21 Commercial Rd, HerefordLocated on a main road so not the easiest for parking. Not a lot of seating feom what we could see but managed to get a table straight away. We tried 2 dishes feom the chefs specialities but they also offer the common dishes such as madras, bhuna etc. Food was delicious both curries were full of depth and flavour. We found the naan dry with a strong chemical smell hence only 4 stars.

Beautiful selection of quality meats seasonal and some veg you dobt usually see that complimented the meal no end. Generous portions so wear you lose pants lol the staff are so welcoming and friendly. We will be making this a regular event as the value was phenomenal. Its not the biggest of places which adds to its charm but make sure you book so as to not be disappointed.

Yazor Rd, HerefordAs an American traveler exploring Hereford, I happened upon Heggie’s Delicatessen for lunch, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The place has a charming, welcoming atmosphere with a great selection of fresh, locally sourced food.
I went with the Beef BBQ Boston, and wow—what a fantastic choice! The beef was perfectly tender, packed with rich, smoky flavor, and served on a fresh, hearty roll that held everything together beautifully. The balance of seasoning and sauce was spot on—just the right amount of tang and sweetness. It honestly rivaled some of the best BBQ sandwiches I’ve had back home in the States.
The service was friendly, and you can tell they take pride in their food. If you're in Hereford and looking for a great bite, Heggie’s Deli is an absolute must-visit!

32 Aubrey St, HerefordMy partner and I enjoyed a lovely meal at the Burger Shop last night; the food was absolutely brilliant.
Ironically, we didn't actually try any of the burgers, because the sides all sounded too good to choose just one from! Instead we chose to order four sides to share: bbq chicken wings - full of flavour and so tender, meat just fell off the bones; buttermilk chicken tenders - soft and crispy at the same time, delicious; westcombe cheese curds - to die for, these were a must-have; and the truffle fries - both crispy and fluffy, delightfully cheesy. All of these dishes were amazing; we could not choose a favourite at all.
I would also recommend their homemade lemonade; it's super flavourful and very refreshing.
I think the pricing is very reasonable as the food is of great quality and definitely satiates.
The staff were nice and friendly, making us feel welcome. The atmosphere is light and casual, making it a great place to meet up with friends.
This restaurant is a great alternative to Beefy Boys if you fancy similar food that's less greasy. I would highly recommend it.
We will definitely be coming back soon to try some burgers.

The overall atmosphere is really nice, it's sometimes buzzing with people, or sometimes very quiet. The pool table is a great addition, the garden is great, and overall it's a good place to come to!

29-30 Commercial St, HerefordWe had a really great brunch here on a Saturday morning. Loved all the inventive menu options, with great coffee and juices. I had the baked feta on a shakshuka-type base, with hot honey, chorizo, poached eggs, avocado and flatbread, which was really exceptional. My partner had smoked salmon on rye bread with eggs and pickled beetroot. Lovely food and enjoyed the urban stripped back surroundings with large leafy plants. The only downside was that it was so busy that service (ordering, paying the bill) was quite slow, but I appreciate the team were doing their best at the busiest part of the week. It wouldn't stop me from going back as this was one of the best brunch menus I have seen in ages and there were other dishes I would also like to try. I felt it was reasonable value for the quality and quantity of food presented.

48-49 Broad St, HerefordWe ate here while on a weekend break. We didn't book but it smelled so good from outside we decided to give it a try. The food was amazing. We had a seafood sharing platter to start which had possibly the best prawns I've ever eaten. Highly recommend you try if you're in town. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and the atmosphere was lovely too.

The interior is really nice and has a homely feel to it with an outside back area for smoking which is roofed mostly to stop rain. If you're after a quiet pint, id advise going at the start of the week. However if you like the busier times, weekends are always fun and always good for a laugh and hanging out with new people. The staff are wonderful and are very welcoming. I had isla serve me today and greeted me with a warm and bright smile and with exceptional service. Will continue coming here and would advise others to do the same!

Grandstand Rd, HerefordAs pensioners our first impressions were that this was not really our sort of pub and was noisy with lads playing pool and families out for a good time.\nHowever, having just arrived in Hereford we decided to return in an hour when it maybe quieter.\nWe tried a couple of seat positions for comfort but at each table the washable menu cards were extremely sticky, as we're the tables, which had been cleared but obviously not properly cleaned.\nHowever, the very charming and friendly barmaids, especially Amelia S, made our experience a pleasant one.\nFood was delivered quickly. Although certainly cheap eats we felt we would have preferred to have paid more for a raise in food standard and quality.

