The rum and raisin is a must. The lady that served us today was very polite chatty and such a pleasure to talk to. The prices are very reasonable and have a variety of cone sizes.The venue is situated near the road and overlooks the sea which is a great venue for a cheeky ice cream.

Esplanade Fish Bar
The Esplanade, LynmouthThey were training a new lad and the young lady was getting a little anxious that the huge lunch time crowd was waiting a little longer than she felt they should.
An Employee that cares about the customer is a wonderful sight. Everyone was working hard to get food cooked in advance so very little wait time in reality.
I got my fish and chips within a short time and they were absolutely delicious, so tasty I felt the need to walk back and say thanks for the piping hot deliciously cooked fish and chips. ?

The Ancient Mariner
10-14 Lynmouth St, LynmouthDon’t listen to the negatives. We almost didn’t come in because of a few reviews left by other people but i’m glad we took a chance now!
The food was lovely, the fish great quality (i had a fish pie which was well filled and the veg that came with was well cooked and tasty) The cider was delicious too.
Staff were very attentive— you honestly can’t ask for more! I would recommend!

The Harbour Shed Lynmouth Fish & Chips
1 Riverside Rd, LynmouthStumbled across this place 15min before they closed. The chap cooked us some fresh chips. They were hands down, without question, the best chips I have ever had from a takeaway. Tasted like triple cooked chips, crunchy yet perfectly cooked. Such a shame we live 300 miles away!
