Had a fabulous meal here at the Bull's Head. It is a hidden gem. Only 5 minutes walk from the River Thames, we were ready for some good food after a full day on the water. Can recommend to anyone mooring at Goring or visiting the town. The menu has a wide selection including pub classics and grill options. We had the Hunters Chicken and the Steak and Ale Pie. Desserts were delicious too. Cosy atmosphere. Very friendly and welcoming service. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been looking for a decent Chinese in Worthing since we moved here a year ago I was recommended this place by a colleague and it didn’t disappoint food was delicious reasonably priced the munch box was fantastic it’s rare to have a Chinese that do munch boxes so very lucky to have a Chinese that do it right on my door step only thing was the food came about 10 minutes late but at least the food was hot and tasty so I’ll let that slide

We managed to book a table last minute we wanted 6.30 but was told we could only book 6pm or 8pm so we went for 6pm. Arrived and no one at the resturant but within half hour the resturant got very busy. \nWe were looked after by a lovely waitress, amazing service. Very attentive, the lady saw I needed an extra servitte and without me even asking she came with some wet ones... \nWe went straight for mains and didn't get a starter and lucky as I only just about managed the main. Great size portions and the side salad had a lovely glaze with pomegranates. The bread was fresh and the chicken and lamb shish were cooked as expected. \nMy favourite dessert is baclava and I couldn't eat anymore so we asked if they could do it as a take out and the lady said yes. Amazing!! \nThe only other place I have had amazing service like this is in turkey itself. I have been to this resturant once before and although nice, the service this time topped it off. \nThankyou so much for a lovely meal and I wouldnt hesitate to visit again.

We came here for my birthday lunch with family and overall had a nice experience. The food was lovely, served in generous portions, and while a little on the pricey side, we felt the quality and size justified the cost. The wait staff were generally very friendly and warm, and the atmosphere was pleasant enough for a family meal.\n\nThere were, however, a few things that could be improved. We were seated in a tucked-away corner, and the mains took quite a while to arrive after our starters. The biggest disappointment came when we tried to leave a tip for our server. She told us, “In England, the service charge is already included.” Having lived in England for 23 years, we’ve always chosen to tip on top of the service charge when we feel someone has gone above and beyond, as we know the service charge is shared across the team. Her remark came across as unnecessary and, to be honest, a little offensive, especially as we were simply trying to show appreciation.\n\nIt’s a shame because the staff otherwise made us feel welcome, and the food itself was excellent. We would recommend the restaurant for the quality of its dishes, but hope the team can be more mindful about how they respond to guests who want to reward good service directly.

I had such a fantastic experience at G-Lite! The food was outstanding – every dish was fresh, flavorful, and authentically Italian. The drinks were just as impressive, with a great selection to pair perfectly with the meal. I couldn’t leave without trying the gelato, and it was absolutely delicious – creamy, rich, and full of flavour.
The atmosphere at G-Lite is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for both a casual meal or a special night out. The staff deserve a special mention too – they were attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home.
Overall, G-Lite delivers an excellent dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Javed’s place is a real hidden gem. It’s the only proper Pakistani spot I’ve come across all the way up until South London, and you won’t even find one in Brighton. From the outside it doesn’t look like the fanciest restaurant, but the food is something else.

I’ve had lamb biryani there, I’ve had lamb with spinach, and both were absolutely delicious. He makes this green sauce that’s just incredible, and the bread is sweet and fresh. Everything is seasoned perfectly, always filling, and I’ve never once felt heavy or unwell afterwards.

On top of that, Javed is such a friendly and welcoming guy. You can tell he really cares about the food he serves. The prices are very fair for the quality, and the whole experience is just a delight. I’ll honestly miss this place a lot.

Such helpful service. I tried to order on the app and use some offers but this was difficult and unclear. I went in and asked about this and the manager (I think) was super helpful and honoured the discount I was going to use for a click and collect so we could eat on the beach. Lovely pizza as ever. Always good to see the kitchen which was run hygienically and with friendly staff. I know it was a Monday so perhaps usual it was quiet. It’s still worth a visit even with the competition locally. I think head office need to give it a bit more love. Great staff there.

