had a great lunch time meal with the gluten free menu which provided lots of choices even swapped part of the menu to please me, with not problems.\nAlso like that they have me sterilised cutlery to prevent cross contamination if your celiac you know how important this is. My wife and I had a fantastic Sunday lunch at this charming little county pub. I went for the trio of meats and was seriously impressed – generous portions, perfectly cooked, and served with all the trimmings you'd expect from a proper traditional roast. The sticky toffee pudding and brioche & butter pudding were both deliciously nostalgic, served with lashings of custard – just how it should be.\nThere’s a great selection of real ales on tap, and everything about the place gives off that warm, family-run feel. The staff were all lovely and welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed and genuine. To top it off I couldn’t believe how great value for money it was! A real gem – we’ll definitely be back.

We have been eating here for over 20 years - when we first moved to the area, we tried out all the Indian restaurants around until we found this one, and we haven’t eaten in another restaurant since! The same people run the restaurant 21 years later & we always get a friendly welcome. The food is excellent and when visitors come to stay this is our goto restaurant to take them to. Favourite dishes are prawn or chicken puri, murchi murg masala, veg balti. The rice is lovely, the naans light and fluffy. Can’t beat it! Would definitely recommend!

Haven't been for a while and fish and chips are to die for and really lovely staff. Unfortunately I had a salad which was disappointing and the tomatoes were so out of date they tasted fermented. Eating in the lounge is fine during the day but unless you like a creche atmosphere with shouting customers and open vaping which seems to be the evening atmosphere. We changed our mind about sitting in the lounge to eat after ordering and went to the bar and the staff were very understanding. Not the first time I have encountered the noisy group early evening but they are obviously regulars so the problem was mine.

Being local, I've had many meals here from feature nights on a Thursday, around the world buffet once a month and a very tasty sunday dinner. The team are always accommodating and the talented chef will make sure you enjoy your visit. If you only want a snack, I highly recommend the cobs on a weekend. You won't be disappointed. Great range of ales and all the usual drinks. Live music, jam nights, darts and pool. This place has something for everyone plus a large terrace out the front to watch the world go by as the sun goes down. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing through! Food is served from 12pm, Wednesday to Sunday ?

What a treat The Island Pool is nr kidderminster. The name endears itself to something different and is to be recommended for its excellent carvery.. this pub is was very welcoming and accommodating to find us a table at short notice when we stopped off adhoc after travelling one Sunday to move furniture.. There is a good selection of food and desserts on their menu with a carvery that is varied and is well presented by its chefs with a 1 or 2 course carvery offered. Tables are laid out with cutlery and condiments and cleared and cleaned between diners and although busy when we visited it maintains a relaxing atmosphere with dining with tables not crammed together which you sometimes find in some eating establishments.. \n\nThe Island Pool offers punters ample parking with its parking but some might find their entrance and access into the garden area difficult. Steps into the garden after dining is difficult not possible for the disabled, however this is negotiable on returning to the car park and access found off the car park from where gardens offer a \n picnic tables and patio seating for 2 under a framed arch . \n\nOn the whole the staff are very courteous and welcoming and comes highly recommended but my advice would be to book in advance to ensure a table book a table.

Recently moved into the area. First time ordered for collection. Devine smell upon entry, solid team and communication as you can see/hear the team working.

Ordered plenty of different sides with rice(s) and currie(s) naan(s) a real platter! Really nice service and communication with the front of house.

Couldn't recommend more, this is now mine and my partners place of choice for our curry takeaway. Really did exceed expectations.

Great find right by Kidderminster station. I was walking along the River Severn with a friend, so stopped here for a hearty breakfast. I had the large, which was very decent and came with more toast than you would expect! We also ended up buying sandwiches from here to take with us for lunch. We both had the masala chicken - which was excellent when we ate them several hours later! Very flavoursome and great value for money. Would definitely recommend the sandwiches!

We celebrated my son’s birthday on the 7th October at Love Food Italian. It was a little quiet as it was 8pm on an October Tuesday night. This is the second time that I have eaten here when my work takes me to the Wyre Forest area. Lucy's Cafe is situated on the edge of the local town centre. I was keen to see if Lucy's Cafe was as good as my first visit over 6 months ago.

I arrived on a quiet but sunny morning and ordered the full English breakfast and a cup of tea.

The tea was Clipper Organic tea and was delicious. The tastiest brand of tea in my opinion.

A hearty breakfast followed. This arrived with two generous doorsteps if freshly cut buttered toast. The bacon was perfectly cooked for me. Just enough crispness to give it some bite but still soft enough to chew.

The eggs, beans, tomatoes and sausages were delicious too.

I arrived just after Lucy opened so I was the first customer of the day.

The cafe was clean and tidy too.

Yes, I was impressed again.

I have walked past this coffee ☕️ shop many a time before, and yesterday I decided to venture into it again for the second time. I love the interior and the general look of the place, it has a very clean and classic look about it. Again the service from the female behind the counter was helpful and friendly, and very quick at taking my order and serving it. I once again ordered a jacket potato ? with chilli con carne and red leicester cheese ?, it was absolutely delicious and worth the money. Below is a photo ? of what I had to eat inside Cosy Coffee.

Worth the extra travel to buy food here. Consistently good. They can season chicken very well so would recommend the Southern Fried Chicken. Nice welcome on arrival too. Excellent choice, nice meal deals and not too much for a large family to eat from here.

Do not use. Ordered food, waited over an over for the staff to first lie and say the driver had car troubles. Then when I asked for a refund said a second driver was coming, continued asking for refund then lied that there was no manger in at all and system was down.

Just came in to pick up a ham and turkey foot long and bmt foot long and ended up having a lovely chat with a gentleman who we think is the owner? and he’s made our day with a simple conversation and I wish there were more people like him around in this day and age and wish him well for the future! The highlight for me was your amazing restaurant which is the first time I've ever visited and will definitely be returning, I brought a group from bromsgrove on the Eddiebus for a bite to eat, I had the amazing scampi with potatoe wedges and salad it was 10/10 the group had a mixture of scampi, pie & chips which they all said was delicious, we were made very welcome from the staff and would highly recommend 100% you pay this wonderful restaurant a visit you won't be disappointed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
