The Bijou by the Sea

This is how you do lunch! We stopped here on a walk with our three dogs for some lunch. What a find, beautiful views, very helpful staff and stunning food with plenty to choose from. The cake blocks heated with ice cream wow just wow. Cannot praise the staff and food enough. If we are ever in the area I will be making sure this is a pit stop.

Castle Chinese Takeaway

First chinese we have tried in Moray and it was a good one. Tucked away in Cullen is the small shop which has friendly staff and flavourful food.
Food we tried:
Chicken and Sweetcorn soup was delicious and one of the best we have ever had.
The munchy box we got had lots to try and there was plenty of chicken.
We tried the curry and bbq sauce which we liked more than the sweet n sour.

One less star for food because for us chinese chips aren't thin and we like the prawn crackers not as hard but that is our preference.

The Heilan Coo

Highly recommend The Heilan Coo . They catered for us at a very busy football match , and despite having to feed hundreds of folk the food was very high quality and well cooked, and service was always with. smile . Would not hesitate in taking them back again, and if you haven’t tried their food yet , then you don’t k ow what you are missing !

Eat Mair Fish

This place is amazing. The only way you'll get fresher fish is if you go out and catch it yourself. The staff are lovely and there is lots of other local produce for sale in the shop. You also get discount if you buy over 1/2 stone and it's way cheaper and better than the trash the supermarkets flog.

Thistle Bar

Its a pub in buckIe town center! Good service, cheep drinks and good laughs. Don't expect some plastic plant gastro pub, this is a classic Scottish town bar for drinking.

Craigenroan Bar

Lovely place to stop for a pint on a walk or travelling through this beautiful placeOwner is a9 fabulous and friendly lady . And they have an OK pool team ...nae ad good as the marine but hey ?Jokes aside. Beautiful pub and even better views and staff

Fresh fish & all cooked to order! Some of the most delicious fish I have ever had!

Delicious food, great pricing & large portions. Although ordering close to closing time the staff were welcoming & friendly.

The Star Inn

So friendly and cosy pub all the staff would go above and beyond to make sure you were happy definitely go back again and our collie was treated with great amounts of gravy bones and big bowl of non alcoholic water ?

Pub In The Square

Great place for drinks and socializing, was hoping to eat, and though there isn't a kitchen, the lovely lady recommended the Bengal across the road, and it was amazing!

I love Dinos and get it all the time but tonight we ordered a pepperoni pizza and we ordered it just before they closed and they sent us a pepperoni pizza with one pepperoni on it ? dunno if they were pissed we ordered just before they closed or what lol we have good sense of humour so we thought it was funny someone else might not have ?

Sandisons Cafe Bar

Me and my OH stumbled on this restaurant last night. The service, food and decor is 5*. I had the halloumi burger which was amazing. My OH had the pit boss, who, despite being absolutely stuffed afterwards said "I could eat that again right now". We WILL be back!!

Drifters Fish & Chips

Had a few to feed tonight so thought we’d try Drifters again after a great experience 4 years ago. Food was easy to order online, we got there a bit early so could actually watch our food cooked fresh! Staff were lovely, friendly and efficient and you could see how popular the place is. Will definitely be back next time we’re back up this way and will definitely recommend to others as well!

Buckie Chinese takeaway

Growing up in New York, Chinese food was just as popular as pizza. We had the best pizza and best Chinese food ever and you can't convince me otherwise. This was some of the best Chinese I've ever had. Excellent flavor, quality ingredients. The chow mein is awesome. The Egg Foo Yung is Egg Foo Yum. Even the fortune cookies were so good. If I'm ever in town again, I'm trying some more of the food here. Thanks for the delicious dinner :)

China Town Restaurant

It was a wee cold evening on a Friday when we decided to dine in at China Town. We had a lovely meal of 4 different dishes. They were generous serving sizes, well priced a d delicious! Highly recommend the chilli honey chicken with the dry special fried rice. Cash only wasn't a problem as there was a cash machine across the road!

The Fry Inn

First time here in Buckies Fry Inn, sit in meal for us all, super tasty, the fish scores a nine, almost a 10 on my score, the chips not quite hitting the spot... I ate the lot though 8 out of 10 on my score.

I've had difficulty calling in the past, so I messaged them.
I told them of my issue and I'd be placing a large order.
They told me to call straight away, out of opening hours and they'd take my order.

Use regularly, staff very friendly even when busy, meals/food always very good, competitively priced.Parking: Parking outside shop, on main street, can sometimes be quite busy.

Old Coach House Hotel

This hotel is very well located, 400 meters from the sea and in the center of Buckie. It's a budget hotel, the rooms are very clean and have all the essentials. The owners are very friendly. If you're looking for a decent, clean place to spend a few days, with a certain amount of comfort, this could be a good choice, especially at a low cost. It has parking and there are places to buy takeaway food nearby. For me, it's an affordable and good enough option for traveling between Inverness and Aberdeen and around.
