We have been coming to the Crab Shack in Worthing for years and it never disappoints. The food quality and service are consistently excellent, which is why we always keep coming back. My all-time favourites are the Pil Pil Prawns and the Sicilian Fish Stew - both are always spot on. Specials are always great too.
It’s a family-run place with a really relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and they also do very decent margaritas! Sitting outside on the decking on a sunny day, looking out to sea, feels absolutely dreamy. One of our favourite places to eat in Worthing.

We love it here and the First Table deal makes it easier to feed a family of four, meaning we can now visit more often. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Orders taken quickly, food arrived in good time and presented well. Food was great, generous portions, well cooked, hot, and tasted homemade and fresh. Lasagne is the best I've had. We will definitely be continuing to eat here.

My husband and I went to this amazing Italian before an evening out at the theatre. This was our first visit (we live in Hove) but we left feeling that it was the best meal we’d had out, in months (maybe longer). We both had a pasta dish. The ingredients were fresh and authentic, portion size was generous and value for money was excellent. So happy to have discovered this place, we will be back!

Had a roast dinner on sunday,it was cooked to perfection but we ordered a side of cauliflower cheese,it came with no sauce but just a melted looking watery oil/fat,we told the waitress who brought it back to kitchen and she said the whole batch has gone like this and is now off the menu,we finished our drinks and meal and only noticed when getting home that we were still charged £7 for it,really dissapointed but my fault for not checking,i just presumed it wouldnt be on the bill,but we will go back again because we understand mistakes happen..thankyou

First time there, and a very pleasant experience it was. The lunch time special menu didn't inspire so we chose from the A la carte menu and easily found meals to please. Both beautifully presented and enjoyable. We didn't do puddings or starters as fairly light eaters and the main courses we had were enough for us. The pub/restaurant itself is very nicely done plus there is a garden and patio in the right weather. We will certainly go again.

I had such a fantastic experience at G-Lite! The food was outstanding – every dish was fresh, flavorful, and authentically Italian. The drinks were just as impressive, with a great selection to pair perfectly with the meal. I couldn’t leave without trying the gelato, and it was absolutely delicious – creamy, rich, and full of flavour.
The atmosphere at G-Lite is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for both a casual meal or a special night out. The staff deserve a special mention too – they were attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home.
Overall, G-Lite delivers an excellent dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Such helpful service. I tried to order on the app and use some offers but this was difficult and unclear. I went in and asked about this and the manager (I think) was super helpful and honoured the discount I was going to use for a click and collect so we could eat on the beach. Lovely pizza as ever. Always good to see the kitchen which was run hygienically and with friendly staff. I know it was a Monday so perhaps usual it was quiet. It’s still worth a visit even with the competition locally. I think head office need to give it a bit more love. Great staff there.

Javed’s place is a real hidden gem. It’s the only proper Pakistani spot I’ve come across all the way up until South London, and you won’t even find one in Brighton. From the outside it doesn’t look like the fanciest restaurant, but the food is something else.

I’ve had lamb biryani there, I’ve had lamb with spinach, and both were absolutely delicious. He makes this green sauce that’s just incredible, and the bread is sweet and fresh. Everything is seasoned perfectly, always filling, and I’ve never once felt heavy or unwell afterwards.

On top of that, Javed is such a friendly and welcoming guy. You can tell he really cares about the food he serves. The prices are very fair for the quality, and the whole experience is just a delight. I’ll honestly miss this place a lot.

Family of four went on a Sunday at 1pm on way back from camping for the weekend.
Luckily space available.
For a starter, I had the bruschetta, avocado and chilli salsa sauce and it was one of the best starters I have ever eaten ?
We then all had roast and again, it was tasty, hot and hit the spot.
For dessert brownie, toffee sponge and ice cream…amazing!
The service was great and all of the staff so very friendly.
If i could give an 11 out of 10, I would!

Went very early on a Tuesday evening. From the outside it didn't look much, but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked through the doors! ( don't judge a book by it's cover springs to mind)
Lovely decor, well set out, welcoming staff, very friendly and discreet and above all else the food was delicious and tasty, good portions on the starters, the quarter duck shredded perfectly, great two mains and rice. Left feeling well fed. 93 quid was the bill with no service charge so paid a 100.

