We visited for the first time today having been recommended by a friend and we weren't disappointed.

We were made to feel very welcome, the staff were very attentive and friendly without being overbearing and the food was truly excellent with very generous portions.We knew it was going to be good as soon as we tasted the onion salad that we had with our poppadoms!! I mean, you'd think it was just onions, right?......

We were very full at the end and almost took as much away with us afterwards as we actually ate.

I would not hesitate to recommend and we will definitely be back

I am married to a vegan and their menu is fantastic for Vegan and non vegan alike, besides good food at reasonable prices the atmosphere is great and you get great service by wonderful people such as Gill and Ryan!Vegetarian options: lots of Vegetarian and vegan options, my wife says the Vegan burger is the second best she has had followed only by her own.

One of the nicest Nandos I've been to. Think the manager seated and took our order (blonde woman). Food was super quick and hot. The only negative which was dealt with by the same manager was a young Asian lad who came out of the toilet stall, splashed his finger tips for 1 whole second and walked out. I followed so to see if he was working there and he was a server. Can't believe people think it's acceptable to not wash their hands in this day and age. This guy has poor hygiene skills and wasn't brought up correctly. I said to the manager what I'd witnessed and he is not to go near my food or anywhere near my table.

Having recently visited The Snooty Fox, I can't recommend it enough. The atmosphere is brilliant—it’s everything a great local pub should be: warm, welcoming, and full of life.
The food is absolutely lovely. I had a meal that was not only delicious but also fantastic value for money. It's clear that they put a lot of care into their menu, and it really pays off in the quality of the dishes.
I was also lucky enough to catch the Sporting Death Week team on a Monday evening. What a brilliant bunch of lads! It was fantastic to see the pub supporting local teams and creating such a fun community event. The team running it was great, and it really added to the already excellent experience.
Whether you're looking for a great meal, a lively atmosphere, or just a pint with friends, The Snooty Fox delivers. I'll definitely be back!

Only downside was the gravy, the flavour was there but not the viscosity. Southern chefs seem to be afraid of thickening.

I have visited this establishment on a few occasions now and I have always received fantastic service and great food. I have found a new love for chicken schnitzel! The sauce it comes with is so tasty that I was having to fight off my friend for it! (I lost but lets not get into that) Every meal i have had here has honestly been delicious and well priced. They have a great outdoor area too which is perfect for the summer. Curious Pig in the Parlour

This is the second time we have spent a night at the curious pig and we will 100% be coming back!

The staff were so welcoming and helpful and the rooms were cosy with a very comfortable bed!
The only improvement i would suggest is that the rooms could do with a little TLC in terms of a lick of paint where there are signs of wear and tear.

We also stayed for breakfast in the morning and this was delicious! Great value for money and again, the staff were very attentive and accommodating.

I would definitely recommend staying here/recommending this pub for good food and a lovely atmosphere.

It's a standard Italian style restaurant. Great offers on kids food and adults also. I like the style or decor the place has to offer.
The only thing I can say that would be the downfall is going on a term day when kids eat free as it becomes very busy and very quickly which slows the whole process. I will say on these days the staff have it harder than most but will be very attentive still.

Parking: It's on the old high street so search parking areas first before going.

Kid-friendliness: Fine for kids and families.

Wheelchair accessibility: Access is good.

I have tried the big players in the pizza game for many years but none compare to the mighty slice box! I Have found that in the past cheese was dished out on a pizza like its going out of fashion, lashings of the yellow stuff complimented by a generous helping of toppings, just how I like it. It seems since the cost of living has gone up all these delicious toppings have been slashed to a shadow of their former selves, which leaves the J, a grumpy boy. In steps slice box, they're having none of that, now I don't know if the owner is a billionaire tycoon or just a rebel who's going against the grain, but mr Slice knows what the people want and he's not afraid to dish out both the cheese and toppings in the bucket load. The man is a legend, delivering quality pizza, hot and on time for £25 for two XL pizzas. If your hungry, like pizza made the old school way and appreciate top notch service get on the phone order one up and bathe in the glory that is a slice box pizza.

Absolutely incredible customer service. We visited early in the morning and the waiter Fabio was incredible. To be completely honest my first choice was wetherspoons but their staff there did not seem to be educated in food allergies or Wetherspoons do not seem to value them as customers. Facing it was Giraffe and I was apprehensive about eating there as I had never eaten at one before. They made us feel valued and cared about my son's allergies and even had a tablet with ingredients that trigger the allergies. Flavio was awesome he helped my 11 years son with what meals was available to him and even had time to come back during the meals to see how my son was getting on and want anything else. The garden had a few people in and is a bit of an afternoon/ early evening sun trap but it's let down as grass has been replaced with stones. Rear bar is very dark and dingy with lots of empty space as only a few tables dotted around. Front bar is a bit better but even with only a few people in gets noisy due to a lack of soft furnishings. Staff are friendly welcoming and to be fair a little apologetic as it currently seems to be new owners and a work in progress, may be one to watch when they have a kitchen, but a little on the pricey side for the location.