First time there, and a very pleasant experience it was. The lunch time special menu didn't inspire so we chose from the A la carte menu and easily found meals to please. Both beautifully presented and enjoyable. We didn't do puddings or starters as fairly light eaters and the main courses we had were enough for us. The pub/restaurant itself is very nicely done plus there is a garden and patio in the right weather. We will certainly go again.

First time eating here and was on a date night with my fiancée just finished watching the fireworks and we wanted to go out for a meal always walked past but never thought to actually try it but we took the plunge and thought why not . It was a bonus to see they had a gluten free menu we got Non-Gluten Bolognese It was very tasty the only fault is portion size was not great for the price. The drinks were over priced considering it was only Sprite zero . But the staff were welcoming and our waitress was polite . It was a lovely place to eat I would definitely be back. I was in Worthing for three weeks, and during that time, I got takeaway from Chipwick five times. Though I did try two other fish and chip spots in town, Chipwick was my favorite. I tried the cod, huss, haddock, and whitebait. The cod was my favorite. Everything was cooked to perfection, with tender, ultra-fresh fish and a light, crisp batter. Sadly, I can't eat chips, and they do offer a side salad, which was nice. The coleslaw was a bit mayo-heavy for my taste, but the mushy peas were good. The service is friendly, and there's a nice little seating area out front where you can enjoy your takeaway. Chipwick played a big part in my memorable holiday. Highly recommended!

Family of four went on a Sunday at 1pm on way back from camping for the weekend.
Luckily space available.
For a starter, I had the bruschetta, avocado and chilli salsa sauce and it was one of the best starters I have ever eaten ?
We then all had roast and again, it was tasty, hot and hit the spot.
For dessert brownie, toffee sponge and ice cream…amazing!
The service was great and all of the staff so very friendly.
If i could give an 11 out of 10, I would!

Visited the North Star for Lunch always receive excellent service I usually have the Hunters chicken option but thought I would give the Ham Egg chips and peas absolutely delicious perfectly prepared and the icing on the cake was the apple pie with ice cream lovely soft pastry packed full of apple it is my favourite sweet a generous portion and on the selection of 2 dishes at a good price. I was most impressed and will certainly be returning soon as it is close to where I live. Well worth a visit.

Finally got to try these guys and I'm glad I did. The Le Spice Lamb on the starters is utterly delicious! Really soft tender lamb in breadcrumbs which was honestly fab! For a main I had Lamb Garlic Chilli which had a good amount of lamb and also spice.\n\nAs a side I had the Le Spice Special Fried Rice. Be warned, the chillies in it are HOT! Delicious though!\n\nThe tarka daal was brilliant too!\n\nOnly thing I'd say on the negative side is order early. They often stop delivering WAY before the closing time so be aware. I totally get that people need to go home at some point but it would be handy if they advertised the cut-off time.

Why this restaurant isn't packed out every single night is a mystery. We (especialy I)aren't normally crazy about Indian food but this is truly great. It is Bangladeshi and the food is full of subtle flavours and some of the dishes you can't find elsewhere. The staff are only too happy to guide you and explain, which in my case I needed!\n\nWith all other restaurant jacking up their prices, here you can eat a superb meal for just £14.95 Sunday to Wednesday. £16.95 on other days.\n\nI had lamb tikka as starters followed by an absolutely delicious Goan Fish Curry and a side of spinach and mushrooms. The fish just seems to melt in the mouth.\n\nOK in a sense the restaurant isn't in the greatest of locations, surrounded by takeaways but if you cant park outside there's loads of free parking around the corner.\n\nInside it is bright, modern comfortable, and you are made to feel welcome from the word go.\n\nOne of THE hidden jewels ofBroadwater

We are new to the Worthing area and had seen the Toby in nearby Durrington. Not visited a Toby for a few years. For a Tuesday lunchtime, we were surprised how busy it was. We were shown to a nice table and our waitress, Nicole, came to greet us and took our orders. We naturally had a carvery, but there is a superb value set menu where you can have a starter and/or a pudding for not much extra. The guy behind the carvery counter was very good at what he does and was very humerous. The Yorkshires were the size of a small country. Everything was perfect. Nicole had made it clear we did not have to commit to the set menu as people often find they are too full. I wanted pudding, but my wife had served up too much lunch. Nicole provided a takeaway box and brought my pudding with two spoons so she could share. Nicole also offered us coffees which had been ordered by somebody else but they changed their minds. So rather than waste them she offered them to us. The Toby experience was brilliant value and Nicole is a credit to her employers and to herself.

