Pretty good place, food is definitely worthwhile. Quiet, pleasant, no trouble and well worth a visit.Only really brought down a bit by the smug, soulless, clientele who make up a significant proportion of the customers.
Came in expecting pub chain feel. Very pleasantly surprised to be met with outstanding cask beer and rare accompanying generous nod to decent craft keg. Big lovely whisky list (prices please!) helpfully split by main regions. Gentle welcome and fabulous Scottish hospitality. As others have rightly said food- seafood in particular- is outstanding value. The fresh herring reminds me of Norway. Well done. Lovely pub!

First time we've been in when the place wasn't packed, but still comfortably busy. Shared a fish and chips and a few pints. Nice, comfy place when it is wet, cold and windy outside.