Wow was I impressed. We were served by Tanya who made us feel so welcome. The food was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was wonderful too. Service is excellent. Nice Brixton IPA on draught. Castle Park, Kilpeck, HerefordA month ago we booked a very large lunch party in after an ash-scattering ceremony nearby. The participants in the ceremony were disastrously undisciplined, and no amount of chivvying could get them the pub anywhere near on time. The staff, under Aimee's direction, achieved saintly levels of tolerance and flexibility, even when lunchers couldn't remember what dish they had ordered, and everyone enjoyed the occasion enormously. I recommend all aspects of the inn unreservedly.

A Rule Of Tum

I was worried it would be claustrophobic but it was completely different the decor was old fashioned with it's open bricks and wooden tables. I had to share a long table with two customers what I personally didn't enjoy I did ask to move but we couldn't but this in no way ruined my time at these burger joint I also loved how I could see the kitchen. The staff were very friendly and fast responding . I ordered a burger, sticky wings and a coke after a short wait the food arrived. The burger was amazing, it was good quality and quantity, it didn't fall apart. The wings...they were something else, by far the best wings I've ever had. The chicken fell of the bone so easily, the sauce and spice was delicious you must get the wings. I would most certainly go here again.

Coldwells Rd, HerefordThe secret garden is a fitting name for the pub, as it’s in a nice remote & obscure location down a country lane.
First time eating here and I was very impressed with the service, the Lady I spoke to over the phone was very polite and helpful, advising us to book as they get busy.
We had the choice of either a lively atmosphere with some music or a nice relaxing dining vibe which is what we went with.
The Lady came and sat down with us to take our order which I thought was pretty cool, it had a very down to earth touch and felt very welcoming.
My girlfriend couldn’t eat a whole fish and chips, but really wanted to try it… so they gave her a smaller variation and charged less, I was very surprised they went out there way to do this for us, it just goes to show how passionate this restaurant is about the level of customer service they provide and cater for many request.
The food was excellent very fresh and tasty, the price was very reasonable.
I will definitely be visiting again soon and I recommend it to anybody looking for a nice evening meal with their partner.
The lad at the bar was also very polite and friendly.

1-3 Bartonsham Rd, HerefordSolid Chinese take out and dim sum spot. There is a wide variety of food here. Steam buns, steam dim sum, pan fried dim sum, rice rolls, fried rice, chow mein, you name it! I haven't tried everything here yet but this is what I know they do good here: -ha gaow (shrimp dumpling) -shrimp and chive dumpling -taro dumpling -taro meat buns -sweet taro buns -bbq porn buns -plain steamed buns -steamed tofu skin roll -skip the siu mai - doesn't taste good It's rare when I'm in the city so when I am, I try to buy enough for a couple days. I also freeze some do the buns before and defrost it the night before and taste just like fresh. I will say you gotta mentally keep tabs of how much you're spending; I feel like they try to be sneaky. I've also ordered two of some things and when I got home. Things are missing. Not sure if they didn't pack it or if they simply got the order wrong. Also, I'm not tripping off 20 cents but they tend to round when giving you change. I was supposed to get back 70 cents and they gave me 50 cents.

Summer Palace Chinese Take Away

I've not really looked for a decent Chinese takeaway since moving to the Hereford area but I've now found one based on reviews of others that I'll definitely be returning to. The food purchased was hot, full of flavour and in good sized portions. It was excellent value for money too and the service was excellent which was provided with a smile. Food hygiene rating is a 5 too. Note that they only take cash as payment though.

Great selection on menu. I ordered the *NEW* WAGYU meatballs arrabbiata ruffled ribbons pasta with chilli.
4 of us shared 2 garlic breads.
All the food was well received by all of us, wagyu meatballs exceptional and as it says it has a spicey sauce.
Nice clean and welcoming decor.
All in all spot on !!!!
Good value with a drink each £27.50 per person. 4 meals 4 drinks and 2 sides.

Dorstone, HerefordWhat an absolute gem! We visited a few days ago for dinner and even though we were late we were welcomed and made to feel like family! It's beyond dog friendly and my pup felt at home.
The ciders were tasty, the food was incredible and the atmosphere, even though it was quiet, was still welcoming and comfortable. It's not often a pub can get away with not playing music and not feeling awkward, but this one can.
I'm genuinely gutted I live so far away because I'd absolutely love to be a local here just for The Pandy Inn!

