20 Market St, LlangollenAnother great evening at Liberty Tavern & Wine Bar. You couldn’t want for a better place for an evening out. Imagine, just the right amount of background music with a warm and friendly atmosphere topped with delicious small food plates, you just can’t go wrong. The tiramisu was amazing. Needless to say the service and hospitality was outstanding! you’d be mad to go anywhere else! Plus it’s dog friendly ? Even had a hug from Billy the owner.

Bridge St, LlangollenDuring our 4 nights in Llangolen we ate here breakfast every morning. The food, the stuff and the setting on the balcony on the river was simply the best.

5 Abbey Rd, LlangollenReally great breakfast spot. Food was excellent; staff were friendly, accomodating and served me very quickly.
Great value too at a big brekky for only 7.50. I didn't fancy sitting inside so just walked outside down to the train tracks where there was a nice spot with tables to sit at, really nice views.
Bonus points for all recyclable takeaway packaging and utensils ❤️

Castle St, LlangollenWhat a great little find this cafe was, out the way of the main street, dog friendly, under shelter and away from the wind and drizzle.
With a great choice and quality produce made for an excellent breakfast.
The dogs also agreed that the food was yummy ?

?Food: middle of the road, portions are fair. Had a mid sized breakfast split between two people and a portion of brownies with chamomile tea. The breakfast was very standard - egg, toast, beans, sausages, bacon. It was okay. Tea was nice, but the cup it came with was not fully washed? Still had spots/stains from whatever the previous drink was. The sugar dispenser is probably the worst thing as it was almost empty and it was impossible to get more than a lick of sugar out of it per shake. Like I got more sand in my kidneys than there was sugar per shake
?♂️Service: it's... Okay? You go in, order food, they bring it to you and leave you alone. That's okay by me, don't like waiters checking in on how things are until I'm visibly done eating
?Atmosphere: a bit loud, but we came here on a weekend so a lot of people with kids and dogs come about as well plus music playing. I don't mind it, standard cafe noise. What icked me also was the cleanliness of the toilets. Toilets themselves are okay, but. Random things lying about in the stalls and one stall missing toilet paper is an oof for me personally. Some of the interior needs redoing as there was wobbly tables, scraped wooden floors, food stains and what not around
All it all, I think you're better off going to Fuzies or river dee cafe as it's less or equally expensive but cleaner and friendlier experience ✌️

Dee Ln, LlangollenBooked a table online a few days before,which I'm glad we did as was very busy on a Friday afternoon but you can see why as this pub is stunning!! We drove from Birmingham to a National Trust property & came here for lunch,it was totally worth the 1hr 40min drive. Great menu & lots of gluten free options. Great prices for a pint,friendly staff. But the pièce de résistance was the beautiful setting of this lovely pub over looking the River Dee,listening to the water & enjoying the sunshine. The best view I've had whilst eating my lunch. You can even take your four legged friends with you. Will definitely recommend & return,my husband didn't want to leave ?? Thank you

7 Bridge St, LlangollenWe walked in on a Friday evening and were seated straight away. Good atmosphere - enough people in and eating but quiet enough for us to talk! We received great service- friendly and efficient. Great menu- we went for a veggie pizza , leek and mushroom risotto, onion rings and chunky chips! YUM! No left overs. Also, the loo that caters for all genders was beautiful- not a term that I would normally use to describe a loo!!! A great addition to the Bistro! Thank you for a great evening!

I visited today on my route walking through Llangollen so I am by no means a regular customer, but I was made to feel like I was. The serving staff all treated me like I was their number one priority while treating everyone else the same. I can't fault it! They were all on the ball.
The food was also lovely, I had a BLT and it arrived within 10 mins of ordering it. Salad was fresh, the bacon was what I would call thick! Hope I can come back in the future!

Regent St, LlangollenThe rooms are self check in which we really like. The rooms themselves are clean and modern and have tea making facilities. The price was very reasonable, but what made it for us was, we'd ordered a takeaway for collection, and the bar lady in the pub we were in, rang ahead to her friend who worked in the Prince of Wales and when we got back there were paper plates, cutlery and serviettes waiting for us. Thank you, that was so appreciated ?

4 Market St, LlangollenWhat a wonderful surprise little coffee shop tucked away at the end of a busy road of shops/cafes. We visited yesterday, bank holiday Monday & it was raining, so of course lots of places were fully booked bustling with people.
We were welcomed warmly & we could see several tables to
choose from.
We ordered beans on toast, well done bacon & sausage bap & 2 drinks. The food came quickly and was delicious! Home from home - just as we like it! We felt for less than £20 this was a bargain!
We had our 4yr old with us & she was made to feel very welcome too, by the lady on the counter.
The only reason I have marked 4 star for atmosphere is due to it being a bit tight for the tables & no toilets. There are public toilets opposite for 40p which are well looked after which we used.
We would've definitely returned here if we were staying longer.

New Rd, Trevor, LlangollenLovely pub near to the scenic Pontcysyllte aquaduct, luckily got meal paid for by the canal boat staff (won't say why lol) but enjoyed the meal, good portion sizes and all, old pub liek got a lot of character, plus great landlady+staff, one of the best pubs I've been in, done well for being in Gog- land (aka North Wales?), idk about everyone else but all of us seemed to enjoy it and cheered us up after a stressful evening. 10/10 would recomend and would visit again if we're ever in the area (I'm only 19 so wouldn't go on me own haha), don't usually do reviews but had to do one on this fantastic public house :)
