Wetheral, CarlisleWhat a lovely place! We were staying at the hotel up the road and stopped by for a quick breakfast. We had a biscoff cake and a lemon/blueberry cake. Both were very delightful!!

Wheatsheaf Inn
9 Steele's Bank, Wetheral, CarlisleWe were staying in the Crown Hotel down the road and fancied a change of scenery, so we opted for the Wheatsheaf Inn. What a great little pub. Full of locals when went in and a very lively atmosphere. Local ales on tap, the Eden Pale was a great session ale. We ordered the Thai Salmon which was cooked to order but didn't take too long; it was worth the wait, beautifully cooked with a nice crisply skin. Couldn't fault it. The staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. All in all a 10 out of 10 experience. Would certainly recommend it.

The Queens at Warwick on Eden
Warwick Farm, Warwick-on-Eden, CarlisleI had a fantastic stay at The Queens! Friendly staff, great locally sourced food, peaceful location and comfy beds, the team also let me store my bike inside the building (I'm cycling Hadrian's Wall back to Newcastle) thanks team!!
