Came in to watch the football, have a few drinks and some food. Great screen for football, nice atmosphere and the food was delicious! Only feedback is tables in the bar area could be cleared a bit quicker but I appreciate it was a busy Sunday! Bar staff also very friendly!

I came in with my mum today and shared a chicken ? sandwich with slaw on the side it was lovely we also had a glass of picpoul wine it was a very enjoyable time food was absolutely amazing and staff were lovely. I work in hospitality and can only say what a lovely place to just chill and have amazing time. Thank you ?

Visited here for a private function and the buffet was lovely. Staff were friendly too. Nice courtyard garden which seated all of us with room to spare. We will be back to try your menu. The one downside is the toilets were very small and with a group of us wanting to go at the same time it was a squeeze to get past everyone and the sink! ?

I popped in to the Garden on the off chance as I didn’t fancy cooking and it was definitely the right decision. The service was great, the food delicious - I had the garden burger which was cooked perfectly, but I saw the pork belly that someone else had ordered and it looked amazing. It had a warm, friendly and comfortable atmosphere and I would definitely dine there again. 5 stars all round.

Really really accommodating and welcoming. Accepted our walk in on a Sunday, staff couldn’t do enough for us. Just let down by ordering the vegan option, stating specifically vegan and it came with sausages wrapped in bacon, they took it back but didn’t fill me with confidence. Also had Yorkshire puddings on which were definitely not vegan, makes me question that the carrots weren’t honey roasted? I know it’s a dietary lifestyle choice than a serious allergen but most people would have no accepted this and made more of a point about it..

What a lovely café and friendly team that work here! We last visited here one year ago & experienced the same quality food & attentiveness. Our server was the lovely George who was super-friendly & extremely hospitable. George greeted us with a warm smile & immediately started serving us as soon as we sat down. We had a lovely large lunch for a very reasonable price. We’ll definitely be back when we’re visiting from Edinburgh again!

What a gem The Old Road Tavern is! In a world where so many pubs feel the same, this place stands out for all the right reasons. The real soul of this pub is its absolute dedication to live music. It’s, without a doubt, one of the best small venues around. The quality of the bands they bring in is fantastic, and there's such a brilliant energy in the room during a gig. Beyond the music, it's just a cracking pub. The bar staff are always lovely and welcoming, and they serve an excellent pint, with a great selection of real ales and ciders that are always perfectly kept. We have been regularly ordering from Akash for 5 years and love and recommend them to everyone. We always have fresh, hot and delicious food from them. They have a very large menu selection, and we always enjoy whatever we get. As a vegetarian, I love the saag paneer. My meat eating partner orders all over the menu and has loved everything. They have very generous portions too, so we find it great value for money as we always have leftovers. Whether we collect, or ask them to deliver, they are always so kind, friendly and attentive. Their estimated wait or delivery times are always accurate. Also, one time, they forgot to put our poppadoms in our order, which is rare for them, as we typically order one, and they are always so generous to add in extras. When we let them know, they were very apologetic (it's only popadoms, not an issue at all). The next time we ordered (which was many weeks later) they remembered us by name and made a point to gave us extra, which we felt was so generous and thoughtful. They are just great. We will always order and support Akash!

Located on the main high street, there's limited street parking but the paid car park is closed by. Nice atmosphere and the front windows open wide open making the atmosphere even better. For me the menu is a little limited for my taste but I do like the limited tapas. There is a ground floor disabled toilet. Worth a visit

Great food as always but felt let down this time
Offered a meal deal for first time but turned out it didn’t include a rice or a bread or at least that was what the bill said ?‍♀️
Also charged £1 for a foil dish for taking the left overs home … I get it’s not much however never been charged for this here before or in any Indian restaurant we’ve been too ?‍???‍♀️
The icing on the cake was the waiter demanding a tip when we paid the bill which I feel is totally unacceptable
( was intending to leave one but generally I do that as cash not with the card payment but I do object to being asked for it ?)
Really feel the manager who is a great chap should address this with his staff
Will give this restaurant another chance as the food is good but if this happens again it will be our last visit

The location is breathtaking, staff are amazing, everything is super clean. But their kitchen... OMG!
Forget about London fine dining just travel here instead. Best steak in the UK. And definitely try the duck. Or anything from the desert menu.

Just wow, i started coming in here for the first time a few weeks ago and iv been made to feel very welcome and safe, the atmosphere here is literally a five star breath of fresh air, and the service also is five star plus, as the staff do go the extra mile to bring happiness, that dance floor, yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeea also a five star plus, i can honestly say i love it here, thanks guys, ill be back, xxx

A great day at the White Hart. Sat out in the sun to enjoy a good meal. I had the beef burger which was Devine. The others had sausages and mash and the sausages were good (I’m not sure they were top quality though they were tasty). One of us had linguini with crab which she found low in flavour. I liked my burger a lot and would have it again happily!
