Shake Shack Gatwick

The food was fresh and tasty. They have guys running around the tables cleaning and taking away trays to make space for new customers. Highly recommended.

British Airways Lounge
Perimeter Rd E, Horley, GatwickLuggage went missing on the return flight but the BA team on the ground were helpful when we landed. The world tracker system was a little frustrating as it didn't provide much information until the bag was with the courier (4 days later). Once the bag was with the courier the communication improved but I think there should be more initial communication / reassurance for customers with missing bags.

Thyme Restaurant at Premier Inn North Terminal Gatwick Airport
Northway, Horley, GatwickI had an excellent dinner at this restaurant while on an overnight layover at Gatwick Airport.
I ordered a side of Tarka Dall and Saag Paneer (a dish I fell in love with while travelling in India) and a main course of Butter Chicken with a garlic naan. I noticed on a review that the restaurant allows you to bring your own alcohol (BYOB) so I purchased a couple of beers from the Asda express nearby. The food was absolutely delicious and went down well with my beers. The seating area was comfortable and warm with a nice relaxed vibe.
All in all it was an excellent experience and I received great service from the waiting staff. I would say this place needs more love from the locals! It’s very good and I would come back if I were to have a similar layover at Gatwick. Also for tourists - don’t eat at Premier / Travelodge hotel restaurant etc the food is rubbish, take a short walk and check this place out!

after security, South Terminal, Perimeter Rd E, Horley, GatwickI went here for breakfast and had the Traditional English breakfast which I would recommend. The service was on the slower side of what I'd expect. If you get a hot drink, it's unlimited refills (but that doesn't mean much because most people won't have more than two). It can get crowded here so at those times you'll be lucky to get a table.Kid-friendliness: Is kid friendly - lots of children eat here.Parking: Well I mean it doesn't have designated parking, because it's in an airport. But if you count the airport parking it's got plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There's no stairs so wheelchairs can get in but it would be hard getting through the tables as the space is limited.

We ordered Vegetable Spring Rolls, Lemon Chicken, Pad Thai with chicken and egg fried rice. Everything was delicious, wait times were decent (we booked for 5pm as soon as the restaurant opened). Servers were pleasant. A little on the pricier side but understandable at that location. We would visit again.

Pret A Manger
North Terminal, Pier Four Rd N, Horley, GatwickStaff were lovely and very helpful. I expected the products to cost a bit more as the rent on the space is expensive. The only downside was the hot chocolate. The chocolate powder seemed to have been waived at the milk from some distance, definitely worth asking for an extra scoop of chocolate unless you want a coloured hot milk.

Village, South Terminal, GatwickIt was an amazing experience at Gatwick caffe Nero. I ordered one capuccinno, the Barista was Mr. Suman, cappuccino was perfect — smooth, creamy foam and great balance of coffee and milk. The barista was friendly and made it just the way I like. Excellent service!

Airport, Horley, GatwickStopped by Joe & The Juice before an early flight after a long and tiring weekend, and I wanted to say thank you to Alica for the great service. I was pretty exhausted that morning, but Alica’s friendly attitude, positive energy, and genuine smile honestly made my morning a bit better.
It’s always nice to be greeted by someone who clearly enjoys what they do and takes the time to make customers feel welcome. The Tuna Melt was also really good and exactly what I needed before my flight.

London Gatwick Airport, North Terminal, After Security, CrawleyLove it, we stopped here while waiting for the gate for our flight to be displayed and it's always worth it. Affordable prices, easy to order by scanning the QR code on the table or logging in through the app, I prefer the latter and I put in the table number select order and voilà. Service very efficient, quick, very nice friendly staff, the place is clean, cosy and comfortable.