It was my first time at pop inn cafe. I was waiting on someone visiting hospital nearby. The service was very good (it's table service by the way) and the lady serving was very polite. I ordered a tuna melt panini and americano. I chose chips instead of salad. The food was served very promptly and was of good quality. Chips were crisp and Panini was toasted well. It was very tasty. The coffee was excellent. Much better than Starbucks and Costa etc. The cafe is just that. A cafe. So don't expect an amazing atmosphere. Nice boozer in Crawley town center lovely for wether you having a quick pint or a good night with mates regardless prices fairly midmarket if your looking for a quiet drink spoons is over the road but for atmosphere and quality pints and great ambiance thos may just be the place for you. The team are always there too help any way they can and do it with a smile and confidence karaoke night is the best time too go usually a Friday or Saturday evening but however u want too enjoy the day a cold pint in a lovely beer garden is the best way too go about it and this is the place too goto can't fault anything haven't eaten here so can't comment on the menu but ales are top notch

Afternoon Tea at Alexander House Hotel

We had a gift voucher for afternoon tea and decided that even though we only stayed here about 10 days ago, we wanted to try their Christmas themed afternoon tea. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and we were shown to a lovely table near the fireplace straight away despite being half an hour early. The room is warm and inviting with a view out onto the lawn. The menu was explained, and our order was taken quickly and delivered promptly too. The sandwiches were first rate, fresh bread with very tasty fillings and a lovely warm sausage roll. The drinks were replenished throughout our visit. The sweet treats were divine, the star being the Eggnog & Cherry Egg Custard Tart Bauble and the Chocolate and Peppermint Santas Hat, seriously, it was like Christmas in cake form, absolutely delicious! This was followed by two enormous scones each, one plain and one cherry, with oodles of clotted cream and jam, we had to take 3 home with us as by the time we got to them we were beaten. This was definitely one of the nicest afternoon teas we have had and we will definitely come again in the summer to try the non Christmas menu.

This small, family run Portuguese spot is easy to miss but you shouldn’t. The menu is packed with hearty, home style dishes and cold Portuguese beer. But what really sets this place apart is the people, they serve with their hearts. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family, whether it’s your first visit or your tenth.

It’s not fine dining, and it’s not trying to be. There may be a hiccup or two, but the food makes up for it. Come hungry, be patient, and enjoy some of the best honest Portuguese grub around. You’ll leave with a belly full and a heart even fuller.

I came in the store today with my wife, my oldest son (6y) and my youngest (1y). Had to use the disabled toilet to change my youngest. Unfortunately when I opened the changing table was full of tobacco, weed traces and left overs from whoever use it…
My suggestion, please lock at least this room and let people who really need to, use it.

Personally a fan of the food at Harvester, for me the team @ The Hawth are probably one of the best I have been served by.

Very friendly and professional. The food is great, Skewers, Steaks, Burgers, but also caters to Vegetarians and Vegans.

There is a bar area for those who want to eat and drink without needed to sit in the restaurant.

Parking: Parking is shared with a hotel. Need to enter your Reg to avoid fines. 3 hour free stay if eating @ Harvester.

I think Al Nadeem will become our favourite takeaway.We tried this takeaway for the first time tonight. We were very impressed, the food exceeded our expectations and was delivered hot. I had lamb Shish kebab, it was delicious and unlike some lamb shish I’ve had the misfortune to try, it wasn’t chewy. My partner had a Lamb, Doner kebab and throughly enjoyed it.I noted that their menu is extensive and covers curry, kebabs and burgers and I love the fact that we have a one stop takeaway so close and can order different types of food.

Great roadside cafe
I stopped off here on my way to pick up my dad from Gatwick. I was early and had seen this place before but had never stopped. There was plenty of parking in the lay-by. This place has a steady flow of customers, and I'm not surprised now that I've been here.
You certainly get great value for your money. For breakfast rolls, you're offered a choice of soft, crusty, or French rolls.
I ordered a sausage and egg roll with a cup of tea. I hadn't realized, but the roll had three sausages and two eggs inside! It was too much for me, but I'm quite sure the workmen who were queuing up enjoy their morning rolls. After paying, you're also given a complimentary KitKat!
It's well worth a visit if you're hungry.??
