Very nice food, my opinion one of the best in town. Definitely recommend the madras and chicken chaat. The chicken is succulent and staff are very friendly and accommodating. We went on a Sunday night, very quiet, not at all a representation of their food and service. Parking is very small however there are nearby parking a short walk away. I will definitely be back.

Last night (Tuesday) our WI held an excellent charity fund raising night at Fabio's for 60 people. There were plenty of options on the reasonably priced three course set menu meal (including Vegan).\n\nEveryone was met with a warm friendly welcome. The service throughout was first class.\n\nThe generous food portions were all of high quality, deliciously tasty and served piping hot - which is not easy when you are serving three courses to 60 people.\nNo one felt rushed and there was a sensible rest break between each course.\nHuge thank you to Gianni and his wonderful team for making the evening such a success.

First time visit with the family. Staff very friendly and helpful. Menu had all the regular stuff lots of Goan style fish based curries of which I had one and it was amazing. This place is an absolute gem for a Sunday roast! They offer an amazing selection of meats and a standout nut roast - which, by the way, was one of the best I've ever had. The nut roast had this fantastic mix of nuts and woodland mushrooms, and it wasn't dry at all. Every roast came with a ton of veggies, including carrot and potato mash, roast carrots, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, and massive, homemade Yorkshire puddings. The food was top-notch, super generous portions, and it honestly felt like Christmas dinner - that lovely over-full feeling afterwards! I'd totally recommend the Highworth - it's worth splurging on, every penny!

A good sized Indian restaurant located in Swindon’s Old Town, we only popped in on spec without a booking, but fortunately they were able to accommodate us, even though they were quite busy. I ordered a Cobra whilst perusing the menu, although my friend was distinctly unimpressed with the cider selection, having only Irish or Swedish options. Something either more local, at least English, or more authentic (I did see an Indian cider once) would have been good. \n\nThe menu offered an extensive choice with all the usual options, and I started with the marinated salmon grilled with mild spices. Overall it was pretty decent, the flavour was certainly good, although it had perhaps been under the grill a tad too long and was a little on the dry side. My normal go to for main is a Patia, which was described as sweet, sour and hot and this too was pretty good, although it was the sour flavour that was definitely at the forefront, I thought it could have done with more of the sweet. Certainly not the best I’ve had, but no complaints. An accompanying garlic naan was a generous portion and very tasty.

Had a fantastic experience at The Sun Inn in Lydiard Millicent! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The staff – Lewis, Amy and Dave – were absolutely brilliant, extremely friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, served quickly, and we didn’t have to wait at all. Everything was fresh, tasty, and really well presented. It’s rare to find such a great mix of amazing service, fantastic food, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be coming back!

This is in my opinion by far the best Indian restaurant i have ever eaten at without doubt. I ordered a chicken chat for starter and a Macarni and asked for it at vindaloo hot which the chef gave me a strange look at because it’s slightly unusual, but it was honestly the nicest curry I have ever eaten. I would recommend it to anyone. I didn’t think the curry houses in Bradford would be easily beaten but this definitely outshines every curry I’ve had.

Also the atmosphere is very nice and great if you’re having a family meal. I will definitely be returning again.

So I was taken here for the first time by a friend for my 50th birthday treat. We have never been before but after a fantastic time in Tenerife we wanted to reminisce a little after a wonderful meal there. I have been told by my family and friends to go for a visit well this was perfect opportunity.\nWe were seated straight away and after sometime I asked the waiter what was best to decide on and he told us we could order a couple of items and if we needed more just ask and order more dishes. The food was amazing the pork belly was so delicious , the croquettes were crunchy yet meaty and flavoursome in the middle. I also had the cauliflower with beetroot and horseradish dip although I found the dip wanting that heat from the horseradish it was completely missing altogether. I needed that zing. The bread and aioli was fantastic for a start. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes and Thankyou to the amazing attentive staff you worked above and beyond xxx

Amazing service and delicious food at the Hop Inn again today. They really went above and beyond for me - as a vegetarian coeliac I often struggle to get a decent Sunday roast. Not at the Hop!! Gluten free roasties, beautiful seasonal veg, and gluten free gravy. I'm stuffed! If you're gluten free, give them a ring in advance and they will make sure you're well taken care of. Yea, go go you lovely little cafe in the heart of town. Where locals meet for nice nosh to eat. Trad cafe English breakfasts very good value, served quick and hot. No GF options but I'm not too strict, and had scrambled eggs and hash browns, instead of toast. Quieter upstairs, away from the lively atmosphere downstairs, it is also lovely to sit outside under the canopy, and watch life go by.

I come here for gigs. The live music space is down a few steps and separate to the main bar. It has a small stage, and an audience space for about 150-200. Also has its own bar.
The sound at the gigs I've been to has been excellent and bands often comment about how good it is and how much they like playing there.
A must for alternative music lovers.
There is no on-site parking but there are car parks within a few minutes walk.
