Wetheral, CarlisleArrived, after a somewhat difficult walk, just 10 mins before closing. I was made to feel so welcome and not at all a 'last minute' customer. Cake and coffee delicious. Service spot on and two lovely ladies, holding the fort. What a lovely treat!

9 Steele's Bank, Wetheral, CarlisleGreat village pub, live sports, great atmosphere, not your normal village pub where the locals stare at the intruders haha. Food is amazing, drinks are great and nice and friendly. Oh and your four legged friends are welcome too.

The Queens at Warwick on Eden
Warwick Farm, Warwick-on-Eden, CarlisleWhat a little gem this place is. The team are lovely, the room was really comfortable and the steak and ale pie I had was absolutely amazing.
They have plenty space for dinning, a nice bar area, plenty parking and a beer garden.
Reasonable room rates and really handy for Carlisle.
