Hot and tasty. You have to try the cakes ? Ask for an extra hot latte and you get an extra hot latte. Great staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Masonic Arms
10 Ann St, Gatehouse of Fleet, Castle DouglasWe visited Gatehouse of Fleet and decided to head to the Masonic Arms for the Sunday cavery.
And what a great choice we made. Staff, service, and the food were great. There was plenty of choice at the carvery with upto five different meats available ( and you can try them all ) along with a good selection of vegetables and accompanying sauces and gravy. All you can eat, so head up as many times as you like. Great value. Nice light spacious dining area that leads out to a decent sized beer garden. I cannot recommend enough, and definitely will be back. The deserts were delicious, I'm actually surprised I had room to eat a desert after having two lunches.?

Mill On The Fleet
High St, Gatehouse of Fleet, Castle DouglasMy family held the wake for my father at the Cafe on The Mill in June 2025. Rosie and Barnie were generous, supportive hosts and created a very welcoming atmosphere. The venue was perfect, accommodating a crowd of around 100 people. The food was excellent. It's such a picturesque spot, by the river. Every time I've been to the cafe since, it's been a pleasure to see it thriving. What an asset to the community. Big thanks to all the Mill from the Turnbull family.

Bank of Fleet Hotel
47 High St, Gatehouse of Fleet, Castle DouglasSuper hotel/bar and very friendly Value for money and superb breakfast Staff friendly and helpful Enjoyed our stay for the 3rd time. Location is excellent for Galloway forest. Parking easily found on street usually outside the enterance door.