2, B4348, HerefordI realise the pub is a small local pub and we hadnt booked a table. I had phoned the day before to check the menu as there isnt a clue online. The kind lady read out the menu for me so we had an idea. When we arrived at the pub after a long journey, id say for me it wasnt busy but we could see tables in the restaurant had reserved on, we were happy to eat anywhere in the bar. We got a drink and were told it wouldnt be long for a table. We waited an hour before we were seated and ate. She appologised but it was very late for us to eat at 8pm. The food wasnt great. My lasagne wasnt a lasagne but mince with dried lasagne strips between, no sauce at all and very peppery. The cheese on top was dry. I ate it, as to compalin would cause an issue and we just needed to eat and go to our holiday place to rest then bed. The choice locally wasnt enough for us to leave and go elsewhere. Shame as we were looking forward to a nice meal after a long journey here. My husband had the pie which he said was ok. I felt it was a drinking pub rather than a foody place. The lady was nice enough though.

136 Eign St, HerefordA really good micropub with a wide range of high quality cask and keg beers and unlike most other micropubs , some fantastic Real ciders.
This place also has decent comfortable seating which makes it easily the best in Hereford and one of the best in the country.
It's a shame that no other Hereford pubs make the effort to stock high quality ciders like Oliver's and Ross cider , most have the usual rubbish from Westons

I lived in Cyprus for 3 and a half years and I can hand on heart say I have never had a better Gyros outside of the Med. By far the best plate of food I have had in a long time. Even though it was a Thursday evening in rural Herefordshire, it was still extremely busy.
If you have time, this is great as you have the option of a pint in the Dog or the Temple Bar which are opposite while you wait.
If not, you can phone and order in advance.

They do have excellent music events on which I have attended. From a range of acoustic nights to DNB. They have also just started Sunday roasts 12-4pm. Ordered a small and large cider battered fish (cod) and chips, as you can see from the picture, it looked delicious and it taste as good as it looks.
Premises very fresh and clean looking, staff very polite and attentive, checking if everything was ok.
The fish had a nice bubbly and buttery batter, taste delicious, nice fresh home cooked crispy chips.
Would definitely visit again and would definitely recommend ?
Parking: Multi storey opposite, about 3 minute walk.
Wheelchair accessibility: Nice wide entrance, spacious inside, would easily fit a wheelchair at the table

Dorstone, HerefordWhat an absolute gem! We visited a few days ago for dinner and even though we were late we were welcomed and made to feel like family! It's beyond dog friendly and my pup felt at home.
The ciders were tasty, the food was incredible and the atmosphere, even though it was quiet, was still welcoming and comfortable. It's not often a pub can get away with not playing music and not feeling awkward, but this one can.
I'm genuinely gutted I live so far away because I'd absolutely love to be a local here just for The Pandy Inn!

Before we even got engaged we were really keen on the idea of celebrating our marriage here. When we discovered we could in fact legally be married here too we were ready to make it official and get it booked!
The warmth, enthusiasm and excitement from team Shack at the open day we attended (in June 2025) was encouraging and comforting-we got a sense that the staff genuinely love what they do and this carried through our whole experience of working with them.
We opted for a pretty quick turn around between proposal (a week after we attended their open day) and our wedding day (less than six months later) and we have zero regrets about that decision whatsoever as we were able to access and be supported by the venue to bring together everything we wanted, exactly how we wanted it.
The amount of items/services included in the booking was incredibly helpful for our budget and exactly what we wanted/needed, if not more! The ping pong tables, giant jenga etc were a big hit with the children (and adults) that attended, and the mountain backdrops for our ceremony and sweetheart table set up looked incredible with our floral arrangements attached.
Access to the venue to set up how we wanted it to look helped reduce stress and pressure to us as a couple and the bridal party, which again felt supportive of us achieving the aesthetic of our day to be exactly how we wanted it.
Every single member of the team that we interacted with were kind, patient, enthusiastic and proactive in offering solutions and ideas where we needed some direction or additional support and the hand over between planning and events teams was seamless. Genuinely can not sing team's praises enough and whole heartedly recommend you get in touch to book your wedding/event today!
Thank you Charlotte, Bethany, Jacob, Mike and all the team that brought the vision together and enabled us to enjoy every part of the day. The consistent feedback from our family and friends support what a fantastic venue and staff team it is too-thank you all so so much.

The kind lady read out the menu for me so we had an idea. When we arrived at the pub after a long journey, id say for me it wasnt busy but we could see tables in the restaurant had reserved on, we were happy to eat anywhere in the bar. We got a drink and were told it wouldnt be long for a table. We waited an hour before we were seated and ate. She appologised but it was very late for us to eat at 8pm. The food wasnt great. My lasagne wasnt a lasagne but mince with dried lasagne strips between, no sauce at all and very peppery. The cheese on top was dry. I ate it, as to compalin would cause an issue and we just needed to eat and go to our holiday place to rest then bed. The choice locally wasnt enough for us to leave and go elsewhere. Shame as we were looking forward to a nice meal after a long journey here. My husband had the pie which he said was ok. I felt it was a drinking pub rather than a foody place. The lady was nice enough though.
