3 Gloucester Rd, Ross-on-WyeThis was my first time at the restaurant, a birthday treat, having been recommended to me. It didn't disappoint. Welcoming staff, lovely atmosphere and superb food. I thought it exceptional value for the quality of the food. Their creme brulee tops the ranks as the best I have ever eaten, and there have been a few consumed. It's my 'go to' dessert if it's on a menu! Thank you No 3 for making my birthday so special and I hope to see you again before too long ☺

Crow Hill, Upton Bishop, Ross-on-WyeThis establishment is quite simply superb. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in safe hands. Chris, the owner runs through the menu with an exemplary mix of knowledge and passion. The quality of the food was some of the very best we’ve ever tasted. The waiting team were all friendly efficient and added to the whole experience. It’s a long time since we have been so pleasantly surprised at a dining pub this good. Chris deserves every accolade there is.

Walford, Ross-on-WyeA beautiful pub serving locally sourced delicious food. We had a delicious lunch. A very good choice of food and the best desserts on the menu. Very reasonably priced. We also enjoyed the James Gourmet Coffee. Our waitress was fabulous and went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. We would definitely recommend visiting this pub and look forward to a return visit. The Pengethley Farm faggots were the best!

Avellino Italian Restaurant
10 High St, Ross-on-WyeWhat a lovely find! We were driving past Ross-on-Wye and wanted a meal. Found a promising looking pub, but discovered they weren't serving food. The recommended Avellino and we are so glad they did. They fitted us in, even though they were busy. We both had pizza, they were excellent. We will make a point of going back there the next chance we get. Based on our experience we too would recommend Avellino!

The Royal
Royal Parade, Ross-on-WyeStayed here for a couple of nights Saturday and Sunday. The staff warm and welcoming food was very nice. Rooms large and spacious.
But carpets could do with straightening out and cleaning water temp very difficult to get right very hot then very cold. Bed was like sleeping on bedrock. My room was above the bar which was fine until the morning before 8am what sounded chairs being dragged across the floors for over an hour . The bar below. I can only comment on my room number 17 (great expectations) but I found it lacking. Food drink nice atmosphere then I recommend the royal for somewhere to go .But I couldnt recommend staying over.

Staff were able to amend a dish to exclude certain ingredients. I am vegetarian and there was a huge menu to choose from. Portion sizes were very good and their food was piping hot and presented well. I would highly recommend Zam Zam and we will certainly be back.

KFC Ross on Wye - Ross Park
Netherton Rd, Ross-on-Wyemy husband and i visited this kfc last friday. very busy and quite a long wait for food but it was all very fresh. toilets were clean. staff very friendly and a credit to the store. the young man with glasses taking orders and making drinks looked well very organised.

Now im a massive critic of cheese burgers but this place well WOW Mouth watering burger with fresh salad and fresh buns
The chips perfectly cooked the chicken nuggets and sausages lets put it this way my kids ate everything and they loved it so we will return to mings 1000% i highly recommend this place and leave a open mind and leave your review for me its 10/10 absolutley lovely and welcoming

The Hostelrie at Goodrich
Goodrich, Ross-on-WyeWe had a lovely meal last night ( Saturday 17th Jan) with friends . Its the first time we have visited for a number of years . Our friends had recommended it. It's been transformed by the new owners . It's very welcoming , nice furnishings , open fires and a lovely atmosphere. The food was excellent, it was a limited menu but all very nice. The service was a bit slow , and one niggle was that we ordered coffee at 9.15pm but we're told the coffee machine had already been cleaned and turned off. The pub was still busy so this seemed a strange thing to do. Hopefully it was just a one off. I would definitely recommend trying it.

Good selection of cask and keg beer with a lovely wee Belgian specialist beer selection too. Its absolutely unique selling point is the superb range of natural authentic cider and perry. It’s made in the cider farm behind the pub and is all beautifully made with evident passion. Ask for a taster and advice from the knowledgeable team: you should really try it (there is a small shop behind to take bottles home too) lucky locals to have this gem on their doorstep!

Don’t discount that it is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant, the food was a great choice and the pumpkin pie was the best I’d ever had.

Tweet is a great place to treat yourself to something special and meet up and have a good time with friends.
The staff are nice, service is good and timely. I have been here a few times and there really aren't any negatives. I would definitely recommend giving Tweet a visit.

Plenty of parking also with a Spa shop and fuel station.Called in several times over the years and always had a experience.I called in for a bacon sandwich and was served quickly even though there was several people in front of me. Perfectly cooked and very enjoyable.Based on my experience I will definitely return and would recommend.

The Potting Shed Whitchurch
The potting Shed, B4164, Whitchurch, Ross-on-WyeAbsolutely superb evening! Super friendly host Shelly welcomed us with a smile and was perfectly attentive to our needs. Our food was delicious, my wife had the duck which was beautifully cooked and I had the salmon, the flavours were divine. Orles Barn Hotel
Wilton, Ross-on-WyeWe were staying at a B&B in the area and this restaurant was recommended to us. We are so glad we chose Orles Barn and our experience there was 5* from start to finish, including the friendly waiter hanging up our coats. The food was superb and beautifully presented. We followed the waiter's recommendation of the homemade Toblerone cheesecake for dessert. I can usually take or leave Toblerone and cheesecake, but this was heavenly! It was a wonderful meal and experience.
