Gilsland, BramptonWe stayed in an air b&b a minutes walk from this pub and only stumbled across it because I did my usual desperate search for decent gf food - and what an amazing find! So many choices for the main dinner meal, I ended up having chicken goujons and chips which was excellent. So good we ended up coming back for sunday lunch! A whole sunday lunch pre marked gf and df, no questions, no compromises - made my holiday! Really good with the kids too. Can not recommend more.

The Forest Bar and Kitchen
Kielder Forest Park, HexhamDog friendly you dont have to sit outside!! We visited today with our 2 dogs, 1 of which is a 6 month old excitable doberman puppy. Lucy has never been to a restaurant before, so wasn't sure how she would react to a new environment. Wow what a fabulous experience, the staff were so welcoming. Made a fuss of our 2 dogs, gave them fresh water and treats. The food was excellent, good size portions. We will be back. Big woods and waggy tails from Jai and Lucy ??