Wow, what wonderful food. The starters, octopus, king prawn, mussels and calamari all with hummus, tzatziki’and fresh salad were a winner. Sea Bass was fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked. The steak and chicken were also a hit and flavoursome whilst melting in the mouth.

The service was attentive without being intrusive and the atmosphere was really good as it was nice and busy without feeling crowded.

Stopped here for fish and chips after a Sunday evening walk. When most places would be closed at this time, it was just wonderful that they were still happily serving summer evening walkers (they close at 8pm by the way).
The food was served promptly and was absolutely delicious. The chips were marvelously crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle -just perfect.
I honestly couldn't fault this restaurant.
That said I did not dine inside so cannot really comment on the atmosphere.

Grandma and I absolutely love coming here to celebrate our birthdays—it’s become our special tradition. The food is always amazing, beautifully cooked, and full of flavour. Every dish we’ve had has been consistently wonderful.

What truly makes this place stand out, though, is the service. Your waiter goes above and beyond every time and makes us feel genuinely special and welcome. It’s rare to find somewhere that feels so warm, friendly, and delicious all at once.

This pub is hands down our favourite place to eat, and we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommended!

Absolute gem of a place to eat. The food was delicious, (if you like coconut, definitely try the Phuket Paradise dessert, omg, it's divine), we all opted for sweet and sour as our mains, delicious ?
The decor is lovely, understated and calming. The staff, wonderfully efficient and friendly. For a Tuesday lunchtime the place was incredibly busy, several large groups plus smaller tables like ours.
It was my first time visiting this restaurant, it most definitely won't be my last.

We have been here a few times before over the years whilst visiting relatives in Worthing and never been disappointed. Make sure you book, it can get busy, and if you want an extended session go early as they want to close up by 3pm. The home cooked food is delicious and usually plenty of convenient nearby parking. No fuss, no bother here and always attentive. Another lovely time with family.

What nice people helping the plasterer working locally who found the property he was due to work in had the water cut off. They helped instantly and apparently made an excellent bacon sandwich. Well done guys, I hope your cafe goes from strength to strength

My cousin and I visited this spotless establishment on the off chance, how glad we did . I must admit the place was buzzing. We were shown too our table , the service was professionally applied, by polite efficient staff. Our food was top notch, at very reasonable prices . We visited this pub recently and had dinner. The young chef cooked our meal perfectly and we really enjoyed the hospitality. The drinks on offer were varied and served up by a very cheerful middle aged lady called Kat. Nothing was too much effort for her and she went out of her way to make sure our meal and drinks were exactly as we wanted. We will certainly be visiting again as the welcome we received from everyone there was as warm as we have ever received any where. We would recommend visiting.

I came here to do a few hours work whilst visiting family on the coast. The team here were SO friendly and chatty. Plenty of tables available and they even pointed out to me the tables that were nearby plug sockets, as I mentioned that I needed to charge my laptop. They even brought our coffees over to the table, rather than us having to wait at the end of the counter as is usually the case. The toilets were very clean, plenty of toilet paper, soap and hand dryers that actually dry your hands!!

Ordered doner kebab and chips first time..the meat had so much taste and the portion was great.

Donor burger and chips second time....taste throughout and even the chips are perfect. Can't imagine going elsewhere now. 10/10, 100/100

Really nice local fish bar, with really friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing. I had the grilled Octopus and it did not disappoint. The octopus was just how I like it and was served with salad and chips. This restaurant possibly has the best chips in the world. I am local to here so I am definitely coming back!
