The Croust Hut
King Edward Mine Museum, Troon, CamborneMy first time trying the Croust Hut today and I'm extremely impressed. Excellent value for money and this isn't compromising on the fresh, high quality ingredients and substantial portions. They should be charging a lot more. The burger was the best burger I've had in a long time. Flavourful and moist but not greasy. I feel like I've had a healthy meal. You absolutely must go down and try them and completely boycott McDonald's.

The Shire Inn
Old Shire Inn, The, Pendarves Rd, CamborneSecond visit in a week, both times really enjoyable, the staff are confident and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our dog was given a bowl of roast beef bits, impressive desserts and food was excellent. Dog friendly, baby friendly, large car park, beer garden.

19 Basset St, CamborneThis was a lovely place although iv given it a one star for atmosphere due us being the only ones there..the place was pretty big with plenty of tables but there was only the two of us during our visit. It seems like they're take away service does better than their eat in service because the phone never stopped and there were lots of deliveries and walk ins through out. The food was amazing and freshly cooked and tasted really good. We had the madras ......its on the back streets of camborne and we only found it by googling..its clean and presentable ...and the staff polite and helpful.

Yates Commercial, 37 Commercial St, CamborneBeen quite hit and miss lately, a recent order we had was by far the worst food we’ve had from USA chicken including the previous owners whereas we decided to give them one more try a few days ago and it was amazing. Can’t fault delivery always arrived quicker than advertised and the portion sizes are good!

33 Commercial St, CamborneProper Kebab! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! And that's from an elder as well. As a tourist to this vicinity I wasn't expecting the quality food, got a 10' pizza and mixed grill type kebab came with a few extra nans, was 20mins away and still hot when eating. Asked for sauces in tubs as had a picky eater and they more than accommodated. 3 adults couldn't finish in 1 sitting. Definitely recommend this Eaterary. More salad pls for that huge tasty differing meats kebab pls as again this was tasty! And yet I haven't told you about the stuffed crust pizza this was equally splendid on looks alone, looked like perfection and tasted like a pizza should. Definitely go again.This place is On Just Eat for delivery but I would highly recommend going to their website.

I waited longer than the average waiting time, and that's why I took 1 star off. I will be ordering from here again soon and can see myself editing this review and adding that extra star. Thank you Chaplins, I loved my food.

The Old College, Dolcoath Rd, CamborneWe were meaning to try Miss Mollys Sunday buffet as we have had other food there which was amazing, I’m telling you this has got to be tried it’s the best roast dinner I’ve had for ages 4 different meats and the selection of veg was great we got it take away but you can sit down inside or out to eat if you want . The staff are amazing and could not of helped more , What can I say more than try it for yourselves !!

40 Trelowarren St, CamborneAfter recently moving to the area, we calling in on the spur of the moment for a spot of lunch with visiting family.
Staff were so attentive and friendly.
The food was fabulous, especially the beef stew, and very reasonably priced.
The other diners were also very friendly and made our visit a memorable one.
Will definitely visit again soon

The Beacon Inn
80 Fore St, Beacon, CamborneWe came here for the first time today, Christmas Day, and thought it was beautiful! We’ve recently bought a house a few doors down and even though we haven’t completed on the sale yet we were keen to support (what will be) our local pub! It’s such a great place with a pool table and dart board and just about everything that a pub needs! No food though but I did overhear the landlady speaking with the table next to us about her hopes of opening the kitchen again!We will certainly be regulars in the new year when we move in a few doors down! Heads up though, if you’re a Pepsi connoisseur then don’t try it here!

Cousin Jack's Fish and Chips
8 Meneth Rd, Pengegon, CamborneJust wanted to say went into cousin jacks tonight and OMG they was to die for, Had big order and tell you when it did not disappoint one bit, the fish was so fresh and fluffy and crispy, the chips was golden and honestly would say the best chips I have even eaten. I used to go to beacon but thought I’ll give them ago and I can see what the hype was about. Walking into the shop seeing a young team but they was so polite and very professional, and the young lad who cooked tonignt certainly can cook. I will be back for sure

27 Commercial St, CamborneWe got a room the day after storm Goretti had rendered our previous accommodation virtually uninhabitable, and the staff were more than happy to let us in for the night. Excellent service by the workers, and the room was a lovely sight after a night of no electricity and signal! My only complaint would be the loudness of the live music, but we were well aware that the night would bring it. The breakfast that was included with our was tasty and warm, which is all we could ask for. Thank you!
