If you want a place where you can have a few beers and just relax after a hard week in work then this is the place for you. Paul always says hi to me and my wife when we are there and the rest of the team make this our favourite place in Hockley. Drop in you’ll have a great time

Turkish Kitchinn
42 Spa Rd, HockleyWe come here often and have never thought to leave a review - it is by far the best Turkish food we ha e experienced in the UK. Everything is cooked to perfection, the service is quick, friendly and genuine. Prices are more than reasonable for the experience, quality of food and excellent service.
They always go the extra mile for a special occasions, without letting the whole restaurant know! Classy service, every time.
We'll be back, as usual!

Tonight I left a note not to ring my doorbell as my baby is asleep and the driver was brilliant! No baby disturbed and I get to enjoy a nice dinner with no baby waking up, couldn’t recommend them enough

23-25 Spa Rd, HockleyWe moved to hockley last year and we haven't found a fish and chip shop that beats here, they're so friendly and accommodating to theircustomers! The foods always hot and tasty and they have a wide range of food on the menu as well- even give a free cookie here and there. When our order didn't go through because of a hockley power cut, they (especially Greg) went above and beyond to rectify it- the best fish and chips shop by far ?

3 Broad Parade, HockleyI have an allergy to gluten so it’s always been a bit tricky finding a Chinese who can cater to me. The lady on the phone was really helpful and gave me options on what I could have. Food came fast, reasonably priced and hot. Food tasted delicious. Couldn’t fault the service. Will 100% be ordering again.

The food was delicious, we both had the roasts, I had the vegan option & my husband had the chicken, couldn't fault either?The staff were very nice too.It was our first but not last visit.

14 Spa Rd, HockleyRecently moved to this area and luckily found this takeaway. Very easy to order over the phone. Cooked freshly in open kitchen easily viewed from the payment desk. Food is very tasty and they have a 5* hygiene rating!! Staff very friendly. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I’ve been visiting Costa stores for years, but since moving to Hockley two years ago, I can honestly say I’ve never experienced service quite like this. The team at the Hockley branch is truly exceptional. Their attention to detail and the genuine rapport they build with each customer sets them apart. They remember little things about your order and about you which adds such a personal and thoughtful touch to every visit.
For me, it’s the flat white always made to perfection, every single time. Without fail, it’s a 10/10, and it’s become such a daily highlight that I now find myself going in almost every day just to enjoy one.
Ellie, the manager, and her team consistently go above and beyond. They strike the perfect balance between being professional and warm. Even in moments when the store is busy or they’re met with rushed or impatient customers, (I have witnessed myself) they remain calm, kind, and composed. It’s a level of professionalism I rarely see, and it truly makes a difference.
Of all the Costa branches I’ve visited and there have been many this is by far the best. The team deserves real recognition for the passion and pride they bring to their work. They’ve turned a simple coffee run into something special, and they make my mornings brighter.

The Broadway Grill / Kebab,Pizza and Burgers Takeaway
253 Ferry Rd, Hullbridge, HockleyStopped here late for my second Kebab from this shop. The guys had run out of Doner meat on the gyro skewer, so I opted for lamb shish. Don't know what the guy uses to marinade his meats but when I stopped to eat, it was perilously close to a religious experience. ???Parking: Street parking bays right outside the shop.

The staff were extremely helpful over the phone and the delivery driver was friendly. They even threw in a complimentary bottle of wine!My partner and I often order from here and will definitely continue to do so in the future :)

40 Spa Road, HockleyI would just like to highlight the value of a member of your staff..’BARRY’. I attended the store today in Hockley on my way to work wearing my work uniform (paramedic) and a member of staff ‘BARRY’ insisted on paying for my pizzas, as a thank you for my service.
This kind gesture touched me and really made my day…. and it will not be forgotten.