Why this restaurant isn't packed out every single night is a mystery. We (especialy I)aren't normally crazy about Indian food but this is truly great. It is Bangladeshi and the food is full of subtle flavours and some of the dishes you can't find elsewhere. The staff are only too happy to guide you and explain, which in my case I needed!\n\nWith all other restaurant jacking up their prices, here you can eat a superb meal for just £14.95 Sunday to Wednesday. £16.95 on other days.\n\nI had lamb tikka as starters followed by an absolutely delicious Goan Fish Curry and a side of spinach and mushrooms. The fish just seems to melt in the mouth.\n\nOK in a sense the restaurant isn't in the greatest of locations, surrounded by takeaways but if you cant park outside there's loads of free parking around the corner.\n\nInside it is bright, modern comfortable, and you are made to feel welcome from the word go.\n\nOne of THE hidden jewels ofBroadwater

Wow, what wonderful food. The starters, octopus, king prawn, mussels and calamari all with hummus, tzatziki’and fresh salad were a winner. Sea Bass was fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked. The steak and chicken were also a hit and flavoursome whilst melting in the mouth.

The service was attentive without being intrusive and the atmosphere was really good as it was nice and busy without feeling crowded.

this restaurant has been consistently excellent over the many years we have been coming here. This has become our go to restaurant when friends and family visit. We are never disappointed. Typical Italian food without a pizza insight, Each dish is created beautifully from fresh ingredients. I like the way the kitchen is on view and you can watch the food orders, chefs, waiting team all work like clockwork. Nothing is too much trouble and the owner is incredible friendly and sociable.
I would put this restaurant in my top five, I always book well in advance as its very popular.

Stopped here for fish and chips after a Sunday evening walk. When most places would be closed at this time, it was just wonderful that they were still happily serving summer evening walkers (they close at 8pm by the way).
The food was served promptly and was absolutely delicious. The chips were marvelously crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle -just perfect.
I honestly couldn't fault this restaurant.
That said I did not dine inside so cannot really comment on the atmosphere.

We held a family gathering at Tides on Saturday and the team did an amazing job. Often large group pre-ordered meals can be underwhelming, but not here!

Firstly, prior to the day, communication was excellent throughout the ordering process and all questions were helpfully and promptly answered. When it came to the day, everything was ready for us and the food came out pipping hot and to a very high standard. Everyone in the group thoroughly enjoyed their meals and were very complimentary on all 3 courses.

I had contacted Tides prior to the day offering to pay the whole bill and have every guest transfer the money owed to me later - it seemed the easiest way. Tides had a better idea, I informed them of the family groups that would pay together and they totted up the food and the drinks (not pre ordered) And gave each family a personalised bill! Amazing, I’ve never seen a Restaurant do that before and make it look so easy.

Grandma and I absolutely love coming here to celebrate our birthdays—it’s become our special tradition. The food is always amazing, beautifully cooked, and full of flavour. Every dish we’ve had has been consistently wonderful.

What truly makes this place stand out, though, is the service. Your waiter goes above and beyond every time and makes us feel genuinely special and welcome. It’s rare to find somewhere that feels so warm, friendly, and delicious all at once.

One of the best costa coffee I have visited they always greet me cheerfully and bring my order to the table which is most helpful. Seeing I'm disabled . The one in broadwater served me in a plastic cup because they didn't have the staff to do the washing up! I will keep visiting the Montague regularly

Ordered doner kebab and chips first time..the meat had so much taste and the portion was great.

This is our regular Chinese takeaway. They are always friendly, food is ready in 10 mins or so. Food is always piping hot and delicious. Free prawn crackers and fortune cookies always go down well.
Love the prawn toast, and the chicken in garlic sauce is so tasty. Good portion sizes

Really nice local fish bar, with really friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing. I had the grilled Octopus and it did not disappoint. The octopus was just how I like it and was served with salad and chips. This restaurant possibly has the best chips in the world. I am local to here so I am definitely coming back!
