Greshornish House Hotel, Edinbane, PortreeLovely discreet hotel down a quiet route on Skye - traditional well kept with lawned gardens and a great stay transiting to Harris. Staff( especially the girl from Birmingham ) were very friendly and helpful - lovely tasty evening meal served follow by a varied breakfast the next morning : expensive room was a bit small and hot over the kitchen : surprise was a golden pheasant walking past the breakfast room window !

Edinbane Lodge
Old Dunvegan Road, EdinbaneMy best friend and I got the tasting menu and were totally blissed out. Chef Calum Montgomery is so incredibly talented, creating dishes that speak to memories and soul experiences through food. Inventive, moving and inspiring-I recommend the tasting menu. That scallop will follow me for the rest of my life. Every dish was executed well, showing the thought that went into each one. I really can’t wait to come back!
