Special shout-out to the lovely Zimbabwean lady at the till, unfortunately I didn’t catch her name — she was incredibly helpful when I came back to ask for a bag after I'd already left. Even though she was still serving other customers, she took the time to help me without making me queue again, which I really appreciated as I was struggling to carry everything. Great food, great people!

Not only was he exceptionally kind, friendly, and attentive, but he also recommended a rice bowl that turned out to be far superior to my original order. Moses’s warm personality and excellent service truly lifted my spirits, making me forget about the frustration of missing a flight and having to rebook. I genuinely appreciate how he turned a difficult day into a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

British Airways Lounge
Perimeter Rd E, Horley, GatwickLuggage went missing on the return flight but the BA team on the ground were helpful when we landed. The world tracker system was a little frustrating as it didn't provide much information until the bag was with the courier (4 days later). Once the bag was with the courier the communication improved but I think there should be more initial communication / reassurance for customers with missing bags.

Shake Shack Gatwick

The food was fresh and tasty. They have guys running around the tables cleaning and taking away trays to make space for new customers. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is considerate of guests leaving early for flights and offers breakfast early in the morning at 4 o'clock. I think the breakfast is very good, and I need to give a good word to the staff who work in the morning. I would be happy if the manager would give them a good word for the effort they make.

after security, South Terminal, Perimeter Rd E, Horley, GatwickI went here for breakfast and had the Traditional English breakfast which I would recommend. The service was on the slower side of what I'd expect. If you get a hot drink, it's unlimited refills (but that doesn't mean much because most people won't have more than two). It can get crowded here so at those times you'll be lucky to get a table.Kid-friendliness: Is kid friendly - lots of children eat here.Parking: Well I mean it doesn't have designated parking, because it's in an airport. But if you count the airport parking it's got plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There's no stairs so wheelchairs can get in but it would be hard getting through the tables as the space is limited.

Pret A Manger
North Terminal, Pier Four Rd N, Horley, GatwickStaff were lovely and very helpful. I expected the products to cost a bit more as the rent on the space is expensive. The only downside was the hot chocolate. The chocolate powder seemed to have been waived at the milk from some distance, definitely worth asking for an extra scoop of chocolate unless you want a coloured hot milk.

London Gatwick Airport, North Terminal, After Security, CrawleyIt’s a Wetherspoons!, aren’t they all the same? Not this one, the prices are much higher!
But t I got 4 coffees for the price of 1 mug. And contrary to popular assumption, there are some much healthier, I.e. lower calorie count options on the menu, and they are very tasty.
It’s the first place in a long time I’ve been asked how my meal is while eating it, now you’d not expect that would you?
