Unit 4 The Square, Balmacara, KyleLove this place when I come up to visit my wee grandma, its just at the bottom of her road. The owner is lovely and so caring of the regulars, makes me happy to know my grandma has a lovely place like this to socialise and enjoy

30 Harbour St, PlocktonWe had a great lunch here by chance while waiting for our highland cow tour. Their steak and ale pie is a proper pie with a pastry case and it comes with a sauce that elevates it to the point that I am now worried that I have tasted the apex of the dish and from here in out every steak pie will be a disappointment that it isn't the one I had at Shores.Definitely worth the stop if you are around Skye, or before or after your highland cow tour at the Croft Cafe in Duirinish

The Harbour Fish Bar
1 Innes St, PlocktonOn 15.9.23 I had haddock and chips and my wife had fish cake and chips.Everything was freshly cooked to order and tasted delicious. We also ordered a sausage for our dog Dolly. The ladies that served us asked if it was for a dog and they gave us a carton full of sausage on the house. The ladies who served us were really friendly and cheerful.
