pub locals like to see newfaces ,not like aberdeen ,only went in for a pint ,but stayed a lot longer than I attended, had a very good night even met a guy Ronnie went to school with ,I'll definitely be going back

Lorne Bar

Was at the lorne bar Sunday evening and Lochnager was playing,atmosphere was brilliant and made my few days stay in Arbroath the best for ages so well done the Lorne staff.

Commercial Inn

This is a great pub a few yards from the harbour with nice staff and very nice clientele

Parking: Some parking on the street outside and plenty of parking spaces near by and a few car parks and some parking in the harbour car park

Station Bar

Station bar is great place to enjoy the evening. It can be quiet to play pool or when is live music event there it is buzzing place with very helpful and super friendly staff.Designated balcony for smoking have stunning view.

The Cafe @ Ashbrook Nursery

Love a good garden centre but always a bit disappointed with the plants in most. Ashbrook has the most beautiful healthy plants so beautifully arranged every time I visit. I always come away with more than intended. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable as well.

Lochlands Bar

This is a small old time public house with lots of atmosphere, there wanot a lot of people in the pub but there was a group of musicians playing Scottish music and they were great, they were not young and its sad to say this may be the last of this type of entertainment ..We had a great time and the service was really good . Not much of these places left .

Amazing place with amazing people, a centre bar with great bar staff, always smiling and always happy to help with queries and questions about Arbroath. Clientele are both young and older, great well stocked up to date jukebox and a pool table. Overall a fantastic experience.

Oriental City

I ordered and received my food within 15minutes!!! I have never had such a rapid response. Food was hot and was very good. I am now a regular customer. I phoned them to give them positive feedback. Thought they would like to hear some good news.
