62 Frome Rd, RadstockI stayed one night for a diving course at Vobster Quay. The Fromeway is at a very good location about 10 miles from VQ. Room was very clean and modern and quiet at night. Food was also very good at the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful and got up early to make me breakfast at 7am ahead of my course in the morning! 15-16, Holly Court, High St, Midsomer Norton, RadstockOrdered takeaway here for the first time and oh my goodness, I am glad we did because this was the best Indian food I have ever tasted. Everything from the curries to the sides were perfect, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. They even helped by recommending a curry (which was delicious). Order food from here, you won't regret it!

Broadway, Chilcompton, RadstockLoved our meal here, food was excellent, we had starters mains and son had a pudding everything was tasty good portions and piping hot, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all really friendly and our dog was more than welcomed he loved all the fuss. 1 Frome Rd, RadstockOrdered pre-prepared Christmas dinners for our family this year and they were amazing!
The food was prepared perfectly, very tasty and filling - a real property Christmas dinner - and they even included some crackers! Everything packaged up nicely with easy to follow instructions and the portion sizes were very generous. All we had to do was reheat and dish up.
Saved us so much money and time - I can't recommend it enough!

5 The St, RadstockPretty good Italian food. Our teenagers thought the pizzas were excellent and I thought the pasta was great. Very tasty food and good portion sizes... Although a little on the pricey side.
Service was efficient.
They only downside was they didn't have any Diet Coke and the regular coke we got was very flat and watery (worst restaurant coke I've ever had).

The Redan Inn
Fry's Wl, Chilcompton, RadstockWe stayed at the Redan Inn as a base for our two day trip to Bath. The inn is about 30 minutes drive from the centre of Bath which was very convenient and worked for us. We stayed in the room at the top of the inn which was large and spacious with a beautiful bathroom - a lovely freestanding bath and double width shower. The room was clean and comfortable and the beds were soft - we had a good night’s sleep. The breakfast choice is good and cooked fresh to order which was great in the morning. We also had dinner here on one night and were very impressed with the quality of the food - for a very reasonable price! The second night we tried a different restaurant and were very disappointed in comparison with the food at the Redan. The pork belly and the Eton Mess gets a particular shout out! All the staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly. There is a lovely outdoor space to eat and drink in when the weather permits, with fairy lighting which is lovely in the summer. The parking is right behind the inn which was very convenient and felt more secure than roadside parking. Would 100% recommend and will be returning - thank you!

Underhill, Coleford, RadstockWe broke down in Coleford after a swim at Vobster and the landlord allowed us to use the wood and gave us a drink even though they weren’t quite open. This is a fab business with awesome people at the helm. It’s in a beautiful spot and the beer is cheaper than Frome nearby. Glad we found it.

110 High St, Midsomer Norton, RadstockFantastic saving of the old Palladium in Midsomer Norton into a flagship Wetherspoons. Still shows the heritage of the old cinema and to the local town. Nice booths and high stools near the bar and lots of hidden snug areas. Large garden area too.

41-42 High St, Midsomer Norton, RadstockI went here and it was amazing. The chips are brilliant but there are also plenty of meals available. I had a burger and it was great. Even if you don’t like chips there will be something here for you. So many vegan options as well so would totally recommend for vegans. Also quick delivery.

Welton Rd, RadstockWent down a couple of times, lovely pub with a great potential Will and Chanelle are very welcoming . It will be an amazing pub when it’s done up . New owners have taken over can’t wait to see what it will be like after revamp . Will be back soon .

7A Coomb End, RadstockVisiting this area on holiday, found this establishment just passing on the main road into Radstock. Excellent service, friendly staff. We had the cod and chips good size pieces of fish and large portions of chips, absolutely delicious. Would return if in the area again.

Brookhouse Bungalow, 112 High St, Midsomer Norton, RadstockWe tried several meals as you can see in the photos. First of all, I would like to start with chicken kebab, which was very juicy and spicy. Chicken wrap was also very good with the fresh salad and sauce.My cheeseburger had a juicy meat which I liked very much. The staff were very accommodating and also very quick. So I can highly recommend it!

A37, Radstockvisited here today 4th March 2025 on the way back from cheddar. ordered a ciabatta which come with fries and salad. I must say it was absolutely beautiful and would definitely be back and recommend friends and family. 5* from me and my wife.

We sadly moved away to Shepton so don’t come here anymore but had to stay over in Norton so decided to get a Chinese from Jackie Chan’s, everything was very nice except they’ve changed the wonton recipe and it wasn’t good ? very sad it’s changed as it was my favourite thing to order, the wontons were very dry and fishy tasting, they used to be the best thing on the menu. But never mind, next time I will try their dumplings as they look really good.
