Cumwhitton, BramptonThe staff are exceptionally accommodating, friendly and helpful. The food is presented beautifully and tasty t’boot. Lovely friendly, welcoming atmosphere and they are also very dog friendly.

Blue Bell Inn
Newbiggin, Heads Nook, BramptonIf I could give it 6 stars I would!! The best food we ate during our stay there and in the surrounding areas. Lake District Etc. The owners were very friendly and seemed to love what they do. Furthermore, the prices compared to the quality of the food are quite low. Vfm!!

The Dukes Head Inn
Front St, Armathwaite, CarlisleWe stopped into the Dukes head after arriving to stay in Armathwaite on a Friday evening and asked for a table for two and two dogs, and couldn't have been made more welcome. The food was brilliant, really high standard of your typical pub food and home cooked meals throughout but what was really impressive was the amount of veggie options.
We found out they had only just started serving food, and after our experience I imagine this place will get seriously popular very quickly.

Fox & Pheasant Inn
Front St, Armathwaite, CarlisleOur walking group had a great lunch here today. The weather was abysmal but there was a warm fire and friendly service. The Menu provided generous portions of some pub favourites and all were happy.
