Lovely little pub. Nice atmosphere, good drinks and food is nice. Garden space is good and is dog freindly with biscuits behind the bar for the fluffy friends.
Pool table darts and slot machine to keep you busy. No designated disabled bays that I could see, but never had a problem finding space with enough room.

This is a lovely, warm, inclusive pub. Dog friendly. Claire and her team have always made us feel really welcome especially as newcomers. We started coming to The Castle in The Air during the summer and have now become fairly regular. The pub quiz evenings held on Tuesday are great fun, Claire is a funny, kind and great compere, she really makes sure everyone has a great time. We haven’t eaten there yet so can’t comment on the food this time, but what comes out of the kitchen looks good. Highly recommend this little gem by the sea.

This is really a gem, small boutique restaurant with basic decorations. We found this from Google search and I must say the reviews is underrated, it is definitely the best meals and sophisticated foods we had in UK compared to the so called awarded winning restaurant and Michelin Restaurant for a reasonably $.
Gemma was very friendly and detail orientated that completed the whole dining experience. We would definitely have no hesitation to recommend it to anybody that appreciate a fine meal. We will definitely be back for more especially the set meal they do from Tues to Thursday.

My wife and I visited Cackleberrys for the first time, on New Year’s Eve, and we were not disappointed. Tess was friendly and looked after us very well during our visit. We both had breakfast muffins, which were delicious! The coffees were hot and complimented our food choice. We also took a couple of the homemade pies away with us, which were really tasty too! Prices were reasonable and the seating area and toilets were clean and well presented. We’d definitely recommend a visit, and we’ll be back there again, sometime soon.

Went for a meal with a table of 8 people on mother's day 15/03/26 it was absolutely lovely looks nice inside and staff was welcoming and the service was brilliant spaced out nicely between meals did not feel rushed it was lovely and relaxed the drinks were also good. The food was amazing it was more expensive but you get what you pay for as it was a perfect place to choose on such a special day.

There are two things that haven't changed in that time, the lovely friendly family who run it and the fantastic food served every time. Home cooked food really was honecooked by someone who really can cook.

Tge water pastry on tge pie was a wonderful departure from the frozen puff pastry used by too many pubs. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. And the chillie just hit enough and full of flavour.

I went to the Wheatsheaf with Fareham Ladies Club for our Christmas get together.
The food was delicious and plentiful. I had steak chasseur, the steak was perfectly cooked. At the last minute I decided I wanted a cheese board. That came out within minutes, despite it being a very busy night for the staff.
A fantastic night, with great company in a pub with a great atmosphere. Thank you, Mark, for being such a fabulous host.

The four of us at lunch today were 100% happy. Very friendly welcome, our food was served promptly and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything whilst apologising for not being able to empty our plates. Absolutely recommend the Steak Mushroom and Ale pie, but please starve yourself for 24 hours before hand. I was ashamed to leave so many chips and veg!!!! (My wife loved her liver and bacon but still couldn't finish even her 'smaller' portion.)

Popped into The Cuckoo Pint in Stubbington last night for a drink and was really impressed. Although it was quite busy and there was only one barmaid working, she handled it brilliantly, super friendly, efficient, and clearly great at her job. Despite the rush, she made sure everyone was served with a smile and kept the atmosphere upbeat.

The pub itself has a warm, welcoming vibe with a nice mix of locals. It’s got that classic British pub charm and a good selection of drinks behind the bar. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area, I’ll be back for sure!

So much better than a year ago when we last visited Bills in Southampton and they were offering a very limited menu. The menus are now extensive, offering a variety of choice and good quality food. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive , especially Grace who couldn't be more helpful. Although we thought a glass of 175ml wine was a bit overpriced at around £8 each, we will definitely be returning again soon.

Absolutely delicious! The food arrived hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish was perfectly seasoned – rich curries, tender meat, and the naan was soft and fluffy. Portions were generous and great value for money. Delivery was on time, and everything was packaged neatly so nothing spilled. You can tell real care goes into the cooking. Easily one of the best Indian takeaways I’ve had in a long time – will definitely be ordering again!

Ordered the chicken phal, plenty of chicken in it compared to others, with proper texture not squishy like other Indians and tender not dry, the phal was ordered without any special notes to make it hotter like I'm used to do and first time order I'm impressed with spice level.

Sauce isn't watery like others reviews it's got a good texture and consistency, ordered through deliveroo as in Gosport.

£4 for a small pilau rice is rather a bit on expensive side and the garlic cheese naan is rather small for £5 that's the only reason 4/5 stars on food, but 5 star on service at atmosphere although I wasn't there.

As I said I'm impressed it's a really nice curry and came with a free poppadom and onion salad, just a bigger rice and naan considering price would be appreciated in future.

Order cost £22 (I'm also an deliveroo silver member so no bumped up costs)
