A local recommended the Beehive tilt White Hart (two doors down) for a nearby pub "experience." We chose the Beehive because we saw more options of food that weren't so out-of-the-usual for our unadventurous pallets. (Although I've heard fried haggis balls are pretty good.) First time in Edinburgh and very nice it was! This place was amazing, the vibe was incredible, something I don't experience every day. The food was very good, and a big plate for the price. The drinks were also good and a very good variety, including beer, ciders and other drinks. We came at a time were the Inn was full, but we got a table, we had to order at the bar that was in another room that the "restaurant" part. I write this review as I’m sitting in the Beehive Inn having just eaten a very nice steak and ale pie, in fact my partner has eaten the the same and she said how great it was. The sweet has now arrived which we both enjoyed as much as the main, I had apple pie and custard, my partner enjoyed a chocolate torte with ice cream.
