Restaurants in Hesket Newmarket
The Old Crown
2 Beech Cottages, Hesket Newmarket, WigtonStill a stunning pub in an achingly lovely north Cumberland village. Terrific Black Sail beer at a good price, knowledgeable locals who own and frequent the place. A 20 year success story which I hope will continue. And with 150 shareholders ( plus waiting list ) it has every chance of thriving for another 20.

The White Horse
Threlkeld, KeswickWe booked a table here on our last evening visiting the Lake District. Stevie was fantastic and so easy to talk to, the service was incredible and fast. We were never made to feel rushed, he even encouraged us to stay and get comfortable in front of the fireplace. The food was amazing, the biggest burger patty I've ever had in a burger, large portions and so so tasty. Would definitely recommend if you're staying or passing through the area, absolutely wonderful environment there and so cosy. Will definitely be back next time we visit the Lakes!

The Mill Inn
Mungrisdale, PenrithFabulous place. Had 2 evening meals here...reasonable price, fantastic quality and you don't go hungry! Lovely relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, lovely staff, 2 young lads behind the bar/serving meals. Wish we lived closer so we could be 'regulars'. Really nice setting. We were staying close by so perfect for us at the end of days out. ?

Watermill Café
Priest's Mill, CaldbeckOnly had coffee and cake, so can't review other food, but the products I bought, especially their Christmas pudding and blackcurrant jam, were the best ever.
