Papa Johns Pizza

Accidentally put in an order for collection instead of delivery and the customer service when I rang up was great. They sorted it out quickly and even though they had no drivers, they did what they could to get it to me and arranged delivery through Uber. The food was great and still arrived a decent temperature even though my own mistake delayed getting the food.

Meze

It's been a couple of years since I ate at Meze and our most recent experience was absolutely fantastic. It has always been a good restuarant but seems to have had a new lease of life and the improvement is noticable. Dined there on Friday 22nd August with family and both food and service were amazing. Amongst other dishes, the sharing plater starter, the prawn skewers and the olives all stood out. As mains we had the Lamb with feta, a twist on the traditional Kleftiko and some of the kebab dishes. As a family who have lived in Cyprus for years we were hugely impressed. The waiters were attentive and professional and the overall experience was one of the best I've had in years in the UK. To top it all off, the wine list was varied and well curated.

We dined in last year when we brought our friends to test the pizza after booking for our wedding. We were all thrilled! Lovely little place, friendly staff, great food, the cakes looked amazing but we were too full! One of our other wedding suppliers said she lives nearby and frequents the shop for the baked goods and a coffee, we’re so jealous we’re not local to this! The pizza at our wedding was SO good, we had a guest that recently went to Milan and he said the pizza from you guys was better than what he’d had there!

We went here for the first time yesterday and the food is outstanding! The service is fantastic and the staff are so friendly I would recommend here the best by far

The Sun Inn

I had a great visit to The Sun Inn. Even though it was quiet when i came the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was friendly, and the food did not disappoint. I tried the pepperoni pizza, which was tasty with a nice crisp base and a nice taste of pesto. It hit the spot for pub food.

The real star of the visit, though, was meeting Boris, the well-fed and very handsome beagle who’s clearly the true landlord here. He made the whole experience even more memorable and added so much charm to the place.

Overall, a lovely pub with good food and a fantastic four-legged host. I’ll definitely be back!

Villain Bar

Thought we'd give this cafe a try. Glad we did. The food was excellent, well worth the price. Paticularly liked ? the decor. Nothing was too much trouble for the waitresses. Definitely going back and recommend anyone visiting brighouse to call in.

The Armytage Arms

Lovely views, great selection on tap! Decided to visit my new local now we are moving to the area and wasn't left disappointed. Will be back for food (we had our friends dog with us, it's wonderful the bar and outdoors is dog friendly!)

Junction 25east

Just had breakfast at this gem of a place. We had a lovely welcome on arrival. I don't eat beans and asked for mine without, they gave me fresh tomato as a substitute which was lovely. You can have a free hot drink top up if you want.
Breakfast was super tasty and just what we wanted.
I mentioned when we were leaving that I'd saved half a sausage for the dog. The owner called me and gave me 2 sausages to take home. How kind!
Definitely worth a visit. Thanks so much, we will be back!

Absolutely gorgeous food. Highly recommended.
It's the best curry we have had in a long time. Have been ordering from a curry restaurant in Brighouse in the past but found that too oily. The curry we ordered tonight from Ridwans was spot on. Didn't even realise this was on our doorstep! Will be ordering again! ?????

The Millers Bar

I was stopping in the area for work so went into Millers bar with no idea what to expect. Initially I was not sure as I walked towards Millers bar as it didn't look to inviting from the other side of the road but as soon as I stepped through the door I was impressed. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable so lovely beer in hand I wandered to the outside seating area by a lovely canal which was fab. Enjoying myself so much I decided to eat there, the menu was not extensive but in my experience this normally meant what the do they do well so chose the 'Famous Miller Steak pie mushy peas & chips wow!!!!!! I could see why it was famous as it was amazing and the little jug of tasty gravy made the pie experience A1 and the whole meal was perfectly presented. This place is a must if you live here or are visiting its a visitor attraction not to be missed.

Kid-friendliness: Kids eat for a £1 with a adult meal the sign said for up to 3 kids to what a deal

Old Mill

We booked several tables for a group of 30 to celebrate my Grandsons Christening. The Old Mill was absolutely perfect for this, a lovely venue. The tasty food was served promptly and the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to provide everything. They set up a table for our cake and even cleaned the cake plate and knife at the end.

Café 139

Very busy on a Thursday morning, however I managed to get a seat sharing a table. I didn't eat but the cappuccino was very nice. The cake selection looked delicious but I am trying to be good! Staff were friendly.

The Calder

Great large pub with tasty, very reasonably priced food. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful too. What more could you ask? It's always a go to when in the area and I highly recommend the place.

Ordered a delivery. Arrived within around 30 mins. The driver was extremely polite and respectful when he rang to double check my address and door number!
I had the Chicken Makhani, chapati, chips. All my food was fresh and hot! Complimentary salad and mint yoghurt sauce- and it was FRESH! I enjoyed this too!
My chicken makhani was spicier than i had expected (i did choose mild, i think) but it was still so delicious! I really liked that the chicken was cut into smaller chunks! I will be ordering again!

Tried a few curry houses recently and we always compare them to the royal Delhi as it’s the best. Everything from the service to the food is just amazing. If anyone asked where they should go for a curry I’d send them to the royal Delhi.

