Hill House, Rumbolds Hill, MidhurstI discovered Tilly's years ago and ever since every time I am in the area I make sure I don't miss a cream tea.. My wife and I are scone lovers and I still think no other scone beats Tilly's.
Also nice to find someone who still cares about keeping the tables clean and being elegantly friendly to customers... How England was... How England should be!
By the way... Even the cappuccino is so good with proper quality coffee and a little butter biscuit treat to die for!

I stopped in here for a coffee on my way to work and from the moment I walked in I was greeted by a lovely friendly chap (Brendon) who served me a lovely cappuccino to go. My drink was perfectly made, fresh and tasty. Highly recommended Comestibles when visiting Midhurst. ?

The Hamilton Arms - Nava Thai
School Ln, Stedham, MidhurstSeven of us stayed here for 2 nights. Absolutely fantastic accommodation, Thai food was wonderful and everyone from the owners to the ladies who service the rooms were a delight.

The Half Moon
Petersfield Rd, MidhurstHappened on The Half Moon by chance as my son and I had been hiking and wanted a roast before heading back to our Staycation to watch the football yesterday evening.
The greeting was so warm and friendly Roast & dessert was fantastic. It made such a change for proprietors to be so attentive. Will definitely be going again with my partner as we're based in Littlehampton.

The Country Inn
Severals Rd, Bepton, MidhurstWas in the area due to work, spotted this and popped in for a snack for the drive home - I was warned that the pickle and pork roll would make me never want to go back to regular sausage rolls, and oh boy they were right.
Last year I ate what was rated ‘the best sausage roll in England’ somewhere in London… this tops it EASILY.

Moonlight Cottage Guest House & Cafe
Cocking, MidhurstWe had a great 1 night stay at Moonlight cottage whilst walking the South Downs Way. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Everywhere was lovely and clean and it was great to have a living room we could use in the evening to relax in. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Would definitely recommend!

Heyshott, MidhurstReally good menu with fresh seasonal ingredients. My starter salad of figs with feta cheese and prosciutto was delicious and my husband relished the prawns with mango. For mains he was absolutely delighted with his steak and my linguine with mushrooms and courgettes was really tasty.

2A North St, MidhurstWhat a brilliant place. Lovely, genuine staff serving great food in a fabulous place at a really reasonable price. They also allow dogs in, which should get it a 6th star.
I've eaten in A LOT of, frankly, disappointing tapas restaurants serving tired and tasteless small dishes. Here a lot of the dishes are very recognisable but here they were also freshly cooked, generously portioned and really delicious. On a hot day, a cold pint of 'holiday' beer went down really well and I had a sip of a couple of tasty cocktails that my partner had ordered.
The atmosphere is very relaxed for the customers. The serving staff were bustling and busy AND happy and friendly. They were happy we were there and happy to serve us.
If I lived closed I would be a very regular customer.

Garton's Coffee House
Market Square, MidhurstIt’s very hot weather. We ordered mango ? pineapple ? smoothie, and avocado ? bacon sandwich, and cranberry and Brie sandwich with Sangria!!! All food was delicious ? I forgot to take a photos. Staff are friendly!

Ordered cakes and pastries and was offered them warm too which is a lovely touch. Seemed very popular. Outside seating available but we sat inside.

Fratelli Italian Restaurant
4 West St, MidhurstWe had the best time at this restaurant whilst celebrating our honeymoon with our 20 month old daughter. The food is fantastic but what sets this place apart is the fantastic, family friendly service. They went the extra mile to make it a great experience, with thoughtful touches like offering to cool our daughter's food a bit first. We can't say how much we appreciated your kindness and welcome, thank you!

Cadence Cycle Club Cocking
The Old Dairy, Hilltop, Cocking, MidhurstI think we've visited 5 out of 6 of their cafés, sometimes for coffee and cake mid ride or walk, other times toasties with my 80 year old mum. This morning had their amazing porridge before starting a couple of walking on the South Downs Way. Can't recommend them highly enough. Their business model (great food and drinks, but also building a community) will hopefully guarantee they're around for many more years to come. P.S. I also absolutely love their cycling jerseys

Rumbolds Hill, MidhurstA great experience and great food, what more could you ask for oh yeah great hospitality which was in abundance. I was working in the area and found this little place and boy what a joy. Had chips and curry sauce which was really reasonable in price and quality.
