Three Stags Heads Inn
Mires Ln, WardlowThis is a lovely little pub with a fab friendly atmosphere. Found it when I broke down right outside on my motorbike, so went inside while waiting for recovery. The landlord gave me a cup of tea and then helped me get my bike going again - jump started it from his car. The other customers were great too - friendly and chatty. Now I’ve found this place, I’ll definitely go back. Note: cash very much preferred!

The Packhorse Inn
Main St, Little Longstone, BakewellMe and my friends popped in here for a drink after our hike. We sat outside in the cutest pub garden and relaxed! All members of staff were friendly and service was fab! We didn’t eat here but the food looked and smelt incredible!

The Merchant's Yard
St John's Rd, Tideswell, BuxtonWe had Sunday lunch here and it was perfect. We are always on the look out for a really good Sunday lunch and it's harder to find than you'd think! This lovely place ticked all the boxes. The food was perfect, the place itself is lovely and the staff were so wonderful. It's a bit of a drive from us, about an hour and 45 minutes, but it's so worth it, we will definitely be back...a lot! The price was really reasonable as well, we thought it would be nearly double what we paid. Best place we've had Sunday lunch in a very, very long time.

Cock & Pullet
Main St, Sheldon, BakewellA pretty quaint pub and dog friendly. Good menu . The barmaid was a bit sour when serving us ( I guess we all have off days but I realised she’d given me a Scottish fiver when I left to boot !) but other than that it was a lovely place to grab a drink on walk