Had a works do at the bengal brasserie got to say best curry restaurant in brighouse. It’s really nice food the staff are amazing and they make a really good curry. Had a lamb Buna and it was so tasty it melted in my mouth always go for a curry here and it as never let me down A STAR ALL AROUND and thank you to the staff for a amazing night.

Red Dragon Chinese Takeaway Brighouse

Used twice now, food was good and prompt delivery and when ordering on the website they actually listen to any notes you put in the box. I think we have found our new go to chinese takeaway.

Kings Pizza

Ordered 2 pizzas, friendly and polite service. Pizzas ordered were meat feast and one chefs special - ready in 15 minutes.The pizzas were 10/10 - will most definitely recommend this place.

Turkish Delight

Just had mixed Kebab, chips etc..FooD was gorgeous, kebab perfect, fresh salad & pitta, chips hot and crunchy not greasy, chilli sauce was great, staff polite and friendly, will be going again HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ?????

Got the place recommended to me so I went and was amazed by how good the food was. The staff very friendly. Definitely go again well worth the travel to get there.

Tried after hearing it wasn't good, very pleasantly suprised, i thought the food was good, in mixed starter only negative is the rings and dipping sauce, the mains and rice, bang on, no negatives on them, fried chicken wings and prawn toast was banging too

The best food I had in town. Highly recommended. Everything I tried was well cooked and fresh. The taste was absolutely awesome. Visited for a family meal.\nOrdered 1 starter, 3 dishes & 2 drinks.The duck dish was reported to be on the dry side. The sizzling lamb was tough , the special curry meats were too chunky , the pork was also tough. The fried rice was lacking taste .\n\nI think if we go again we would definitely order different dishes. The meal was alright but didn't wow us at all.

The Four Sons Inn

We came for lunch today, bar staff was incredibly friendly. We weren't rushed to order, My partner ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the hot beef and onion sandwich. It arrived promptly and in our opinion incredibly generous and plentiful. The fish was piping hot with an excellent crisp batter yet soft inside. The hot beef sandwich was great with a very generous 'small' pot of horseradish sauce. Average priced. Highly recommend this little gem of a pub.

We love this place. Great beers that change every week. Definitely something for everyone. The people are really friendly and staff are great. Good idea that you can get coffee too!!

Mamil Cafe Bar

We came here yesterday for bottomless brunch. The food was excellent- great portion sizes. The bottomless brunch itself was one of the best we have ever done. There was a wide range of drinks and the waitress we had kept our drinks topped up regularly. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. We would definitely return. Highly recommend. Thank you for a super afternoon.

Decent boozer, 2 pints Madrid £10.90 up and up the price of a pint keeps going .still would come again though .
Smart inside and a well stocked bar. Boss man jumped behind bar to serve us as there was 7 lads stood at bar being served. Don't mind that very often. ??

Had our first meal with them this teatime ( friday) . 5pm must be a quiet time even though we stayed for 1hr no one else came in but the food was spot on, cookedfrom fresh snd piping hot andvrty tasty. Will go again but will go at a fifferent time and maybe on a weekend when it seems to ne busy

Just had a bacon spam tomato and mushroom sandwich and slice of lemon cake. Both were delicious and the server was incredibly pleasant would definitely recommend .

I absolutely love this place, the cheap prices are insane to me, 3 Adults can have food and alcoholic drinks and not spend £50. You can spend that at popular fast food eating places with fingers and disposable cutlery and food containers.

ROUNDHILL INN

Recently used the Rounhill for a family wake. The service was perfect - nothing was too much trouble. Lovely cosy pub with plenty of room for our guests. The pub does not open until 3pm which made it a perfect spot to share memories privately before other customers arrived. A buffet was provided by Maggie which exceeded all expectations. The drinks are reasonably priced and the beer drinkers were highly impressed with the choices. Thank you

A quirky and friendly train themed café. I am a local and travel by train into London from Brighouse regularly. What better way to start the day than a very large breakfast sandwich! Not only is it better value than breakfast available during the journey there is more and it tastes better. This morning's breakfast changed my life.

Absolutely loved our fish n Chips we had today, tastiest fish i’ve ever had! Outstanding service from staff especially from the young lady who took our orders, served, took payment etc. Nothing was too much trouble and she took some great family photos for us too. Quickly losing its place in our top 3 ‘spoons. A recent visit for tea coincided with curry club night. I couldn’t get on the app so hubby ordered at the bar: Chicken Tikka Masala with chips and I had my favourite Katsu Chicken. He’d just nipped outside when the food arrived and I thought it odd he’d got rice - I’ll have it at a push but he never does. Anyway he’d actually ordered chips but it was busy and no-one to ask so he ate the curry and something that looked like it had been dropped & put back together - it was a samosa but left the rice. Anyway we ate up and left, disappointed … again :(

We found this lovely establishment by chance. It was clean and tidy. The staff were very attentive and our order was delivered in a few minutes. Everyone’s meal was different but all were delicious. We will be back.

Don’t let the modest exterior fool you—Golden Star is a hidden gem! I recently tried their salt and pepper chicken with rice and barbecue spare ribs, and I was thoroughly impressed. Tried again since it was acquired by the new owners who are doing a great job in bringing back the pizza napolena we always knew. Food was great, delivery was on time and the staff are friendly. Would definitely recommend now and will be resuming our weekly order. Great job chaps keep it up.
