20 Market St, LlangollenAnother great evening at Liberty Tavern & Wine Bar. You couldn’t want for a better place for an evening out. Imagine, just the right amount of background music with a warm and friendly atmosphere topped with delicious small food plates, you just can’t go wrong. The tiramisu was amazing. Needless to say the service and hospitality was outstanding! you’d be mad to go anywhere else! Plus it’s dog friendly ? Even had a hug from Billy the owner.

Riverbanc Cafe & Hotel
Bridge St, LlangollenDuring our 4 nights in Llangolen we ate here breakfast every morning. The food, the stuff and the setting on the balcony on the river was simply the best.

5 Abbey Rd, LlangollenReally great breakfast spot. Food was excellent; staff were friendly, accomodating and served me very quickly.
Great value too at a big brekky for only 7.50. I didn't fancy sitting inside so just walked outside down to the train tracks where there was a nice spot with tables to sit at, really nice views.
Bonus points for all recyclable takeaway packaging and utensils ❤️

Sun Bank, LlangollenNo frills, great portions, tasty pub grub.
Steak pie was fantastic, loaded with big chunks of melt in the mouth Welsh beef, fabulous gravy and a top and bottom soggy pastry, perfect.
Served only with chips and peas, as are most dishes but that suited me fine.
Friendly staff, too full for dessert but they all sounded great. Very good value.

The Corn Mill
Dee Ln, LlangollenVisited Llangollen today and thought we would have lunch at the Corn Mill. They found the 7 of us a table no problems and although there was a slight wait for food, when it arrived it was definitely worth it. The service was great and the food was delicious and we can recommend the beef and ale pie.
We will be returning again soon.

Courtyard Coffee Shop
Castle St, LlangollenHad a gluten free breakfast which was absolutely. I decided to buy an egg mayonnaise sandwich for the journey back home to Hampshire and all I can say is WOW! It’s the best gluten free egg mayonnaise sandwich I have had since becoming intolerant to gluten 10 out of 10. Can’t wait to try my scones ?. Staff were very polite and helpful. The photo shows half the sandwich. Very impressed. Wish this place was nearer.

7 Bridge St, LlangollenFirst time visiting for myself and my partner. We had a panini and salmon with avacado wrap both come with fries and salad. Absolutely beautiful food. Cooked fresh, good portion sizes. Staff were lovely. Small but friendly eatery. Will definitely visit again. ?

Cottage Tearooms & Bistro
5 Castle St, Square, LlangollenI really wanted to come on and review this place. I visited today on my route walking through Llangollen so I am by no means a regular customer, but I was made to feel like I was. The serving staff all treated me like I was their number one priority while treating everyone else the same. I can't fault it! They were all on the ball.
The food was also lovely, I had a BLT and it arrived within 10 mins of ordering it. Salad was fresh, the bacon was what I would call thick! Hope I can come back in the future!

Meat and potato squares were smashing as were the sausage rolls .

Prince Of Wales
Regent St, LlangollenThe rooms are self check in which we really like. The rooms themselves are clean and modern and have tea making facilities. The price was very reasonable, but what made it for us was, we'd ordered a takeaway for collection, and the bar lady in the pub we were in, rang ahead to her friend who worked in the Prince of Wales and when we got back there were paper plates, cutlery and serviettes waiting for us. Thank you, that was so appreciated ?

4 Market St, LlangollenWhat a wonderful surprise little coffee shop tucked away at the end of a busy road of shops/cafes. We visited yesterday, bank holiday Monday & it was raining, so of course lots of places were fully booked bustling with people.
We were welcomed warmly & we could see several tables to
choose from.
We ordered beans on toast, well done bacon & sausage bap & 2 drinks. The food came quickly and was delicious! Home from home - just as we like it! We felt for less than £20 this was a bargain!
We had our 4yr old with us & she was made to feel very welcome too, by the lady on the counter.
The only reason I have marked 4 star for atmosphere is due to it being a bit tight for the tables & no toilets. There are public toilets opposite for 40p which are well looked after which we used.
We would've definitely returned here if we were staying longer.

Deeside Cafe Bistro

I decided i would try the Dee Side Cafe.
I am old fashioned and pay by CASH, which is great the Dee Side Cafe still accepts cash payments.
Staff - Very friendly and polite and helpful.
Interior - clean and couldn't find any problems where i was sat.
Toilets - Clean / tidy.
Food - Fully enjoyed and i couldn't find nothing wrong with my starter or main course.
Price - I would say that the Dee Side Cafe prices were about right for the drinks and food. (I know people might want things cheaper). But to me the prices were just fine.
If i was to score out of 10, 1 being rubbish and no good and 10 being the best score.
My overall score for my experience on Friday 25th July 2025 would be a solid 8.5 to 9..
Dee Side Cafe,, thank you for a lovely meal and thank you to your staff for them being polite, friendly and helpful.
I hope to return to enjoy another meal.

Aydin’s traditional fish & chips Llangollen
24 Regent St, LlangollenWe cycled here from our campsite, both fish & chips cooked fresh for us, we then sat outside to eat. Lovely people and service.
For visitors, well worth the few minutes walk - up the high street, pass spar on right, turn left at lights, chippy on right before the co-op.
Definitely highly recommend!

15 Chapel St, LlangollenStunning! Absolutely stunning! We arrived late on a Sunday evening and were greeted like old friends. I ordered lamb and Michelle chose two small veggie plates. Wow!! - we said at the same time. One of the very best meals ever. A little shout out to Will and Sandra but huge thanks to the chefs. Visit Llangollen - Visit Chapel St.

36 Regent St, LlangollenOrdered a chicken biryani with the veg curry sauce, it was perfectly cooked the chicken was tender not dry or tough, nicely seasoned, received a generous portion and was still hot when I got it home. Best curry I’ve had for a while
