Friendly service, lovely staff and a happy atmosphere. Carvery was great with lots of choices. Just too expensive for a person with a smaller appetite. It’s one of the most expensive things on the menu and I didn’t eat £18.95 worth.

Standard Turkish cuisine with plenty to choose from.
You do not get complementary mezze unlike most Turkish restaurants but the portion sizes are good.
They also have a babby changing facilities in the toilet.

However, there was some confusion around the children’s menu shown online. When we asked about it, we were told quite bluntly that it wasn’t an option. I showed our waitress the online menu, but she firmly stated they “don’t use the internet” and that the offer wasn’t available.\n\nI politely suggested it might be worth updating or removing the online menu, as some customers will expect what’s advertised to be honoured. The same waitress also came across quite stern throughout our visit and we didn’t see a single smile, which was a shame given how good the food was.\n\nOverall, the meal itself was excellent — a few improvements in communication and customer service would make the experience even better.

8 Arena Parade, Letchworth Garden CityI visited on a Saturday night, they managed to fit us in with no problem (table of 2).
We were seen to straight away and ordered our drinks and some poppadom's. However it then took a while to order our mains due to a huge influx of reservations, 16 people across 3 or 4 tables!
When the waiter came back to take our mains order he was very apologetic.
Indian Royal seems like a very friendly restaurant in that if we lived in Letchworth, we would want this to be our local Indian, several customers seemed to be on first name terms with all the staff! The food was top notch, the service as mentioned above, was great and the prices were very reasonable. Around £40 for 2 mains, 2 naan, 1 rice, 4 poppadom's and drinks. (May 2025)

Chicken shish was nicely cooked, doner meat was tasty. Chips nice and crispy. Salad was also good. Chilli sauce seemed to be missing the chilli. Also got a free can of drink thrown in. Portion size was good and very reasonably priced. Bloke behind the counter wasn't the friendliest of people. ?.

USA Fried Chicken
54 Station Rd, Letchworth Garden CityI tried the hot wings and chips and also took a pizza home. I was waiting inside and noticed the place was incredibly clean and tidy for a chicken shop. I was very impressed. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked and kept nicely hot. They had a very good selection on their menu so there’s definitely something for someone. Highly recommend to anyone looking for some good fried chicken!

She was treating the staff and customers with upmost respect. I had the new raspberry bubble drink. Wow was made so well. Photo below. Unfortunately Costa don't seem to supply a squirt nozzle so the staff can drizzle the sauce. But at my request they did a fantastic job. The music was at sensible level today. Toilets clean and cafe free of litter and tables clean. I enjoyed my visit today.
